Upon hearing about extra pay, the driver sped up imdiately.
"Driver, could I borrow your phone? I need to make a call."
The driver was sowhat reluctant, but seeing the anxious look on the girl, he agreed and handed his phone to Cheng Shishi.
Cheng Shishi took the phone and thanked him, dialing Bai Yiran’s number from mory.
At ho, Bai Yiran was breastfeeding Xiao Xi, whose little mouth was sucking eagerly, little hands resting on the soft flesh of Bai Yiran’s chest, eyes closed with a contented expression.

Before Cheng Shishi could finish, a massive crash was heard from the phone, followed by screams mixed with the sound of bumping and glass shattering.
Bai Yiran was stunned for a second, her body started trembling, "Shishi..."
Yet, there was no longer a response from the other end of the call.
