Wu Chengzu walked in with a cigarette in his mouth. Having not seen Bai Yiran for so ti and considering her confinent here, he thought she would beco depressed and thin. However, reality was not as he expected. Bai Yiran had not beco thin; instead, she had even gained so weight. This appearance made her more alluring, causing Wu Chengzu’s heart to flutter.
Seeing Wu Chengzu here, Bai Yiran couldn’t help but beco cautious. She stood up from her chair and moved behind the table, trying to use the table to separate herself from Wu Chengzu.
Wu Chengzu took the cigarette out of his mouth and said to Yao Zhiqing, who was still standing there, "You, leave first."
Yao Zhiqing hesitated for a mont, giving Bai Yiran a deep look, and unwillingly walked out.
Wu Chengzu casually closed the door, which slamd shut with a loud noise due to the draft.
Outside, Yao Zhiqing’s body trembled as she looked back at the door, her eyes flickering.
Da Lin sighed and ca over, "Zhiqing, why do you have to do this?"
Even though I’m right in front of you, why can’t you see ? Da Lin looked at Yao Zhiqing with deep affection, hoping for her response.
Yet, Yao Zhiqing left with a bitter smile. Earlier, for the sake of business and to protect her identity, she had always endured, silently watching Wu Chengzu sleep with one woman after another, watching him marry, have children, and then beco single again. She thought that as long as she stayed by Wu Chengzu’s side, she would be indispensable to him.
Until Wu Chengzu truly fell in love with Bai Yiran, she always believed this. Back then, even towards his own wife, Wu Chengzu hadn’t cared that much, or else his wife wouldn’t have died so tragically.
Now, Yao Zhiqing no longer wanted to endure, no longer wanted to watch Wu Chengzu linger for other won.
She had already been by his side for sixteen years, every mont of those sixteen years was spent for Wu Chengzu. Why couldn’t he see that?
Yao Zhiqing walked away, Da Lin looked at her lonely silhouette, clenching his fists.
At this mont, inside the room, Wu Chengzu no longer hid his desire for Bai Yiran, his eyes shone with a deep light, his voice low and magnetic, "Yiran, long ti no see."
"Long?" Bai Yiran sneered, "Not that long."
Wu Chengzu nodded and sat on the chair in front of the table, "Haven’t you heard the saying, ’a day apart feels like three years’?"
Hearing Wu Chengzu speak like this, Bai Yiran only felt disgusted, "When do you plan to let go?"
"Let you go?" Wu Chengzu chuckled, taking a few puffs of his cigarette, "Didn’t your good teacher tell you? We are planning to take you away with us."
"You must be sick, Wu Chengzu!" Bai Yiran’s eyes widened, "You’ve already achieved your goal by kidnapping ; you’re free now. What are you taking away for? I have my family and my child!"
"Family? Child?" Wu Chengzu laughed quietly, as if Bai Yiran had just told a very funny joke, "I promised Jingjing that from now on, she could see you every day. She likes you so much, why can’t you satisfy her small request?"
"Wu Jingjing is your daughter! She has nothing to do with !" Bai Yiran started to feel that Wu Chengzu was sowhat pathological.
As soon as she finished speaking, Wu Chengzu’s expression suddenly darkened, and he swiftly stood up, approaching Bai Yiran with a nacing aura.
