[Demon Realm, Cave of Destruction]

Xiong Zi Ying appeared to be on the brink of losing himself completely. His breathing was heavy and filled with an ominous energy; his aura radiated dark hues of red, purple, and black, giving him the appearance of a malevolent being. At that mont, he bore a striking resemblance to the demon race.

His hair was a wild mix of white and pink, looking unkempt and dried out, as if he had neglected it for ages. His robe hung in tatters, revealing the well-defined muscles of his physique beneath.

Intricate tattoos of peach blossoms traced across his body, starting from the left side of his neck and winding down to his right chest before trailing even further.

Though his upper body resembled that of a human, the lower half was strikingly different; he possessed a slender, pale pink tail akin to that of a serpent. From his back, delicate wings resembling the petals of a peach blossom unfurled, and his ears pointed slightly, hinting at an otherworldly heritage. This appearance mirrored the last ti she had seen him, just before he was seized by Shen Xian. (Ch. 805)

The sole difference now was the twisted malice etched across his once handso features, as if he were itching to unleash havoc on anything that crossed his path.

The twenty n surrounding him seed oblivious to her presence, their attention entirely fixated on the demonic figure who had rcilessly taken the lives of many of their comrades.

"Xiong Zi Ying, you demon! After slaughtering countless of our kin, you will not et a swift end!"

"Initially, our goal was to extract your Immortal Bone and Celestial Veins, allowing us to end your life in a manner that was, at least, comfortable. But your defiance has left us no choice! Don’t claim we are heartless!"

"You stand alone against twenty of us. Even if you should sohow prevail, we cannot guarantee the safety of your loved ones. They remain trapped in a cold prison, anxiously awaiting good news; will their hearts not ache if you remain steadfastly obstinate?"

Such a blatant threat!

Xiong Zi Ying’s expression contorted with rage and hatred. He was undeniably powerful, yet he was ensnared in the sches of these wretched n, with his loved ones’ fates dangling in their hands.

"Submit, and we promise it will be painless. If you give us what we desire, we will release your loved ones unscathed, ensuring your own survival."

Each of them displayed a false kindness, as if they were performing an imnse service for the world.

Shenlian Yingyue’s face grew colder, her disbelief at their words almost unbearable.

Immortal Bone? Celestial Veins?

An Immortal Bone forms within individuals destined for immortality; those chosen sons and daughters of the heavens from hidden clans and powerful factions in the Upper realms often possess such a bone.

The Immortal Bone is akin to spiritual roots but holds greater uniqueness. A person born with an Immortal Bone can ascend to beco an Immortal, even with a weaker spiritual root. In contrast, an individual with a poor spiritual root, devoid of the Immortal Bone, faces a lifeti of limitations, never achieving immortality.

Typically, those born with Immortal Bone are also accompanied by unique spiritual roots. Xiong Zi Ying, for instance, was gifted with the Legendary Spiritual Root of the Flower elent, permitting him to cultivate at an astonishing pace compared to ordinary practitioners.

Once the Immortal Bone was forcibly extracted, the agony felt as if one’s very soul and flesh were being torn apart. The individual would be rendered powerless, and in the worst-case scenario, they would perish in a pitiful state; no treasure in existence could salvage them from such a fate.

As for the Celestial Veins, they represented the extraordinary ridians through which Qi and spiritual energy flowed with unparalleled effectiveness.

Removing the Celestial Veins from a person was akin to committing murder while they still drew breath. One could hardly fathom the heart-wrenching, soul-crushing pain of having one’s veins forcibly taken while remaining conscious and aware.

Finding soone blessed with the Immortal Bone, Legendary Spiritual Root, and Celestial Veins was like searching for a needle in an ocean.

She had never encountered anyone as unscrupulous as this group. If she shared their bloodline, she would be ashad to show her face. How could they be such hypocrites, acting with such false righteousness while indulging in such shalessness?

"You Shenlian Clan are truly despicable. Hounding from the Upper World to this Demon Realm for my Immortal Bone and Celestial Veins, threatening the lives of my loved ones while pretending to be virtuous; aren’t you ashad before your ancestors, pathetic curs?" Xiong Zi Ying laughed mockingly as he effortlessly snapped the neck of the man he held in his grip. Disgusted, he felt sick enough to vomit.

The faces of the onlookers turned a sickly green and blue with sha, yet their countenance remained as solid as a wall. This was not the first ti Xiong Zi Ying had berated them, and they shafully refused to acknowledge their transgressions as they continued to press him towards the vortex’s edge.

Shenlian Yingyue stood frozen in place. Her companions were just as astonished by her master’s words.

She quickly turned to examine the silver letters elegantly stitched onto the left sleeves of each of the twenty mbers surrounding them, her gaze drifting to the pile of corpses, all bearing the illustrious surna ’Shenlian’ on their traditional attire.

A flood of dizziness overwheld her, like an electric shock, as if a loud detonation resounded in her skull. Attempting to focus, she gazed at their faces, but they remained obscured as they turned their backs to her.

As she sensed that they were about to take further action against her master, a surge of determination propelled her forward. She dashed into the fray, standing defiantly in front of him, a shield against the twenty figures.

The unexpected move caught everyone off guard. Who was this woman?

Even Xiong Zi Ying was taken aback by her sudden intervention. Xiong Yi Chen, on the other hand, felt a surge of irritation, eager to scold her for her recklessness. Unlike his brother, who was consud by rage, he had noticed her arrival long before.

He wanted to showcase the disgraceful behavior of her clan, curious to see how she would react; but her rashness interrupted his plans.

"How dare a lowly woman interfere with our mission?" one of them barked, glaring at her with contempt, dismissing her as rely a late-stage True Immortal cultivator.
