Three days later, Sylvie finally returned to Winterfell City with his soldiers.

He looked at the familiar city and streets, even finding the sll of horse manure in the air refreshingly familiar.

"Nothing beats being on your own turf," Sylvie couldn't help but sigh inwardly.

He glanced at the soldiers behind him and noticed that their eyes also reflected comfort and relaxation, likely sharing his sentints.

The group leisurely made their way back to Winterfell Keep, and from a distance, Sylvie spotted a figure sitting on a small stool.

She was a charming contrast to the tall soldiers guarding the castle, appearing even more petite and adorable by comparison.

This figure was none other than his little maid, Loli.

Behind Loli stood a kind-looking middle-aged woman, Mrs. Chris.

"What are these two doing at the gate?" Sylvie wondered, spurring his horse to the front of the group.

Loli rested her chin in her hands, her little ears drooping as she sat there, lost in thought.

Suddenly, a group of figures on horseback appeared in her view, crossing the moat outside the castle and arriving at the drawbridge.

The knight leading the group wore magnificent Dragon Crystal Armor, stained with dried, darkened blood.

He rode a majestic Dragonblood Steed, his golden hair shining in the afternoon sun.

"Mas... Master?"

Loli rubbed her eyes in disbelief.

At first, she murmured softly, but as the figure drew nearer, her eyes grew brighter.

Her fluffy ears perked up, and she could no longer contain her longing and excitent, shouting loudly, "Master!"

As she shouted, Loli bounced over to Sylvie, who had already dismounted.

Her big eyes narrowed slightly, and a happy smile played on her lips.

She wanted to reach out and hug the man before her, but mindful of her status and the many soldiers watching, she hesitated and withdrew her hand, only daring to pinch the corner of Sylvie's cloak.

Loli watched Sylvie intently as he led his warhorse, carefully checking for any injuries on him.

Mrs. Chris approached, casting a loving glance at Loli, and said to Sylvie with a chuckle, "Young Master Sylvie, Little Loli waits here for you every day after class until the castle bell rings at night before she'll go back, no matter how much we try to persuade her."

Mrs. Chris's words made Loli's face flush red, but she still looked up at Sylvie, stubbornly clutching his cloak as if he might disappear at any mont.

"Really? I didn't expect that while I was out fighting, my little maid would be thinking of back at the castle."

Sylvie felt a warmth in his heart at these words, gazing softly at the bright-eyed little maid. In her expectant expression, he gently placed his large hand on her head, stroking it tenderly.

Loli stood on tiptoe, eyes closed, looking very happy and content, a cute smile curving her lips.

Around them, so knights were counting the bricks on the castle, others chatting with their horses, seemingly at peace but inwardly tornted.

Sylvie quickly sensed the resentful atmosphere around him. He pinched Loli's cheek and then turned to the knights, saying, "Alright, everyone, stop standing around here, it's quite hot."

"Take the day off, no need to stand guard at the castle tonight."

After giving his orders, Sylvie took a bag of gold coins from the carriage and handed it to Claremont, instructing solemnly, "Distribute these coins to the families of the fallen soldiers. From now on, have them collect their compensation fund at the administrative office every month."

"Oh, and," Sylvie added, "make sure to verify their family information to prevent any fraudulent claims."

Then Sylvie called Goodbye over, assigning him to organize the supplies brought back from Blackriver Territory and store them in the castle's warehouse.

Once everything was taken care of, Sylvie took his little maid back to his room.

He hadn't bathed in days. Although practicing Battle Aura ant his body had fewer impurities than ordinary people, it didn't an he didn't sweat.

Feeling sticky all over, he was eager to take a good soak.

But just as he removed his armor, leaving only his undergarnts, the little maid, who had been standing quietly to the side, suddenly darted into his arms like a swallow returning to its nest.

Loli had been waiting for this mont for a long, long ti.

She wrapped her soft little arms tightly around Sylvie's waist, her pink face nuzzling against his chest, murmuring indistinctly.

"Mmm... Master..."

"I missed you so much..."

Breathing in Sylvie's familiar scent, Loli felt herself go weak, a blush slowly spreading from her neck to her face.

She had deliberately waited until Sylvie removed his armor to hug him, because only then could she fully feel her master's warmth and broad chest.
