The sun rose from the east, shining brightly, marking the birth of a new day.
Pedestrians appeared on the quiet street, with rchants setting up their stores.
Under the fresh morning breeze, a thick tension hung in the sky.
Even though many people chose not to talk about it, they saw the circular ten-story building.
They would sigh and avoid getting close to the building.
But then, sothing caught their sight. Right in front of the ten-story building was a naplate.
The calligraphy on the naplate was so eye-catching and powerful that it would compel people to look at it twice.
Celestial Heavenly Store.
For a couple of seconds, everyone that saw the na was stunned. First, they were stunned by the powerful calligraphy. Second, the arrogant na of the store.
Who the hell would na their store Celestial Heavenly Store?
The domineering na of the store quickly spread throughout the city.
Both the inner city and outer city were in upheaval. Everyone was discussing the store nas.
Everyone knew who was the owner of the store and wondered where the Cao clan got their confidence from.
Just as people were gossiping about the domineering na, all the tens of Celestial Heavenly stores in both the inner city and outer city were opened for business.
Right in front of each store were two beautiful won, making announcents about the products of their store.
At first, people were skeptical about the absurd announcents of the won. Yet, so curious ones got closer to the won to know what they were selling.
Watching a group of people moving closer to her, the announcer smiled and gestured for the people to co closer.
The group of young n looked at each other and moved closer to the beautiful woman.
"This shouldn't invoke the wrath of the city lords and other clans, right?" They thought with a slight panic.
Watching the conscious action of the n, the woman smiled brightly.
"If you're scared of getting any closer, you can stop. That's enough for ," the woman said with an encouraging smile.
"Thank you. Can you tell what this strange ring you call…." The young man creased his brow as he tried to rember the na of the strange ring.
"It's called Spirit Comms," the woman completed his statent and showed her the ring on her left hand.
"With the Spirit Comms, you can talk to anyone in the world. No matter the distance. It's like you're talking to each other face to face, and it is not just a one-ti thing. You can use it forever."
"Impossible!" One of the n among the curious crowd shouted.
A chuckle escaped from the woman. She understood how insane it sounded, but how could just anyone comprehend the greatness of their sect master.
"Impossible for others, but not for us. Besides, the first hundred people would receive the Spirit Comms for free. Then, you can decide if what I'm saying is a lie or not," she announced.
The crowd was silent with faces full of skepticism. No matter how they thought about it, it was impossible.
Feeling the conflicted expressions on their faces, the woman gave the last push.
"If you try the Spirit Comms and find out everything was a lie, the store would give you one thousand spirit stones."
What!
The now hundreds of people widened their eyes in shock. They looked at the woman, wanting to see if she was kidding, but the serious expression told them otherwise.
A young man bit his lips and stepped forward. "I'll try the Spirit Comms."
No matter how fearso the city lord and the powerful clans were, under the allure of free one thousand spirit stones, the people disregarded the threat.
Since a person stepped forward, the second person stepped forward until one hundred people stepped forward.
All of them were young n from small families. To them, this was a rare chance to change their lives and their family's.
The woman looked at the first hundred people and smiled. "There is a clause, if you realize this was true. You must spread it throughout the city."
The hundred young n nodded.
Quickly, the woman led them into the store.
Entering the store, all the n curiously looked at everything with wide eyes.
The interior decoration of the store was the best they've seen in their life.
In front of them was a long counter with ten people, both male and female, smiling at them.
In front of each person was a small tallic construct with the Spirit Image Crystal.
"Line up in front of them. They will ask your na and look at the Spirit Image Crystal," the woman said, pointing to the strange tallic construct.
The n looked at each other confused, but still followed her instructions.
Since there were ten people behind the counter, the n divided into ten groups.
The registration was quick and simple. They only asked for their nas and clan before they presented the Spirit Comms.
Looking at the seemingly ordinary ring in their hands, the doubt in their minds rose to another level.
Seeing their doubt, the woman chuckled and said, "Put it in your hand and send your consciousness into it."
The group followed after her, and what happened next left their jaws dropped to the ground.
For the next couple of minutes, various decibels of gasps echoed inside the store.
The hundred n had tested the novelty of the Spirit Comms and were flabbergasted beyond words.
"Are you surprised?" The woman teased.
The n nodded, still dazed.
Their rational thinking was telling this was impossible, but it was right in their minds.
"Won't you test the effect of the calling?" The woman reminded.
"Yes. Yes." The n woke from stupor and looked at the woman.
Quickly, the woman taught them how to use the Spirit Comms and told half of them to move outside the city and call those in the store.
With burning passion, fifty n rushed out of the Celestial Heavenly store.
Right outside the store, a lot of people had gathered as they waited for the poison tester.
When they saw them rushing out of the store, they wanted to stop them, but the n didn't even bat an eye.
After a couple of minutes, those inside the store received a call notification in their minds one after the other.
Listening to the notification and seeing the na they used to save the unique numbers.
Their hearts pounded heavily against their chests as they answered the call.
And what follows was a pin silence that filled the store as all the n looked at each other.
