The attack by the Celestial Heavenly Store took less than an hour, catching everyone by surprise.

However, their retaliation was far from over. On the contrary, it was only the beginning.

In the eastern part of the Magma Plain lay a vast land filled with richness and abundant resources.

Within this expanse, rare streams and rivers could be found, thriving with fish and other aquatic life.

Water was a rarity on the Magma Plain, and its discovery was often by chance.

However, it was a common occurrence in this part of the land.

This land belonged to the uncrowned overlords of the Magma Plain—the Necoris.

The Tugon Kingdom.

At the heart of this vast land was a thriving city filled with towering buildings.

The Tugon imperial capital housed many races apart from the Necoris. The most common were human slaves, bound in shackles.

Stay connected through empire

Mixed-race individuals were less common but still present.

At the center of the capital stood a magnificent building that dwarfed all others.

Its grandeur was jaw-dropping.

The Necoris Palace was a symbol of the Necoris' pride and dominance over other races.

Inside the palace hall, King Remnots was being served by three beautiful human slaves dressed in scanty outfits.

"Even though you humans are won, you're best used as toys," he sneered, squeezing one of the won's breasts roughly.

The girl whimpered in pain but forced a seductive smile.

Watching the pain behind her pretense was one of King Remnots' rare pleasures.

He slapped another girl's buttocks, pushing her aside, and gazed out toward the horizon.

"Ah! I can't wait for the humans to kill themselves," he grinned. "How great would that be?"

Suddenly, a powerful tremor shook the Necoris capital, and an unknown fear gnawed at the hearts of even the most powerful Necoris.

King Remnots reacted swiftly, sending the three won flying as he disappeared from his throne.

In the blink of an eye, he reappeared in the airspace above the palace, a deep frown etched on his face.

"Who are you?!" he bellowed, his voice echoing throughout the capital.

"Show yourself now before I find you!"

It had been so long since anyone dared plot against the Necoris that he couldn't even recall the last ti.

And today, it wouldn't begin again.

"What's that?"

The pedestrians turned their heads toward a rapidly approaching black dot in the distance.

Though the object was still over ten kiloters away, everyone could feel deep in their bones that whatever was coming was no good.

Before the king or anyone else could react, the black dot was already above the capital.

"M-My… My…!"

"Heavens!"

Everyone who saw the black object was terrified to their core.

King Remnots wore a grave expression as the black dot revealed itself. Instantly, his scales began to glow as if set ablaze.

His height increased, his muscles grew sturdier, and the air twisted violently around him. The temperature spiked sharply.

Even with his enhanced strength, an ominous feeling told him it wouldn't be enough.

But the black dot gave him no ti to prepare or reflect.

"Die!" King Remnots roared, throwing a powerful punch.

The aura from his fist destroyed everything in its path.

The once-magnificent palace was reduced to rubble from the shockwave alone.

The sky filled with fiery flas, as though the heavens themselves were ablaze.

The black dot, revealed to be a horrifying punch, collided with the fiery flas.

Boom!

There was no elaborate explosion. The punch shattered the fiery flas into oblivion and continued forward.

"What?!" Remnots' eyes widened in disbelief as he quickly adopted a defensive stance.

Bang!

The punch struck him, sending him flying over a thousand ters. No one could tell whether he was dead or alive.

As for the pedestrians and hidden Necoris experts, they were stupefied.

None could believe what had just transpired.

Their king, who had always been invincible in their eyes, was defeated by a punch sent from over ten kiloters away.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, several powerful Necoris stepped out of hiding, their auras shooting into the sky.

Tension gripped the air, and fear suffocated the hearts of the slaves.

What is going on?

Who dares attack the Necoris capital?

Just then, a cold, arrogant voice echoed.

"How dare you ants plot against the store?"

Above the capital, a human dressed in an ordinary Daoist robe stood proudly.

He gazed at the Necoris as though they were nothing more than ants.

Under his gaze, all the Necoris felt an imnse weight pressing down on them.

The weaker ones collapsed, losing consciousness.

From the depths of the palace, an elderly Necoris erged from a coffin, his expression grim.

Despite his apparent age, his voice carried authority as he spoke:

"Leave now, and I won't hold you accountable for this."

His voice, though low, reverberated throughout the capital.

"Oh? An old relic still alive?" Deng Kun sneered before throwing a powerful punch.

The punch tore through the air, breaking the sound barrier.

Before the old Necoris could react, the punch was already upon him.

"T-This power…!" his heart trembled in shock and despair.

Boom!

The Necoris ancestor was sent flying, his brittle bones shattered.

With the last ounce of his strength, he looked at Deng Kun, filled with regret.

He should have stayed in his coffin and ignored the chaos above.

But there was no redy for regret.

With the death of their ancestor, the Necoris were left in despair and confusion.

Where did this human co from?

The Necoris had been at war with the human race for as long as they could rember, yet they had never encountered such a powerful expert.

Their confusion deepened.

Deng Kun, however, was unconcerned with their thoughts. Raising his hand, he conjured a massive, powerful palm in the sky.

"No one attacks the store and lives to tell the tale," he muttered, releasing the palm strike.

Like divine judgnt, the massive palm descended upon the Necoris capital.

"We're dood!"

That was the only thought in their minds. And indeed, they were dood.

It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the ones most responsive to change.
