The villagers started discussing as soon as they heard this.
The village head’s son made it sound suspenseful, ntioning Interpol one mont and the town mayor the next.
Many of these villagers had never even seen the town mayor in their lifeti, let alone the Interpol they saw on TV; they didn’t even know what Interpol was.

A day and a night had passed, and the police could basically conclude that Wu Chengzu and his group had fled once again, but that did not an they left no trace. Furthermore, according to Bai Yiran’s testimony, Wu Chengzu and Yao Zhiqing had already contacted a ship departing for T Country that night. Ti was of the essence, and the police began to act separately.
The criminal investigation and anti-drug unit officers quickly left the scene after a brief handover, leaving only local police to handle on-site matters.
Only at this point did the villagers realize that there were indeed drug dealers hiding among them, and that woman had been kidnapped.
At this ti, twenty n dressed in black suits, described by the village head’s son as looking like Interpol, stepped forward in unison, leaving the villagers wide-eyed, unsure of the n’s identity.
The twenty n walked up to Leng Yichen and Bai Yiran, nodding uniformly in greeting, "Mr. Leng, Madam! Our apologies for arriving late!"
Leng Yichen had called them before heading up the mountain in the morning to search for Bai Yiran; the mountain was too large, and searching with just Wang Hai seed endless. So he got so people to join the search, but the road to town was only fully repaired by evening, allowing them to enter together with the police investigating the case.
