Bai Yiran looked at the share transfer docunt, which detailed 9.8% of Huai International’s shares.
"Are these Uncle Lin and Uncle Shi’s shares?"
"Yes, that’s right," Leng Yichen nodded.
"They previously held onto these shares tightly; why would they sell now?"
When ntioning these two people, Leng Yichen’s eyes flashed coldly. In truth, if the series of power struggles hadn’t happened before, Leng Yichen might not have gone to such extres. The main issue was that they tead up to make things difficult for Bai Yiran during the Leng Family’s dire tis. This was sothing Leng Yichen couldn’t tolerate no matter what.
"They misappropriated the company’s public funds, and this money has to be repaid. They don’t intend to sell their shares and want to find other ans to raise the money." Leng Yichen said to Bai Yiran in a low voice, "But, as you know, most of the so-called family, friends, and business partners in this circle are very pragmatic. They’ve lost their power and ended up in prison — who would care about those relationships?"
Bai Yiran looked at Leng Yichen’s justified expression and teased with a smile, "It’s not that nobody cares, it’s likely that because of your word, Mr. Leng, no one dares to care, right?"
The power struggle within Huai International caused quite a stir. Lin Shi took advantage of the Leng Family’s misfortunes to openly attack; it was unethical but understandable. After all, people act in their own self-interest!
Yet no one anticipated that Bai Yiran would stubbornly hold on, and she persisted until Leng Yichen returned.

Bai Yiran glanced at him, "So, those two couldn’t raise the money, and they wanted to fill the gap from their misappropriation quickly to apply for reduced sentences. Forced with no other choice, they had to sell their shares."
Bai Yiran looked at the price listed; it was unbelievably low. "Also, you’ve forced the price to be this low, my dear husband, this doesn’t look like you just gave so instructions."
Huai International’s shares have always been very desirable. If Lin Shi publicly sold them, soone would undoubtedly buy, and at a high price too.
However, what they didn’t expect was that not only did no one buy, not even inquiries were made. They had to keep lowering the price until it was only enough to repay the misappropriated public funds, before soone stepped in to purchase — and that person was none other than Leng Yichen!
At this point, the two finally understood that all of this was Leng Yichen’s revenge against them. It seems that even when they’re released from prison, it will be difficult to regain their forr glory. Their previous actions led them directly to bankruptcy, implicating even their families.
Once so arrogant, Lin Shi now can only pass their days in regret inside prison.
Bai Yiran looked at the share transfer docunt in hand, "What do you plan to do with these shares? Give them back to Dad?"
Back then, Leng Liewei, to help Bai Yiran gain control, gave her 10% of his shares. Now, returning them to him would be the right thing to do.
"No." Leng Yichen gazed at Bai Yiran, "They’re for you."
