In the lobby bar on the first floor of a certain five-star hotel, Bai Yiran was still engaged in a battle of words with a man reeking of cologne, nitpicking over every word.
Seeing that Bai Yiran was holding firm on the price and unwilling to lower it, the man started to feel irritated and his attitude toward Bai Yiran beca increasingly rude, "It seems you have no sincerity at all!"
Bai Yiran maintained a smile on her face, "I think my company has shown plenty of sincerity. The price was agreed upon earlier, and the contract was drafted based on that discussion. Now your company wants to change the price. How can you say it’s our sincerity that’s lacking?"
There was also a team mber who had co with Bai Yiran. Sensing the growing tension, he wanted to suggest a compromise, but he misread the situation and tugged on Bai Yiran’s sleeve, "Leader, why don’t we apply to the higher-ups again? See if we can lower the price a bit?" Then he looked at the other party, "If we both compromise a little, won’t everyone be happy?"
After hearing this, the other party’s expression improved slightly.
Yet he heard Bai Yiran speak with a tone of anger, "The price cannot be lowered anymore, this is the bottom line. If you must change the price, I’d rather not do this deal!"
At this, the man’s expression darkened. His company was quite satisfied with this deal, and the price was overall reasonable. It was his own whim, upon seeing that the other negotiator was Bai Yiran, to try and lower the price further. First, to save the company money, and second, to consolidate his own position in the company.
He didn’t expect Bai Yiran to be so tough, not yielding an inch.
So, the man sneered, "Little girl, do you even know how to do sales? Aren’t you afraid of losing the deal by acting like this?"
Bai Yiran’s team mber, observing Bai Yiran’s expression, also looked uneasy, secretly complaining inside. He had worked hard to get this deal, and he didn’t want Bai Yiran to ruin it.
"Leader, how could you..."
Before he could finish, he t Bai Yiran’s cold gaze and imdiately fell silent, though his face still betrayed his dissatisfaction.
Bai Yiran looked at the man, "Business is about integrity. You were untrustworthy first. I really have no desire to cooperate with a company like yours." Bai Yiran stood up, "In any case, our offered prices are final. If you can accept them, we’ll sign the contract. Otherwise, you’re free to find new partners, I don’t care!"
Feeling humiliated by Bai Yiran, the man laughed in anger and stood up too, looking at Bai Yiran with disdain in his eyes, "Ha! You’re too young and don’t understand the rules. I’ve seen many like you who rely on their looks. With no real skills, you think the whole world dotes on you because you’re pretty?" The man then gave a leering smile, "How about this, you spend one night with , and I’ll add another 30% to the original price!"
Seeing that the man had begun to speak indecently, Bai Yiran’s expression turned icy. She picked up a glass of juice from the table and rcilessly splashed it all over him.
"FUCK! Are you fucking crazy?" The man got angry, glaring and cursing, "Damn it, bitch! Now you’ve done it!"
As he spoke, he reached out towards Bai Yiran, intending to slap her.
Before his hand got anywhere near Bai Yiran’s face, a phone flew from a distance and struck him hard on the head, making him see stars and collapse to the ground.
