12 Taking the Handso Uncle Ho 2
Actually, this was the first ti that soone took a liking to him. None of his subordinates would say that they enjoyed his company and would rather leave as soon as they finished their designated tasks.
Maybe this was the reason why he found the little buns' company refreshing. They could talk for hours without him getting irritated at their random chatters. Before his accident, Feng Tianyi had a bad impression on kids, so he didn't like to be surrounded by them but this pair of buns broke that impression.
"I take it that you agree with us, Uncle." Xiao Bao looked at him expectantly. He truly wished deep in his young heart that his handso uncle would take the bait so they could introduce him to their Mommy.
Feng Tianyi laughed and shook his head. How did they end up with that conclusion? Did these two never experience being told 'No' before?
"Alright, since the two of you offered kindly. This uncle hopes you'll take care of him in the future." He wasn't taking their offer seriously because, let's face it, if their mother found out what they did today, she would also vehently go against it.
"Really? Then that's great, Uncle! Then you should co ho with us now!" Little Star exclaid, to which her brother agreed. Their plan was going well.
"Yes, Uncle. How can we take care of you if you aren't living with us? Don't worry, Uncle. Our ho has enough rooms for you to stay in." Xiao Bao humd his agreent to his twin sister's suggestion.
The pair of buns looked at him expectantly, their eyes wide as they waited for his answer. They were both expecting him to agree to their proposal.
"Uhh… I don't think that's a good idea." Feng Tianyi hesitated. He knew he would break these children's hearts if he really denied them but what can he do? He was pretty sure their mother wouldn't agree with what they wanted.
The smile of their faces fell and Little Star started to sob, earning a few curious glances from people around them.
"Uncle already agreed but why are going back on your word. Mommy said your nose will grow long if you keep lying. You'll be known as a 'Nose Man' by everyone." Little Star's eyes were now clouded with tears.
Feng Tianyi opened his mouth to argue but when a luxurious black car parked in front of them, his words were forgotten. The sa bodyguard that was following them earlier stepped out and bowed at him.
Little Star tightened her hold on his neck, refusing to leave without him while Xiao Bao was giving him an intense stare with the corner of his lips turned down.
"Uncle already agreed. You can't go back on your word now," Xiao Bao firmly stated, leaving Feng Tianyi speechless. He felt like he'd just shot his own foot.
He could feel a headache coming his way and berated himself for not considering their feelings when he answered earlier. What should he do now?
Declining their wishes now ant he was lying, but if he agreed… just what kind of man he would be to take advantage of these cute little buns? Ah, this was really a conundrum that was giving him a headache right now.
While he was busy thinking of how he should answer them, Xiao Bao asked him an obvious question.
"You don't want to go ho with us, do you? Is it because of our Mommy."
"Yes. Actually it isn't right for the two of you to invite a stranger into your ho without your mother's consent. I'm sure your mother set a number of rules for the two of you to follow and that includes not talking to strangers. Since you barely know and your mother have no idea of my existence, she might think of as a threat in your ho, so I'm not going."
Ah, it was a good thing that Xiao Bao gave him an opening. Now that he explained to them the problem, Feng Tianyi hoped that the two would at least understand what he ant, given that they were a pair of smart, adorable kids.
The two little buns remained silent for a while, reconsidering his words. They both found it reasonable. Little Star looked at her brother and nodded. This wasn't part of their plan.
This uncle was really amazing. So smart! Why didn't they consider this earlier?
"All right, then. Since Uncle isn't comfortable going ho with us then we can go to yours."
Feng Tianyi wanted to vomit blood right then. Just where did these children get their shalessness? He'd never t a child who willingly visits a stranger's ho without their parents' consent.
When he was a child, he was also wild and had brought problems to his nannies, but not to the extent of taking a stranger ho just because he liked them. Had they brought another person ho before this or was he the first?
When he remained silent, Xiao Bao and Little Star scowled at the sa ti. Did they fail to convince this handso uncle? Then how would they set him up to et their Mommy if he won't agree?
"We're not allowed to even visit Uncle?" Little Star asked dejectedly. Even Xiao bao looked like all hopes had vanished on his cute face.
It was obvious that these little buns were upset and ready to cry. Feng Tianyi glanced at their bodyguard who remained impassive at the scene. Little Star released her hold on his neck and lowered her head.
"So Uncle doesn't want us anymore? It's my fault, Yu Gege. Now, Uncle wouldn't want anything to do with us. Wuuuuu…." The little girl cried. Her small fists on her reddened eyes as pearls of tears rolled down her chubby rosy cheeks.
Feng Tianyi's heart, if he had one, clenched painfully in his chest upon seeing her cry. He ntally slapped and chided himself. Why did he suddenly feel weak against this pair of sweet buns? Now, the two successfully made him feel guilty for making them cry.
"All right, all right. Don't cry anymore. Uncle will bring you ho but you must promise to behave."
He then allowed Little Star to slip down from his lap and lead him to the backseat of the car. Taking out his black cane, Feng Tianyi supported his whole weight on it and slid inside next to the children.
"Where to, Sir?" The bodyguard slid into the driver's seat and ignited the engine.
"To the North Star Complex," Feng Tianyi gave him the address of his current residence. At least their bodyguard was with them or else he would feel like he had just kidnapped a set of cute little buns and taken them ho.
Little Star snuggled back into his embrace before giving her twin brother a victorious grin while Xiao Bao smirked back at her.
