anwhile, in the heart of Demon City, the air crackled with mounting tension. In the center of the street, two figures stood, their presence forcing a wide berth from the crowd that surrounded them.

"I’ve decided to spare you, at least for the mont," Shi Ji spoke, his voice calm yet laced with an undercurrent of nace as his blue eyes fixed on her.

"But I must admit, I can’t resist the urge to indulge in a little more of your company. How about I introduce you to sothing... exhilarating? Though, I suspect it might be a challenge for you to make it out alive, I feel compelled to test your limits. Consider this your punishnt for ddling in our affairs; you’ve gotten yourself labeled as a nuisance, human." His expression remained inscrutable, but the flicker of sothing deeper in his eyes hinted at the enigma he truly was, more complex than anyone dared to believe.

A dark intuition stirred within Shenlian Yingyue, prompting her to shake off the sensation. There was an overwhelming urge to flee from Shi Ji, causing her heart to race. But why? It wasn’t his strength that frightened her; instead, a chilling unease crept around her neck. What could this feeling be?

Even though her heart raced, she maintained an unyielding calm. To show fear in the face of her enemies would be to concede her strength and resolve.

"Cat got your tongue?" Shi Ji asked, an eyebrow raised in confusion. Her silence was dull, and he found it rather dull.

But her quietude only seed to provoke him further. His usual impassive facade cracked as a hint of irritation escaped in a chuckle. With a flourish, he raised his hand to the heavens, releasing a flurry of azure sparks into the air. They shimred and cascaded down like radiant fireworks, scattering across the city in brilliant flashes of light.

She watched, montarily taken aback by his unexpected display. A quick glance over her shoulder confird that her brother, husbands, and companions had all vanished; the center of the city was deserted, not a soul in sight.

Understanding that her brother and everyone didn’t want her fretting about their safety during the confrontation, they had wisely retreated at the first hint of danger. Though they were out of view, she felt their presence close by, grateful for their support and understanding.

Her thoughts were swiftly pulled back to the scene unraveling before her. A stark contrast unfolded in the blizzard: a whirlwind of ice that slashed against her like thousands of tiny blades.

Erging from the icy storm was a monstrous figure. Long, crystalline horns adorned its head, while six arms and two legs bore its formidable weight. Four eyes glinted with malice, and its elongated fangs protruded nacingly. A serpent-like tail swayed as two vast wings unfurled, the creature lding seamlessly with the blizzard, as if born from its fury.

The sheer might radiating from this beast was overwhelming, a clear indication that victory was not within her grasp.

"How do you find this little punishnt?" Shi Ji taunted, standing beside the fearso creature, a peculiar look in his eyes. "This is but a small one of my brood. I’d prefer you not to perish too quickly, so I’ve summoned the weakest of my creatures to entertain you. Normally, I keep them from battling humans, but for you, I’m making an exception. However, I want to summon one more of my creation beside this one."

Perhaps it was rely her imagination, but she could have sworn she witnessed a playful yet sinister smile flicker across his stoic face, only to vanish in a heartbeat amidst the swirling cold mist. When her gaze returned to him, the expression of Demon King Shi remained steadfast and authoritative.

"Is he really going to unleash ’it’ on her? Does he intend to obliterate her very essence?"

"The last ti it was unleashed in the Demon Realm, it left five of the strongest Upper Rank Demons in shambles after it spiraled out of control."

"It also claid the lives of three cultivators from the Upper World."

"One of this icy monster is too much for a re human to handle, and now, our king plans to summon one more of his ’creation’?"

The demons stood speechless, and a chilling fear gripped them as they contemplated Shenlian Yingyue’s potential fate. The scenario was too horrific to visualize, yet they felt a morbid anticipation for such a bloody spectacle. Still, they held reservations about this ’entity’ losing control once more.

"Could Shi Ji actually be aiming to annihilate this low-ranking planet?" Bi Xie, the Demon Prince Xie, mused while stroking her chin thoughtfully.

Yao’s eyes shimred with an enigmatic light as he surveyed the slender figure caught in the tempest. Jade Orchid and the others exchanged glances filled with uncertainty.

Shenlian Yinzhu, Zhiyi, Jun Mu Yang, and Bing Xue listened intently, their brows furrowing in concern. They were all too aware of the strength of Upper World cultivators; even those at the apex of Crossing Disaster here had perished at the hands of this ’thing’?

Her divine sense was relentlessly active, ever alert to her surroundings. Upon hearing such daunting information, she readied her black sword at a mont’s notice, but she would refrain from utilizing that dark fla unless absolutely necessary.

’The weakest of his creations?’ she rehearsed the words in her mind. With every discussion that unfolded around her, her jaw tightened further.

And then, as if echoing her thoughts, the weakest of Shi Ji’s ’baby’ began to materialize.

An entity materialized from the demon realm, casting an unnatural darkness across the skies, as if the sun itself had cowered in primal terror. Blue and purple lightning crackled ominously, sounding not like thunder, but rather the anguished cries of tornted souls. The atmosphere thickened, heavy with the acrid scent of ash and brimstone. The ground quaked violently beneath them, fissuring open to unleash rivers of molten rock, the eerie, blood-red glow spilling across the horizon.

A suffocating silence preceded the cacophony of this creature’s arrival, broken only by the faint whispers of disembodied voices, begging for rcy. The world seed to hold its breath, and then, with a deafening roar, the entity stepped into the Mortal Realm, its presence ripping reality apart.
