In the midst of hurried footsteps.

The Void Palace was boundless, and apart from the floor overhead, the walls on both sides seed to move closer and then farther away, making it feel more like walking through a very wide corridor than a palace.

"The second token," said Song Danhao as he withdrew his hand from the wall in front of him.

The pitch-black and hard wall was indistinguishable from the surrounding walls.

But as he pulled his hand away, the wall surface rippled like water, creating waves upon the solid facade.

"Let’s go, keep moving forward."

He took a deep breath.

"This is the second one, we need to get two more to pass the Snowman King’s test and make it to the innermost part."

"Is this also from your reincarnation mories?" Xu Ling asked in surprise.

"Yes."

Song Danhao nodded.

"Follow , I have so mories of this place now."

He walked confidently forward, heading deeper inside.

A thin layer of ice covered the palace floor, and stalactites began to appear on the stone ceiling a hundred ters above.

Everyone felt a little hair-raising tension as Song Danhao led the way with a torch in hand, followed by Xu Ling, then Gongshang Baiyu in third place.

Lin Yaoyang brought up the rear.

Each of them was preoccupied with their own thoughts, wondering about Song Danhao’s origins and why so many sects were after him.

They also pondered why he seed so familiar with such a hazardous relic.

With doubts surfacing at such a critical juncture, they could no longer afford to deliberately ignore them, as they might have done before.

They proceeded quietly until suddenly a massive, octopus-like flesh mound appeared on the ground ahead.

The brownish-gray lump on the floor looked like a small hillock that slowly raised an octopus head.

This huge octopus had six eyes, which, in the darkness, appeared like six bloody holes, viciously intimidating.

Song Danhao stopped more than ten ters away from the giant octopus.

"This is a Void Mantle Demon King. The third token we need is in its mouth. This is also part of the test; we must reach into its mouth with our own hands to retrieve it," he said calmly, as a purple-black symbol slowly appeared on his forehead.

Xu Ling knew that if Song Danhao was usually frivolous, his calm and indifferent voice now signaled he was entering an intense state of confrontation.

"I’ll do it."

She glanced at Gongshang Baiyu, who was pale and still recovering from blood loss, and at Lin Yaoyang who seed stable but was actually distracted.

Decisively, she took a step forward.

"No need."

Song Danhao stepped forward and gently reached out his hand. The giant octopus willingly spat out the token into his palm.

"Let’s go, to the next one, to get the last token and the last place we can leave from," he said as he walked past the octopus, moving forward.

After the octopus spat out the token, it lay back down, rging with the floor and disappearing.

The three exchanged looks; this wasn’t a test anymore. With little else to consider, they quickly followed Song Danhao.

Elsewhere in the corridors of the Void Palace.

Boom!

A wall was smashed through. Several monks clad in green robes entered cautiously, each gripping swords and other weapons.

The Green Lake Mountain group had been navigating the underground palace for so ti, only to find themselves at a dead end in front.

Lin Xin made a decisive call and broke through the wall.

With his fifth rank, and over eight thousand points of strength attribute, comparable to other Divine Beast and Divine Child bloodlines fad for their strength, he managed to bust straight through, creating a direct passage.

"This should be the main corridor now."

Feng Huai followed Lin Xin into the passage, looking around.

Darkness enveloped the corridor.

With a swish, a team mber ignited a torch, and the dim yellow light instantly illuminated the surroundings.

Awooo!

Suddenly, a dark figure lunged from the side, charging straight at the monk holding the torch.

The two closest drew their swords, their magic artifacts glowing with a faint green light, ruthlessly slicing the shadow into several pieces in an instant.

Just as the pieces fell to the ground, still writhing, a white light enveloped them, purifying the shadowy figure completely.

In a mont, the figure let out a feeble scream and disintegrated into wisps of black smoke.

"One attribute point." Lin Xin was surprised to see his free attributes increase by one.

"It’s a Nightmare Realm shadow, most likely to spawn in places shrouded in eternal darkness. Everyone, form a barrier to isolate it!" commanded Zheng Rong in a low voice.

Imdiately, the eight remaining monks sprung into action, circling Feng Huai and Lin Xin several tis, with their artifacts producing a dust-like flurry of runes.

All the runes vanished in a flash in mid-air.

Lin Xin imdiately felt as if sothing had been added to him, akin to an armor-like spell thod.

"Can spell thods be used here?" he asked, perplexed.

"This is through the power of magic artifacts, similar to the bloodline power within our bodies, except it’s the magic artifact’s bloodline power. It can be used as well," explained Feng Huai.

"Magic artifacts can be used too?"

Lin Xin squinted his eyes.

By this ti, the other cultivators had already set up the formation, and the surroundings slowly brightened up as if there were so shimring veils floating and encircling the air.

Lin Xin reached out and touched it—it was icy cold, just like the fog of early morning, intangible yet with temperature.

The white light emitted by the veils illuminated the surroundings, making an area of more than twenty ters in radius clearly visible.

