Even If I’m Reborn as a Cute Dragon Girl, I Will Still Make a Harem Book 5: Chapter 231: No Way Out
Slurp~
“Hehehe, Big Sister will co to rescue you soon, Lil’ Lily…”
In the dim room, Luna wiped her drool and imrsed herself in yet another R-18 visual novel ga. Her mind and eyes were filled with nothing but thoughts of her cute new wife, Lily.
At that mont, nothing was more important to her than advancing the main route to the ***(censored) part beyond. Luna couldn’t wait any longer; she had even prepared enough toilet rolls…
Now, she was just one step away from the final mont.
Knock knock knock…
Just when things were getting exciting, a series of knocks echoed through the room.
Luna frowned in annoyance, but this ti, she was too lazy to respond and simply sensed who was bothering her on the other side of the door. It was a suspicious-looking woman.
The woman wore the staff uniform but Luna had never seen her before. She pretended to push a food cart, knocked on the door, and then discreetly slipped a small note through the gap before quickly leaving without looking back.
Even the speed of her escape was unlike that of an ordinary person.
“What the heck…?” Luna murmured under her breath.
But still, curiosity compelled her to pause her ga and retrieve the small note through her special power.
“Is it that so-called Team Dragon again?” Luna had always known that she was being watched, but was too lazy to be bothered. After all, a giant wouldn’t care about the prying eyes of ants.
However, if the ants kept pestering her…
With a mix of curiosity and a desire to kill those people who dared to toy with her, Luna opened the note nonchalantly. It contained only a single sentence:
Wang Defa, a clerk in a jewelry store. A little beggar. An abandoned factory in the eastern suburbs of the city. Kidnap.
“Ah, so that guy didn’t stand up; he was kidnapped.” Luna’s expression remained unchanged as she mumbled to herself.
After burning the note to ashes, she settled back in front of her computer.
“Lily, will you stay with ?”
The dialogue appeared across the screen. The plot had reached its climax.
Luna clicked her tongue. “Tsk. I almost got it.” She then closed the ga without hesitation, opened her browser, and searched for a map of the eastern suburbs.

“Is this really okay, Old Wang?”
The manager of the jewelry store, who had also t Luna once, sat nervously on a worn-out chair, anxiously watching Old Wang as he munched on peanuts and sipped wine. ṘᴀɴȮʙЁ𝙨
“I have a bad feeling about this.”
“What’s there to worry about?” Old Wang cast an indifferent glance at him.
“W-We… we’re committing a cri here.”
The old fan creaked as it spun weakly. Struggling against the heat, the manager kept wiping the sweat from his forehead.
“Heh, what makes you think we’re committing a cri?”
“What makes think? This is kidnapping…! Kidnapping… is a serious cri!”
“Nonsense! Can we even call this kidnapping?”
Old Wang took a swig from the bottle and slamd it hard on the table. “Who is that guy? A beggar—barely even the scum of society. If he dies on the roadside, no one will bother to collect his body. And what about that woman? She’s a wanted criminal! Those gold coins she sold, and her jewelry, were probably stolen from sowhere. What do we call this? Getting rid of harm for the people, or taking out two birds with one stone. Even if we don’t get a reward, they should at least give us so sort of trophy for our contribution to society!”
“But…”
Old Wang glared at him fiercely.
“But what? You keep saying but. It’s too late to change your mind and back out now. It’s not like you can send that kid back and pretend nothing has ever happened. That kid looks scrawny but he’s heavy. Even if you don’t mind carrying him back, I certainly do.”
The manager forced a smile and replied, “No… I’m just feeling a little uneasy. After all… I’ve never done anything like this before.”
“There’s always a first in everything. Don’t worry; nothing will go wrong this ti. Besides…”
While peeling the peanut shells, Old Wang looked at the manager from the corner of his eye and teased, “Don’t you want revenge after what the woman has done to you?”
At this mont, the manager was no longer the neat and tidy man he had been when he first t Luna. He wore an ill-fitting old white vest that did little to conceal his flabby flesh that was usually covered by his dress shirt.
His face seed to have aged significantly. His eyes were weary, and his sideburns were streaked with gray.
The last ti he and Old Wang had discussed making a profit from the price difference in gold coins, they were discovered by the jewelry store owner. The owner called the police, and they ended up spending a night at the station.
Not only did they lose their money, but they were also fired by their boss. Since word of the incident spread through the industry, no one dared to hire them. The manager, whose na was Chen Xing, had a teenage child and a wife who was a full-ti housewife.
His child was at the age of needing a lot of financial support while his aging parents were facing various health issues. Hence, unemploynt was a devastating blow that could break his entire family.
Chen Xing had tried to change careers. However, a salesperson often lacked any special technical skills. He had worked hard to climb to the position of manager at a small jewelry store, and now that he had lost that position, he felt hopeless about his future.
What could he possibly work as? A laborer? No, his body wouldn’t last half a day. Waiter? Ha! Which restaurant would want to hire a man over forty with a big belly?
As his wife’s complaints mounted and the bills for his parents’ dications grew heavier, Chen Xing sank into desperation and ultimately chose to take another risk with Old Wang.
Even though he knew that Old Wang was primarily responsible for his current fate, he couldn’t afford to fall out with the only person who could help him now. Because if he did, he would truly have no way out.
“I hate her, of course! That woman is the reason I’ve lost everything,” Chen Xing admitted, his head bowed.
“That’s right!” Old Wang patted Chen Xing’s shoulder happily and continued, “No matter how you look at it, that woman’s a criminal. What are you afraid of? And she’s so beautiful. After we get the money, maybe we can have so fun with her, hehehe…”
Old Wang was already a little drunk and began to imagine what he would do after capturing such a beauty. He had never t anyone as beautiful as her in his life; it would be a sha not to have fun with her at least a few tis.
Chen Xing rely bowed his head silently. After a mont, he stood up and said, “I’ll go see him and try to squeeze a few words out of him.”
Old Wang swayed in his chair. “Heh, just be gentle with him. Don’t kill the boy; I haven’t had enough fun yet.”
Chen Xing’s hands trembled slightly as he nodded gently in response without looking back. He walked into the darkness.
Feeling tipsy, Old Wang began to hum a little tune.
