Crossing the river, Su Yen walked with a solemn expression on his face. He looked at the massive palace in the distance, and the divine aura from it was trying to suppress his pagoda bloodline.
However, the pagoda bloodline withstood it and pushed the invincible pressure back, maintaining its dominance.
Su Yen was shocked by the prowess of the pagoda bloodline; he never expected the pagoda to be able to withstand the palace divinity, let alone push it back.
His shock was fleeting, a montary interruption in the flow of his emotions before he masterfully regained his composure.
As he approached, the colossal palace lood before him, an architectural marvel that seed to touch the very heavens.
The palace gate, an awe-inspiring entrance, stood at the pinnacle of grandeur. Its imnse height was accentuated by intricately carved columns that reached skyward, adorned with symbols of regality and power.
Massive doors, embellished with glistening tallic accents, stretched wide open as if inviting him into a realm of opulence and the unknown.
The surface of the gate reflected the ambient light, creating an ethereal glow that heightened the sense of reverence. Guarding the entrance were imposing statues of mythical creatures, their stony gaze seemingly following his every move.
As he entered the gate, he disappeared. When he reappeared, he found himself inside a room the size of a basketball court.
The room had no window or door; the ceramic walls painted in silver shone brightly.
Su Yen looked around with confusion etched on his face. Just as he was lost in thought, the air in front of him shook, and a puppet appeared.
'Hmm?'
He squinted his gaze and looked at the puppet for a couple of seconds, trying to decipher what was going on.
The puppet's hollow socket brightened up, raising its sword and attacked.
Even though it was just a puppet, its movent was extrely fast. In a blink, it appeared before Su Yen and hacked its sword down.
Su Yen didn't dilly-dally and evaded the attack effortlessly, punching the puppet in the chest.

The puppet was sent flying and crashed to the ground. A deep dent appeared on its chest. The dimly lit light in its socket died off. It died in just one punch.
Imdiately, the puppet disappeared from the room.
Su Yen creased his brow, and a frown crept up his face. The puppet was of the sa realm as him, Peak of Foundation Building realm stage 10. However, the puppet couldn't withstand a single punch from him. As he was wondering what would appear next.
Whoosh!
Two powerful puppets appeared. They were in the early Core Refinent Stage.
At once, they pounced on him and attacked him from different sides.

Su Yen had already unsheathed his sword. Using his movent skill, he avoided the puppet's attack and retaliated swiftly.
"Starlight Blossom Slice - Third Form."
A powerful starlight cut through the defense of the puppet on his right.
The puppet behind him cleaved its sword down on his back.
Su Yen didn't turn and sidestepped at an extrely high speed, leaving an afterimage.
He turned and attacked.

The puppet's head was cut off from its neck.
Killing the two Core Refinent puppets, Su Yen breathed a sigh of relief. However, before he could relax, four more puppets appeared in front of him.
They were of the Interdiate Core Refinent stage.
"Hmm! So this is it…" He realized what was going on, and his gaze turned deadly sharp.
Without waiting for the puppets to attack, he rushed toward them.

He appeared in front of a puppet and struck. But this ti around, the puppet tried to evade his attack.
Still, the puppet was a bit slow for his sword strike and cut off its arm.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Instantly, three powerful sword strikes ca crashing toward him.
"Shit!" His expression turned solemn, and he used his movent skill.
Whoosh!
He appeared a couple of distances from the puppet, avoiding the attack by an inch.
"That was close!"
The puppet with only one arm didn't seem to care about its lost arm and joined the other three.
They besieged Su Yen on all sides, making it impossible for him to escape.
The four puppets attacked at the sa ti. Su Yen had a solemn expression on his face, and he used the Phantom Sky Step to the limit.

Tens of afterimages appeared in the room and were hacked into by the puppets.
The room was filled with deadly sword strikes, and the aura from the sword strikes could injure any Foundation Building realm.
However, Su Yen was dancing back and forth amid the deadly strikes as he tried to close the distance between the puppets.
Finding a narrow space between their attacks, Su Yen didn't delay and attacked.
"Starlight Blossom Slash - Fifth Form."

The sword strike whistled toward the puppet at blinding light speed and cut the puppet into two.
With one down, the puppet tight formation was breaking.
Su Yen didn't try to evade their attack. He confronted.
Attack against Attack.
The three puppets attacked at the sa ti. The air twisted, and the deadly humming sword attack speed toward him.
"Three Resonance Thunderstrike."
He raised his sword above his head and hacked it down.
The air crackled with powerful thunder, filled with deadly sharpness.
The three puppets didn't have any chance as the Thunderstrike ramd into their bodies.
They were flung into the distance, scorched black, and scattered like a piece of junk.
Huff!
Su Yen's breathing was erratic, beads of sweat dripped from his forehead. The last battle had taken a toll on him.
As he was preparing for the next round of attack, a pure spiritual energy rushed into his body.
This was not just any ordinary spiritual energy that could be found on any mortal world.
The Spiritual Energy contained a higher plane energy. It was so profound that he couldn't compare it with anything.
In a blink, he had a breakthrough.
He had beco a Core Refinent expert.
