This was why she didn't care if she needed to beg as long as the devil would be able to bring back her children to her side. Nothing in this world held more importance to her but her little buns.
Feng Tianyi could see her lips quivering and her eyes burning as if she was trying to keep her tears at bay. Seeing her like this, allowing herself to fall on her knees for another favor, made the devil wonder if he should just ruin the Ye Corporation for reducing Moyu into this helpless state she was in.
Perhaps it wasn't too late for him to change his mind and do what his right-hand man had suggested.
Why? He couldn't understand. Why would Moyu do this? She didn't need to beg him at all.
For the first ti, he saw the empress helpless and he didn't like it one bit. For Tang Moyu to reduce herself to this showed how much her children ant to her.
Hadn't she realized that she'd managed to get so deep under his skin, he was willing to do everything for her sake?
Was it fate that brought them together? The devil didn't think so. He wouldn't call it anything. It's just two people that happened to cross paths with one another and ended up caring for each other.
The seeds might have implanted themselves even before he noticed that she had an influence over him.
To be honest, before his accident and eting the empress and her children, Feng Tianyi was positively sure that he wasn't a good person. He would think highly of himself and was completely selfish.
"Stand up, Moyu." He repeated with a gentler tone this ti. "I promised you, didn't I? So there's no need for you to do this."
Tang Moyu raised herself but lowered her head, refusing to et his gaze. If there was another way for her to get her children without causing conflict between Tang Enterprise and Ye Corporation, she would have gone straight towards the Ye Mansion to get her children herself.
"It has sothing to do with you, isn't it?" Feng Tianyi's gaze sharpened towards Ye Xiaozu, who'd been silent since his arrival. "Did you tell your aunt about Luo Luo?"
"That's impossible!" Lu Tianxin stood up for Ye Xiaozu. "He won't do sothing like that. Luo Luo is his sister's son. She might have figured out the truth about him."
"Or she could have known it all since the beginning." Gu Yuyao rubbed her chin as she stood next to her fiance. "She might have suspected Luo Luo's identity all this ti and have kept silent about it."
Feng Tianyi's eyes turned into slits, his hand tightening on Tang Moyu's.
"So what changed? Why now?" He turned his head to look at Ye Xiaozu.
He'd heard rumors about the devil and he'd never thought that the man who's been missing for years was actually living under the sa roof with the fallen empress.
"I don't fucking care what her reasons are. She shouldn't keep Luo Luo or my children from ." Tang Moyu peered at President Ye.
Li ili crossed her arms. "Luo Luo isn't a pawn and damn, to take my little buns with him? Are they inviting trouble?"
"Definitely not. I won't allow it!" Feng Tianyi said. Gu Yuyao nodded, her eyes darkening. For the first ti, the two were on the sa page and agreed with each other.
The Gu heiress was willing to use her family's connection to pressure the Ye family to return the children if she had to.
Song Fengyan shrugged. "Ye Xixi just offended the wrong person this ti."
He could tell that the devil would be willing to play dirty so long as he could get the children back from that old woman. Nobody sses with the devil, especially with his 'almost' family.
He Lianchen glanced at the man sitting on the wheel chair. It was rare to see him furious like this. He might not have truly approved of Feng Tianyi and Tang Moyu's blooming romance, but he was definitely wrapped around the fingers of those little buns.
"Tell how you want to deal with them. Are you going to teach them a lesson or should we completely ruin the company they'd been fighting for?"
Ye Xiaozu and Lu Tianxin froze in shock. They'd never expected that the devil would consider leaving ruins in his wake just to get what he wanted. He was definitely called the devil for a reason, alright.
Feng Tianyi humd, considering their options.
"There's no need for that, Lianchen. I don't want to cause inconvenience to my Moyu later. I'm too lazy to clean up after the ss. Just confront the old woman. But I'm afraid I'm not the best person to face Ye Xixi," he admitted.
"Then what should we do?" Song Fengyan asked. Who knows what the children are experiencing now.
"I'll do it. I'm the cause of all of this anyway." Ye Xiaozu made up his mind.
"Of course you should, but we need soone who can properly deal with your aunt." Feng Tianyi said. "I can think of one person she can't easily go head-on with."
Song Fengyan groaned as if he knew what the devil had in mind.
"So… it's ti to summon the empress dowager herself?" He asked.
The devil's lips twitched. If he had any options, he wouldn't call his mother. But based on experience, dealing with the older woman was like fighting a war.
