Chapter 27
Ming i walked out of the supervisor’s office in a daze.
She had aspirations to beco the next-generation contact editor for the editing departnt, working hard to discover new anchors, but… an invisible hand blocked her path.
Wasn’t the Federal Livestream known as the fairest platform? Why did such a situation arise?
The supervisor clearly ntioned that Jiang Qiuqiu had the potential, yet the contract was still rejected. The reason for the rejection wasn’t disclosed, but at this point, Ming i could guess.
This speculation was confird in the company’s tea room. At that mont, she was absent-mindedly sitting in a booth in the tea room, contemplating whether to ssage Jiang Qiuqiu.
Familiar voices next door echoed, not bothering to control their volu, and their words were audacious.
“Why is that new girl so listless today? She looks lifeless all of a sudden.”
“Ah, it’s because she’s too young.”
“Huh? What do you an?”
The female voice laughed for a while, casually saying, “She found a livestrear who only knows how to cook, a poor thing blocking the path of the young miss.”
“Doesn’t that an she’ll be at the bottom again in the year-end performance evaluation?”
“Maybe, but let’s just talk about her this year.”
“How co?”
“If she hits rock bottom again, she’ll be ga over. She’ll be erased from the editing departnt in the future.”
The two in the next booth laughed heartily.
Ming i clenched her fist.
Feeling unsafe at the company, she took a short break, went ho, and sent a communication to Jiang Qiuqiu.
But Jiang Qiuqiu didn’t respond.
She speculated that Jiang Qiuqiu might be cooking at the mont, so she didn’t rush and waited for a reply.
At noon, the communication rang.
A clearer voice than in the livestream room entered Ming i’s ears. As a professional habit, she analyzed the voice: soft, gentle, suitable for a bedti livestream. It would probably be marketable with so interesting stories.
“Hello, is this Ming i, the editor?”
“Yes, is this Jiang Jiujiu?”
“Why did you suddenly send a communication? Is there sothing wrong?”
This matter is a bit complicated. Ming i fell silent for a mont, not speaking. On the other side, Jiang Qiuqiu felt a slight heaviness and asked, “Is there an issue with the contract?”
“… Yes.”
“From your tone, it seems it’s not about changing the split.”
“I… you might not be able to sign with the Federal Livestream platform.”
Jiang Qiuqiu noticed that the editor used ‘you can’t sign with the platform’ instead of ‘you can’t sign with .’ So she asked, “What happened?”
Ming i repeated the discourse about offending a young miss, “You seem to have blocked soone’s path in the sa zone, and she blacklisted you in the editing departnt.”
“Blacklisted?” She was actually blacklisted by soone she had never heard of before?
And that person’s power was really significant.
Originally, Ming i thought that if she missed Jiang Qiuqiu, she could find a solution for her, get a more powerful editor, and contact her senior sister, a highly influential editor in the platform. She wanted her to guide Jiang Qiuqiu.
But after the senior sister checked the file, she directly rejected her, saying, “This livestrear is a pity.”
Clearly, that young miss wasn’t an ordinary aristocrat.
Not a small aristocrat-soone with such extended influence must be a top-tier aristocrat-
Ming i was just an ordinary interstellar free person, unable to resist such aristocrats. She could only compromise.
And she consoled Jiang Qiuqiu to compromise as well, “The aristocrat took action. You won’t be able to stay on this livestream platform.”
A decisive conclusion.
The communication ended, and Jiang Qiuqiu felt a chill for a while.
But soon, she regained her fighting spirit. All roads lead to Ro. If this one doesn’t work, then the next one will. (“All roads lead to Ro” – ans that there are multiple paths or thods to achieve a particular objective, and if one approach fails, there are always alternative routes to try.)
Change! The Federal Livestream is too noble; she can’t afford it. She’ll directly engage the next powerful editor!
