Gu Hai remained in closed-door cultivation on the flying ship, continuously cultivating the Worldly Sorrowful Endownt.

Gu Hai saw countless bats flying about a large town, frantically attacking the townsfolk.

“Vampires! Save !”
Loud cries rang out.
“Vampires?” Gu Hai’s face sank.
“Yes. They seem to be attacking the citizens,” Tang Chu said with an unsightly expression.
Gu Hai lowered his head and looked down. Indeed, he saw twenty black-robed people in the distance.
“Don’t worry. We won’t kill all of you. We will leave ten alive so you can report this to your emperor,” the black-robed leader said with a cold smile.

Gu Hai looked down from high in the sky. An ice-cold light flashed in his eyes as he asked, “You are looking for us?”
The Nascent Soul Realm Gu Hai’s voice rang out incredibly loudly. The thunderous sound instantly caused countless bats to pause and turn to look at the sky.
The twenty black-robed n below also seed to notice Gu Hai.
“Huh? Gu Hai?” The black-robed leader appeared slightly surprised.
“Your Majesty? Your Majesty, save !” the people under attack by bats below shouted in horror.
Gu Hai’s eyes turned cold as the nascent embryo in his fire deity palace sent out so energy. Then, he gently waved his right hand.

Gu Hai had sucked the three spiritual souls of the black-robed man he just killed into the Karmic Energy pool. As the Karmic Energy pool spun counterclockwise, it seed to be grinding the three spiritual souls.
“Argh! Argh! No!” the three spiritual souls shrieked in pain as they slowly vanished from the Karmic Energy pool.
Then, wisps of nine-colored mist slowly appeared on the nding Heaven Energy pool that spun clockwise, just a little.
“nding Heaven Energy?” Gu Hai marveled.
“He killed Big Brother? Kill him! Otherwise, we will all burn to death!” The remaining black-robed n all charged at Gu Hai.
A cold look flashed in Gu Hai’s eyes as he swung his crimson saber down.
Rumble!
Gu Hai killed a total of fifteen black-robed n in the blink of an eye. The three souls of all fifteen entered the Karmic Energy pool and eventually transford into nding Heaven Energy.
“All those that I kill cannot reincarnate?” Gu Hai analyzed with slightly narrowed eyes.
The remaining five black-robed n fled in horror.
However, the inextinguishable divine fla covered their bodies; they could not put it out. After fleeing for a while, they eventually fell out of the sky, dead.
Despite the five black-robed n flying far away, their three spiritual souls and Karmic Energy still entered the Karmic Energy pool.
A gleam flashed in Gu Hai’s eyes. This cultivation technique was strange and mysterious.
“Many thanks, Your Majesty!”
“Long live Your Majesty! May Your Majesty live for ten thousand years!”
The citizens of the town below knelt in gratitude. If not for Gu Hai, the vampires would have slaughtered the entire town on this day.

The emperor was becoming increasingly more mysterious.
Gu Hai returned to the palace hall where he was previously in closed-door cultivation. After closing its doors, he took out the Marionette Controller that Fairy Waner broke.
Fairy Waner had chopped the Marionette Controller in half, completely wrecking it.

The nding Heaven Energy manifested as a mist. When it touched the juncture, it went inside. When Gu Hai pulled his finger away, the misty nding Heaven Energy completely entered the crack. Then, the enchanted treasure was whole, strangely fixed.
All the Heaven nding Energy released earlier had vanished in the blink of an eye. Gu Hai showed a shocked expression.
“It’s done? The Marionette Controller is fixed?” Gu Hai looked at this enchanted treasure in shock.
The place where the enchanted treasure had broken looked incredibly smooth, as though it had never broken at all. Everything appeared as good as new.
The shocked Gu Hai used his energy to activate it.

The Marionette Controller gave off a faint golden light, and Gu Hai could sense strands of transparent strings waiting for him to fling them out.
“The nding Heaven Energy? This nding Heaven Energy is very strange. It fixed the Marionette Controller just like that?” Gu Hai marveled as he looked at the enchanted treasure in his hand.

A throne was placed on the front of the flying ship’s deck.
Tang Chu and the other Han Nation officials and soldiers stood behind the throne, appearing excited about returning to the capital after capturing twelve cities.
Gu Hai sat on the throne. As he rested his arms on the armrests, he looked at the blessings above Chaoge City.
“Your Majesty, we’ve arrived in Chaoge City.” Tang Chu smiled.
