Even If I’m Reborn as a Cute Dragon Girl, I Will Still Make a Harem Book 6: Chapter 107: Caught Off Guard (part 7)
But all noise would fade eventually, and so does laughter.
Once the thrill of courting death subsided, the consequences of such recklessness always followed.
Lilith remained perfectly still, frozen in the exact pose she’d been in when the cake hit her. She didn’t move a muscle. It was as if she had transford into a statue.
Yet the calr she appeared, the more unsettling it felt to everyone else. It was like the calm before a storm.
Unable to bear the silence and tension any longer, Fenice elbowed the person beside her and whispered, “Hey, why don’t you go test the waters?”
“Why don’t you do it instead?”
The burly man beside her shot her a look that said she was out of her mind.
“Oh, co on. You looked so dashing after winning the bet and demanding everyone call you Daddy earlier. Go be a hero and sacrifice yourself.”
“You looked pretty dashing yourself just now. Why don’t you sacrifice yourself?”
“Could you really stand to watch a beauty like put herself in danger?” Fenice asked, striking a delicate pose.
“Of course I could,” the burly man said. “In fact, I’d be happy to help.”
Before Fenice could react, he gave her a firm shove.
She stumbled forward—and ca to an abrupt stop right in front of Lilith.
“Damn it, how dare you!” she yelled over her shoulder.
“Pfft.”
A faint sound escaped from Lilith, who was covered beneath the layers of cake.
Everyone was shocked. Fenice froze, staring warily at Lilith.
“Um… Your Highness, please hear us out!” she said quickly, bowing low. “We only prepared this cake as a surprise!”
“Pfft… hahaha…”
To everyone’s shock, Lilith suddenly burst into laughter.
*”What’s going on?”*
*”How should I know?”*
*”Did she… snap?”*
*”No way, it was just a small prank!”*
They exchanged uneasy glances, silently arguing with their eyes until, inevitably, all attention fell back on Fenice.
*”Go on, buddy. Check if it’s safe!”
“You b̲a̲s̲t̲a̲r̲d̲s̲!” Fenice hissed through gritted teeth. But at this point, turning back now was no longer an option.
Besides, despite her grumbling, she did care about the princess’ well-being.
Steeling herself, she stepped forward and carefully wiped the cake from Lilith’s face.
To her surprise, what erged beneath the layers of cream wasn’t fury but a joyful smile.
“What’s going on?” Fenice muttered, blinking in disbelief before her expression shifted to shock. “Don’t tell … Her Highness has actually lost her mind?”
“Who are you calling crazy?”
Lilith wiped away the last bits of cream and the tears of joy hidden beneath them.
“I don’t even know why, but all of a sudden, I just feel… really happy.”
“Happy?” Fenice’s mouth twitched.
*From getting smashed by a cake?*
Before she could think of what to say, Lilith stepped forward and wrapped her arms around her.
“Welco back, Fenice,” she said.
Fenice’s mind went blank.
Before she could react, Lilith was already moving down the line, hugging each of them one by one.
Even though she was the one who had returned, she greeted everyone with the sa words.
Her voice was gentle and sincere, as though they were eting again after a long, long separation.
“What’s happening? Why is Her Highness suddenly so… affectionate?” Fenice asked, scratching her cheek in confusion.
“Isn’t that a good thing?” Akarin floated nearby, smiling. “What matters most is that Her Highness is happy.”
“True.” Fenice couldn’t help but smile too. “Her Highness really does look her best when she’s smiling.”
How she wished this mont could last forever.
“But…”
After hugging everyone, Lilith’s tone suddenly shifted. Fenice’s small smile froze on her face.
“You guys still have to pay for this.”
Lilith pointed to the crumbs still stuck in her hair and sneered coldly. “You’d all better look forward to it.”
“Huuuuuuh?” The crowd wailed in unison.
“And Fenice, I’ll be paying special attention to you later.”
“Huh? Why ? That’s not fair!”
“That sofa in the carriage… that was you, wasn’t it?”
Lilith’s stared into her eyes and continued, “Don’t even try to deny it. I’ve confird it when I hugged you earlier.”
“Ugh…”
Fenice hung her head, sighing in despair.
The crowd instantly erupted in gleeful laughter at her misfortune.
After all, things never seed as bad when soone else had it worse.

“Lighter steps.”
“Keep your posture graceful.”
“No swaying on turns—yes, like that… Lift your foot higher!”
After showering and dressing, Lilith began her grand campaign of Disciplining Dragons.
Faced with this band of unruly, arrogant brutes who lived only for chaos, she made up her mind to reform them completely.
Her goal was to turn them into a graceful, refined, and properly civilized bunch.
So, she made them dance.
Yes, dance. Ballet, the dance of elegance itself, to be precise!
What? Ballet was only for won?
Who cared? Those towering brutes were going to dance for her!
And so, that was how this hellish scene ca to be—countless muscular n dressed in white tutus, prancing in perfect rhythm with the music.
The view was… dazzling.
So much so that Lilith had to wash her eyes every once a while to prevent permanent damage to her retinas.
As for Fenice…
She didn’t dance. Instead, she reverted to her true form—a frozen lake upon which the graceful swans pranced, tapping their toes lightly against her icy surface.
Of course, Lilith couldn’t say whether those idiots were secretly stomping on her.
By the third minute, Fenice’s eyes were already brimming with tears. But Lilith figured that as long as she was still breathing, doing this a few more hours wouldn’t kill her.
“How lovely,” Lilith murmured, relaxing in her chair as she admired the scene.
Finally, a mont of peace—no conniving won l̲u̲s̲t̲i̲n̲g after her body for once.
“I wish this could last forever.”
“Then Your Highness need only remain here.”
Akarin was now back in his human form, respectfully serving Lilith’s dinner on a silver tray.
“If Your Highness stays here, this joy will last forever.”
“Stay here… forever?” Lilith repeated softly.
That was a truly tempting suggestion.
But for so reason, she knew she couldn’t.
She felt as though there was an extrely important task waiting for her to complete.
“I see,” Akarin said as if he’d already known the answer. He set down the tray before Lilith, but didn’t step back right away.
“Your Highness,” he asked quietly, “may I pose a question?”
“Go ahead.”
“Are you… happy?”
