All of them turned their heads to see who it was and saw the devil with a mini devil sitting on his left arm casually. He looked dashing and handso in his suit. He had his black and thick hair brushed up, allowing people to see his face clearly.
His obsidian eyes were mysterious and srizing at the sa ti. His face was strong and defined, his features appeared to have been molded from granite. He had dark brows which sloped downward in a serious expression.
On his right hand, he held his cane, keeping his balance on his feet. It was impossible for people around them to ignore this dazzling scene. The big bun and the little bun were going to save the empress from whoever that dared to bully her.
Xiao Bao looked at his mother then to the strangers that seed to annoy her. He wanted to say sothing, but he'd promised his Daddy Ji that he would remain silent as they rescued their mommy from the 'annoying people' Little Star had told them about earlier.
"Tianyi, what a surprise." Wang Ruoxi said in shock. She hadn't expected that the devil would willingly show himself and associate himself to the Feng family. She had thought that Feng Tianyi would remain out of their hair.
Feng Tianyi chuckled. He didn't have any intention to see or et this ugly old hag, but Little Star had co running to him begging him to save her mommy from the bullies. He was confused as to why his daughter would say that, as the empress could easily protect herself, but he went over to check on her anyway.
Xiao Bao had insisted on coming with him. Feng Tianyi wasn't planning to bring him, but he supposed with a kid being around, those stupid a.d.u.l.ts wouldn't dare to spout nonsense in his presence.
"Lady Wang, it's been a while. I hope you and my 'brother' are taking really good care of my father's legacy. Because you know, I didn't give way for Tianhua only to see it crumble on its own."
If Wang Ruoxi thought Tang Moyu's tongue was poisonous, it was incomparable to the devil's words. Only a few words from her husband's eldest child and she could feel her blood pressure rising.
Feng Tianyi had never wasted a single chance to anger her. Even when he was younger, Wang Ruoxi wasn't able to connect or affect the child in any way. She hated the obsidian eyes of his that seed to be able to see past her mask and could see through her soul. This made her uncomfortable having him around.
"Yes, of course. You've been gone for a long ti, Tianyi. We've been wondering all this ti where you have been." She let out an awkward smile and glanced at her son, who was itching to pounce on his brother if not for Xing Yiyue holding his arm to stop him.
It took her so ti to recover and regain her composure after eting her supposed brother-in-law. Well, who cares if he looks better, Feng Tianhua got a lot to offer for her, so it was useless if the elder brother had a good face.
Feng Tianyi's lips curled up into a smile and regarded his father's mistress, his stupid little brother and sister-in-law.
"Oh, who's this?" He regarded Xing Yiyue with curiosity. "Is this your new side chick? He asked Feng Tianhua with a grin. "You used to have a new one every ti I et you."
Xing Yiyue's face blanched upon hearing his words, while Feng Tianhua's face darkened. If he wasn't afraid of his reputation being ruined, he would have punched his older brother's face for his impertinence.
"I-I… I'm his wife." She stuttered, trying to clear the misunderstanding between them.
Feng Tianyi pretended he was surprised and looked at his brother with widened eyes.
"Oh my… I'm sorry. So this is your wife?" He returned his gaze to Xing Yiyue, who looked bashful. It was almost natural for her to act cute and innocent in front of n to gain favors from them.
"I'm Xing Yiyue. You might have probably heard my na…" She introduced herself. With her being a popular actress these days, it was impossible for Feng Tianyi not to know who she was.
"Uhh… I'm afraid I don't know who you are. I must really be hiding under a rock to not know who's who." Feng Tianyi laughed as he seated himself across Wang Ruoxi, placing Baobao on his l.a.p and patted his head like a cat.
It was then Feng Tianyi had chosen to turn his attention to the empress, who had been silent since his arrival with Xiao Bao. Tang Moyu hadn't uttered a single word and chose to only listen and observe what he was up to. She hadn't expected for him to show up with Baobao, but a part of her was happy that he'd co to help her.
"Oh, so who's this goddess I'm seeing then? Are you my brother's friend?" He asked Tang Moyu.
The empress scoffed.
"Do I look like his friend? I don't know him at all. Please."
The devil couldn't suppress the amus.e.m.e.nt that flashed on his eyes. He placed down the little boy on the seat next to him and slowly rose to his feet. He made his way to the empress and extended a hand.
"Excuse , Miss. Can I ask for the ti? I'd check my watch, but I can't seem to take my eyes off you."
