Ch.163 The Ultimate Victor… Is Us.
Auros’s words contradicted the ga’s original lore.
“The Gates of Hell…”
In the ga, this was endga content—unlocked only after all Seal Stones were protected.
Once the main story concluded and players had nothing left to hunt, two final zones appeared: Heaven and Hell.
But at the re ntion of the Gates of Hell opening, goosebumps erupted down my spine.
“Could it be… does Hell have multiple layers?”
I asked Auros, half-hoping I was wrong.
“Oh? How do you know about that?”
His reply froze my mind blank.
Has this world really been destroyed once before?
I now felt certain: if I hadn’t intervened, this world had already fallen once.
But… has my presence actually changed anything?
Honestly, the situation is bleak.
A final boss with regression chanics—sothing I’ve never heard of.
Plus, all these insane won fawning over … I might end up dismbered.
If anything, my arrival might’ve made things worse.
For now, I had to focus on the imdiate issue: the shattered Seal Stone and the opening Gates of Hell.
“Then… is there any way to close the Gates of Hell?”
Auros frowned thoughtfully before replying.
“It’s not impossible.”
“So at least we can avoid the worst-case scenario I know of.”
He shook his head.
“The opening of the Gates ans demons and the Demon King are crossing over—not weakened by dinsional magic, but in their true, full power.”
Scarlet raised a question.
“The Demon King was weakened?”
“Indeed. His power is so imnse that dinsional magic severely limits him.”
“My… my goodness…”
Auros’s words reminded
of the Epic-tier Demon King I’d faced in Hell.
I’d assud it was just recycled boss content…
But was that actually the real Demon King?
“Th—then what do we do if the Demon King appears?”
Scarlet’s trembling voice made
shrug casually.
“We shove him back into Hell.”
But wait—did the Epic Demon King fall under Equality’s effect? Would the true Demon King?
And what about Epic Auros?
Suspicious, I asked Auros,
“Are there dead souls in Hell? I an those who died before Lord Roy’s resurrection?”
“Hmm… All souls who committed grave sins in life reside there.”
So that’s why you were in Hell in the original tiline?
But Epic Auros exists even in tilines where ‘Dragon War’ never occurred.
Was he just added as flavor content since it’s a ga?
“Hmm…”
No clear answer erged.
“So… is there really a way to close the Gates?”
“Only if the gods intervene.”
“Will the gods step in?”
He shook his head.
“I don’t know. But souls in Hell revive endlessly—they possess eternal life.”
“Then… what do we do once the Seal Stone is broken?”
All eyes turned to
at Leah’s question—but I had no brilliant solution either.
I turned hopefully to Cecilia.
“Can’t we reseal it?”
She replied bitterly,
“The legend of the Seal Stones has existed since ancient tis—but there’s no record of what to do once they’re broken.”
“So…”
Now I understood why breaking the Seal Stone ant ga over.
It ant the world could never return to how it was.
Hence—ga over.
Could the Imperial Capital share a similar condition?
I asked Auros,
“I recall that if the Imperial Capital falls, it’s ga over—do you know why?”
“Because of the Archive of the Covenant. If the proof of the gods’ pact with humanity is destroyed, humans lose access to divine power—and the godly strength you wield will vanish as well.”
Everything finally clicked—and cold dread ran down my spine.
Why?
Because I genuinely feared this world might truly end.
I’d thought this before, but now the worst-case scenario felt terrifyingly close.
—Knock knock.
Just then, a knock sounded at the door.
“Co in.”
The door opened, and Aria entered with Aria and Mia behind her.
“Oh? What’s everyone doing here?”
Mia looked surprised…
“Long ti no see, my Lord.”
“Yes, Lady Aria. You grow more beautiful by the day.”
“Thank you for the complint.”
At that mont, Aria bowed deeply to Auros.
“Hello, Grandpa.”
“Well, hello there, my dear Aria! Have you been well?”
“Hehe! I’ve been playing poker!”
Auros’s face visibly paled.
“P—poker? Gambling?”
“Umm… it’s not gambling!”
How is poker not gambling?
Aria’s misleading words made Aria pat her head and clarify,
“She’s playing cookie-wager poker—no money involved. Nothing to worry about.”
“I… I see? I nearly thought a gambling dragon had appeared.”
“That would never happen. I’m watching over her.”
“Heh heh. Good to hear.”
Mia sat beside Scarlet and scanned the room.
“But what are you all doing here?”
“We just pushed back the enemy—so we’ll stay here for a while.”
“We want to relax comfortably too.”
At Scarlet and Leah’s words, Mia’s expression soured slightly.
Was she… displeased?
“I didn’t want to co, but I ca because of my Bibi doll.”
“Bibi doll?”
Cecilia, seeing Mia’s confusion, glanced at Leah.
“Leah, could you get my Dora for ?”
“Ugh. Annoying.”
