"Hey, hey, stop taking screenshots, look quickly!"

"Huh? The city gate is opening?"

Under the astonished gaze of the players, the tightly closed gates of Winterfell City suddenly began to open slowly.

Most players didn't react in ti. Clearly, the defending side had the advantage, so why open the gates and launch an attack?

However, Avatar and other player representatives quickly guessed Sylvie's intentions.

"The Eaglehold Lord plans to destroy our respawn point. Last ti in Blackriver Territory, he must have noticed our temporary respawn point."

"And also..."

Avatar pursed his lips and sneakily typed into the public channel:

"Our temporary respawn crystal is already quite conspicuous, and the protagonist Ye Hao is standing next to it like a 36-watt light bulb. With this reflection, it's like three big light bulbs. The Eaglehold Lord isn't blind..."

"Brothers, pull so people back to protect the crystal. Although we brought quite a few, once they're gone, they're gone. Plus, setting up a new crystal has a 30-second cooldown."

Soon, half of the veteran players followed the order and returned to protect the crystal.

They also noticed that there were fewer guards on the city wall, reducing the pressure of the siege. Now, protecting the respawn point was the most important task.

The chains of the gate were lowered, and the hard obsidian magic gate slamd onto the ground with a "bang," kicking up a cloud of dust.

A deafening sound of footsteps followed, causing the ground to tremble slightly.

The players widened their eyes and looked up, only to see a neat phalanx appearing under the towering Winterfell City. The majestic Eaglehold banner fluttered in the sky, flapping loudly.

The Crusaders' shiny armor glead with a dazzling luster. They held their longswords tightly to their chests with their right hands, the blades emitting a cold gleam, pointing straight to the sky.

Their left hands held shields in front of them, even the height of the shields was identical.

They seed to be one entity, even the gaze from their helts was uniformly indifferent.

At the front of the phalanx, the Eaglehold Lord, clad in Dragon Crystal Armor and wearing a visor, looked at the players with a piercing gaze. A long health bar unfurled above his head, the scarlet threat level flashing, exuding a murderous aura like a raging tide.

From a high vantage point on the battlefield.

The strict and orderly phalanx of Winterfell City's army contrasted sharply with the gourd-shaped, ever-changing mass of players like scattered sand.

The air was still for a mont, and the players felt their lips go dry.

So quick-witted players had already used Appraisal and posted screenshots in the public channel:

[Na: Rainer]

[Identity: Crusader]

[Strength: Swordsman Level 18]

[Skills: Shield Bash, Formation Power]

[Equipnt: Crusader Shield, Crusader Longsword, Crusader Standard Armor]

[Threat Level: Normal ~ Hard]

[Eaglehold Reputation: 1 (They are silent, but indeed the sharp sword in the lord's hand)]

They could only see the Crusaders' information because the player's level was higher than the Crusaders. However, when they looked at the Eaglehold Lord's information, it was still a bunch of glaring question marks.

[Eaglehold Lord - Sylvie Goldlion (Skull)]

[Sky Knight - Level 52 - Nightmare]

It was the familiar formula, the familiar taste, the familiar nightmare, except the word "nightmare," which was originally sowhat red, had turned pitch black.

"Hey... brothers, don't be scared, we have the numbers... we can overwhelm him."

"Exactly, exactly!"

After a brief silence in the public channel, accompanied by one or two encouraging ssages, the players also ca to their senses:

"Brothers, we're averaging level 15, and we have a thousand veteran players over level 20. What are we afraid of?"

"Don't forget our mission! We have to rescue the Saintess!"

We are "pawread", find us on google.

"For the Saintess!"

"Death is like the wind, always by my side!"

"Solo the boss, explode with equipnt!"

"Rua! Rua!"

The players' morale imdiately rose, and their gaze towards Sylvie was once again filled with determination.

But Ye Hao wasn't feeling so well. Seeing the Eaglehold Lord break through to Sky Knight was already disgusting enough, but the key issue was, how did this old man blocking his way also break through to Sky Knight?

Who on earth is cheating?!

Looking at the old knight Claremont in front of him, with battle aura surging, Ye Hao couldn't help but curse that grand will in his heart.

"TM, is this what you call invading a world? It's a wonder your broken world hasn't been invaded."

"Don't you have any self-awareness about your own strength?"

Buzz—

"Ye Hao!" A supre and grand voice suddenly echoed in Ye Hao's mind, startling him into a shiver, and he couldn't help but secretly pray in his heart:

Hopefully, it didn't hear what I just said.

"The connection between my world and this one has made a slight breakthrough, so I can temporarily alter the rules of this world for a while."

Behind Ye Hao, a projection appeared that only he could see, blurry and seemingly unstable, with parts of its body slowly disintegrating.

The projection held a blue planet in its hand, and only the brilliant divine light in its eyes could be vaguely seen.

The grand existence cast its gaze towards the Eaglehold Lord in the distant army formation and murmured:

"Is this variable your ans of self-rescue, Kain? If you've exhausted everything to rewind ti and still only made this much progress, then you ultimately cannot escape the fate of destruction."

The grand will wavered for a mont, and Ye Hao suddenly felt that the surrounding environnt seed to beco incongruous, with overwhelming pressure bearing down, as if he had beco an anomaly in this world.

The speed of the grand will's projection disintegration also accelerated. Its eyes flickered, and with a raised hand, a beam of white light shot towards the players confronting the Eaglehold Lord.

After doing all this, it shattered, turning into a shower of light particles and disappearing.

The incongruity and pressure around also vanished.

At the sa ti, the players received a prompt from the task system:

[Mainline BOSS discovered, Eaglehold Lord Sylvie Goldlion]

[Due to the large level gap, initiating correction...]

[Correction complete!]

[Damage dealt by players to Sylvie Goldlion is now forced to be true damage]

...

"Holy shit! True damage!"

"What does that an, does it an we won't miss all our attacks on the Eaglehold Lord?"

"Probably, before we couldn't break his defense, not only because his equipnt and level were too high but also because he had battle aura protection all over."

"Now, according to the task, his battle aura protection chanism should be weakened."

"Woohoo!"

"I said, how could a ga release a task we couldn't possibly complete? Now it seems normal."

Unlike the players' excitent and joy, Sylvie felt a chill all over. He had a premonition that sothing bad had happened to him.

He had been weakened, not in attack, but in defense.

This ant that players overwhelming him to death was no longer a distant hope...
