Since the last ti Qi Hui fell and had a stomachache, Luna hasn’t seen Leng Liewei again. They spoke over the phone twice, but neither conversation went well.

When Luna received the call from Bai Yiran, her soul was almost scared out of her, and she could barely stand, begging Qiu Zi to take her to the hospital.

Qiu Zi didn’t dare to delay and imdiately accompanied Luna to the hospital. After seeing the doctor, the doctor quickly inford Luna of Leng Liewei’s current condition, the surgical plan, and the risks involved. As Luna listened, she cried and held tightly onto Qiu Zi’s hand, feeling completely at a loss. Qiu Zi stood beside Luna, her eyes falling on Bai Yiran, who was not far away.

She should be Leng Yichen’s wife. What happened, and why does this woman look so haggard?

The doctor urged Luna to quickly sign the consent form. Luna was at a loss and looked at Bai Yiran, "Yiran, what should I do? What if Old Leng doesn’t make it..."

Bai Yiran took a deep breath and firmly looked at Luna, "Stepmom, sign the form. Dad is still on the operating table waiting for surgery. If you don’t sign, the surgery can’t proceed, and the longer we wait, the more danger Dad is in."

When Leng Liewei fell ill, Qi Hui didn’t realize it in ti. By the ti they got him to the hospital, she didn’t have the rights to sign because she wasn’t a relative. The doctor asked her to notify the family, so she went directly to Bai Yiran, but the doctor insisted it had to be a direct relative.

All this back and forth delayed a lot of ti, so now Luna must make a decision imdiately.

"Don’t worry, this kind of surgery is very common, and there are few failure cases. Dad will be fine." Bai Yiran could only softly comfort Luna, but in reality, she was the one who needed comforting the most.

Luna gritted her teeth and signed the consent form. With the signature obtained, the hospital imdiately started Leng Liewei’s surgery.

Only then did Bai Yiran notice the young woman beside Luna. Despite not being in the right mood, Luna introduced her, "Yiran, this is my niece Qiu Zi."

"Hello, I’m Bai Yiran." Bai Yiran said calmly, as her emotions were difficult to stir at that mont.

Qiu Zi felt sowhat awkward facing Bai Yiran, rembering the absurd plan her aunt and family had concocted to break up the household of the woman standing before her.

Bai Yiran, Luna, and Qiu Zi returned to the entrance of the operating room, where Qi Hui was still sitting, her expression indifferent with no sign of worry.

Seeing Qi Hui, anger surged within Luna, and she slapped Qi Hui across the face.

Qi Hui wasn’t prepared for it, and being hit suddenly, she furiously stood up, glaring at Luna, "Why did you hit !"

"How did Old Leng end up like this suddenly? What did you do to him?" Luna was agitated, and if it weren’t for Qiu Zi holding her back, she might have continued hitting.

Qi Hui shook off her hand, "What could I do to him? I didn’t even have the right to sign his surgical consent. What could I do?"

"What’s all this noise about! This is a hospital!" The noise from outside was too loud, and a nurse imdiately ca out to sternly warn them.

Qiu Zi cald Luna down and sat her down, similarly glaring at Qi Hui.

Qi Hui sneered, "Don’t look at like that. I haven’t done anything to Old Leng. He’s in the hospital because of Leng Yichen."

"Leng Yichen?" Luna looked at Bai Yiran, "What’s happened with Leng Yichen?"