Though she complained, Leah soon waved her hand and pulled a Bibi doll from her spatial bag.
“Here.”
“Oh?”
Cecilia presented an 8-head-proportion doll made of a strange new material.
Her eyes sparkled as she asked,
“Isn’t she pretty?”
“What’s it made of? Doesn’t look like wood.”
Mia tapped the doll curiously.
“Watch closely, Mia. This doll…”
Cecilia bent its limbs into a sitting pose and placed it on her palm.
“Can do this!”
Everyone stared at Cecilia’s proud expression with odd looks.
But… how old are you again? Still playing with dolls?
Everyone probably thought the sa as I did.
In this world, dolls were considered toys for young girls.
Except for Aria, everyone regarded Cecilia with mild pity.
“Sister! What’s that? It’s so cool!”
“Do you want to touch it, Aria?”
“Yeah! Show
too!”
Aria ran to Cecilia and hugged her.
“ too!
too!”
“Don’t break it, okay?”
Cecilia handed it over carefully.
Aria nodded eagerly.
“Got it! Got it!”
The girl bead as she took it.
“It’s so pretty! Mom! Buy
one!”
“We have lots like this at ho.”
“But we don’t have one like this!”
Aria turned the doll over curiously.
“Hmm. It’s oddly shaped. Saint, where did you get this?”
Cecilia answered proudly,
“Father Hans bought it for .”
Mia turned away with a cold expression.
“Hans did?”
Her voice icy, I quickly interjected,
“Haha! Mia, what’s wrong? Friends can give each other gifts, right?”
“Ahem! Ahem!”
Cecilia shot
a sharp look and coughed aningfully.
“Aria, give that to Mom for a mont.”
As Aria examined the doll, Aria asked ,
“What’s this made of? Doesn’t seem like wood or tal.”
Seizing the chance to change the subject,
“Oh, that’s made from rubber imported from the New Continent—crafted by the Alchemists’ Guild.”
Alchemists had used rubber to create a plastic-like material, which they then used to make dolls.
Aria carefully felt the limbs.
“Human alchemy has advanced impressively while I wasn’t looking. Where is this sold?”
Perhaps because Aria wanted one, Aria asked about where to buy it.
“It’s sold at the Pisa Doll Shop—but it’s a bit expensive.”
“I expect as much. A new material like this would cost more. Aria, let’s go buy one together later.”
“Hehe! Yay!”
Lucky kid—her mom’s rich.

After so friendly chat, Auros returned to his lair.
I, citing heavy workloads, kicked everyone out, then instructed the kitchen staff to prepare a hearty dinner for our guests.
“Gates of Hell, huh… If they open, we’re screwed.”
Hell—a place where damned souls reside.
Even if we kill them, they revive endlessly.
Well… since it’s eternal tornt, revival makes sense.
“The real problem is them trying to escape through the Gates.”
And there’s the issue of Epic bosses.
I’d heard that once Lord Roy’s seal breaks, everyone dies—confird.
“My head hurts.”
No—let’s face reality calmly.
Roy pulled his army from the Imperial Capital.
That freed up my own resources.
I can now summon Scarlet, Leah, and Cecilia.
anwhile, Roy’s mid-tier bosses are all dead.
I heard Davinus was slain by Aria too.
Now he stands alone.
Whereas we’ve only grown stronger.
“We really need to win this ti…”
Aria said it’ll take about a week to finish the magic spell Leah needs.
So we have a thod of suppression.
But the problem is…
“How am I supposed to ‘seduce’ her?!”
I’ve never seduced anyone in my life.
I’m a playboy, sure—but who exactly am I supposed to charm?
I may be adored by crazy won, but I’ve never tried to seduce them.
Honestly, I never expected a hopeless romantic like
to be drowning in female attention…
“Why am I stuck like this when I don’t understand won at all?!”
Frustrated, I grabbed my hair.
“Sigh… Could it be so isekai cheat skill like ‘Be obsessively desired by emotionally unstable won’?”
It’s a reasonable suspicion.
“If that exists, seducing Selena would be trivial.”
Then again, she wouldn’t have ambushed
to kill
in the first place.
“Enough. I’ll deal with the complicated stuff later.”
I flopped onto the sofa and took a nap.
***
Davinus summoned his army to the final Seal Stone.
This would be the last, fiercest battle.
“Once I shatter the Seal Stone, victory is mine.”
If the Gates of Hell open, the human realm will descend into chaos.
Countless demons, monsters, and damned souls will flood through.
Killing them is pointless—they revive in Hell.
Humanity will inevitably fall to endless waves.
Even if we sohow seal the Gates, we can’t stop the Demon King.
This won’t be a weakened version crossing over—but the Demon King at full power.
Not even the Hero Party could guarantee victory.
With heroes at their current level, defeat is certain.
anwhile, the King of the Dead seeks to unseal the Demon King.
“The ultimate victor… is us.”