"Huang Le, junior apprentice brother," he said without further ado, looking at a young-looking male cultivator in the team.

The man stepped forward and gently sniffed the ground.

"This direction has the most vitality; it must have been the path taken by the most people. I sll Du Qijun’s scent."

Huang Le was the best tracker in the team because he was not purely of the Human Race but a half-wolf demon with Moon Wolf bloodline.

Whilst Feng Huai was also a tracking expert, he was more focused on examining traces.

At the mont, he deliberately kept a low profile, as if preparing sothing, no longer acting as the leader and letting Lin Xin take his place. Clearly, he had so plans.

Lin Xin didn’t mind. So far, Feng Huai hadn’t done anything to displease him and seed like soone worth befriending.

He was also relatively fair in his dealings, unlike other Fifth Rank cultivators who were old and cunning, scheming endlessly.

As long as it was to his advantage, that was all that mattered.

The group rushed through the palace for over ten minutes when they gradually began to hear the clashing sounds of weapons and the occasional roaring of snown.

The speed of the group instantly increased.

Soon, a group of black-clad foreign cultivators appeared in the darkness ahead, embroiled in a fierce battle with five snown, each with a silver shield embedded in their chest.

The snown, each as large as the Wang Family’s guard snown, possessed formidable strength.

Each of their blows was not only powerful but also accompanied by a layer of faint yellow halo that surged on their fists.

"Pure force fluctuations, if they also have undying bodies, then these snown are very troubleso!" Feng Huai narrowed his eyes, "Lin Brother, do you have confidence?"

The black-clad group was clearly on the verge of collapse, protecting a young woman in their midst, desperately delaying and retreating while fighting.

It was unclear why the snown were relentlessly pursuing them, refusing to let them go.

"Look at that woman being protected; she seems to have sothing in her arms," Zheng Rong said in a low voice.

"Don’t waste ti. Who will fetch it?" Lin Xin said indifferently. He was accustod to giving orders in the Underworld, so he naturally spoke up here, and surprisingly, no one found it inappropriate.

"I’ll go," Zheng Rong volunteered. With a stomp of his foot, he imdiately charged towards the group of black-clad cultivators.

His speed was exceedingly fast, reaching behind the black-clad cultivators in just a few blinks of an eye. He whispered a few words to the group, who hesitated until two more of them were crushed to death by the snown, finally making up their minds and moving towards Lin Xin’s side.

Lin Xin stepped forward, and the Red Flower Sword quivered slightly. It suddenly flew out, circling a group of snown.

A flash of white light passed, and the snown fell to the ground with miserable howls, turning into countless powder fragnts.

"They’re not the Wang Family’s guards, just slightly stronger than usual."

Lin Xin shook his head slightly.

The leader of the black-clad group was brought over, with an extrely cautious expression, standing carefully in front of Lin Xin.

"Thank you for the rescue. It turns out to be the esteed brothers from Green Lake Mountain."

Green Lake Mountain was a leading Sect in the Mortal Realm, a hegemonic force.

Its disciples were also carefully selected, with both qualifications and background taken into account, so the cultivators who ventured out had so of the highest average cultivations.

Naturally, this also led to a kind of halo effect; ntioning Green Lake Mountain was synonymous with elitism and strength.

"This is a Snowman King’s Tear that we acquired by chance. Thank you for your assistance, brother. We are from Fengtian Sect of Nanyang State, and these are so of the magic weapons we brought with us.

The true human brothers and sisters are only the four of us here."

The leader, the female cultivator who had been protected, bowed her head reverently and dared not look more at Lin Xin, Feng Huai, and the others.

She also handed over the black crystal stone in her hand to another cultivator standing by her side.

"Have you seen people from the Four Seas Fairy Mountains?"

Lin Xin didn’t even glance at the Snowman King’s Tear; he had seven or eight of those in his possession already from the slaughter along the way.

The key now was to find his foolish sister first and understand how she had co here. This place was too dangerous; he had to ensure her safety first.

As for Feng Huai’s goal and the mission of their group, those were secondary.

"We saw them; they went to the innermost part, following the group that entered first," the female cultivator quickly said. "Just about an hour ago."

"Let’s go."

Lin Xin and his group quickly left, returning the Snowman King’s Tear to the female cultivator. However, the silver shields that had been embedded in the chests of the five slain snown were stripped away and taken by the people from Green Lake Mountain.

The female cultivator watched as the group left, just about to turn and leave as well.

Boom!!

A thunderous noise suddenly ca from behind.

She quickly turned to look back.

She saw a Wang Family’s guard snowman, eight ters tall, neatly bisected from head to toe by a white light.

The explosive noise was from another guard snowman bursting apart.

The male leader from Green Lake Mountain had four bodies lying helter-skelter by his side at this mont, slowly sheathing his sword.

So strong...!

She swallowed nervously, her throat growing sowhat dry.

The other fellow disciples dared not look any longer.

"Let’s go!" they urged.

The group hurried towards the exit of the Void Palace.
