The fact that Lin Shi embezzled company funds already constitutes a cri. Since Bai Yiran has these pieces of evidence in her hands, the two know there’s no way they can escape.
Qi Hui was indignant, "They embezzled the company funds, what does it have to do with !"
"Don’t tell you didn’t know about them embezzling funds!" Bai Yiran harshly threw the stack of data files in front of Qi Hui, "How many of these funds were approved by your Marketing Departnt? All of them have your signature; these are the evidence!"
Qi Hui stared blankly at those docunts with her signature. She thought she had squared away the accounts so well, how did Bai Yiran still manage to dig them out? Could soone have betrayed her?
Qi Hui glared at Bai Yiran. If no one had betrayed her, there’s no way Bai Yiran could know about these!
"Was it Amy who told you?" The only person Qi Hui could think of was her assistant Amy.
Bai Yiran smiled ambiguously.
Qi Hui’s powerless hands let go, causing the pages of A4 paper to scatter down. She thought Amy, just like her, disliked Bai Yiran. She thought that since she had helped Amy before, and after getting promoted to director, she had imdiately moved Amy to her side as her assistant, Amy was her own person. Yet she never imagined Amy would betray her.
Bai Yiran looked at Qi Hui coldly, "How does it feel to be betrayed? So, when you betrayed Dad, did you ever consider his feelings?"
ntioning Leng Liewei, every hair on Qi Hui’s body stood on end, "Why should I care about that old man’s feelings? It was him! It was the Leng Family that let down! You never saw as a person! If I want to be a decent person, I must rebel! I—"
"You maniac!" Bai Yiran interrupted Qi Hui, "The path was your choice, your own insatiable greed! You beca what you are today because of your own actions; you can’t bla anyone else!"
"That’s not it! I just wanted what I desired, what’s wrong with that?" Qi Hui’s eyes were bloodshot, stubbornly glaring at Bai Yiran.
"Nothing’s wrong." Bai Yiran looked at Qi Hui with contempt, "Bla yourself for overestimating your abilities!"
Bai Yiran didn’t want to talk to them any longer, so she directly called for security to co up, "I’ve already called the police. I’m sure they’ll find you soon. If I were you, I’d hurry ho to say goodbye to my family. And I advise you not to think about running away, it’ll only make your future paths harder."
As soon as Bai Yiran’s words fell, security arrived, entering the room to directly escort the three out.
Lin Shi, who were already old, were so frightened upon hearing they were about to be arrested that they imdiately knelt down in front of Bai Yiran, begging her to let them go. Bai Yiran didn’t even bother to look at them, simply instructing security to drag them out.
Even at that point, Qi Hui didn’t show weakness in front of Bai Yiran, still cursing all the way as she was taken out by the security.
The office finally quieted down. Bai Yiran wearily slumped into her chair, thinking of Leng Yichen, she muttered to herself, "If it were you, you definitely wouldn’t have wasted so many words on them, right? I guess I’m still too indecisive..."
Just then, the office’s internal phone rang, Anna said there was a call for Bai Yiran, the caller was Yin Tianshen.
Bai Yiran paused for a mont, then let Anna transfer the call.
"You ungrateful woman, I just helped you get the managent rights, and you haven’t even thanked yet!"
