When Wu Chengzu received Bai Qianyu’s call and hurried back, Wu Jingjing was no longer at ho. The floor was scattered with pieces of a broken vase, Bai Qianyu had a large bruise on her forehead, and there were several red scratches made by nails on her arm.
"Where is Jingjing?"
Bai Qianyu paused, able to hear the anger in Wu Chengzu’s voice. Bai Qianyu rubbed the bruise on her forehead, saying with an aggrieved look, "I kindly asked her if she was hungry, but she cursed as a shaless woman clinging to you! She even hit my head with a vase and scratched my arm with her nails. I guess she’s afraid you’ll co back and punish her, so she ran out herself. I wanted to chase after her, but my head is really dizzy..."
Seeing the ss in the living room, Wu Chengzu said to Bai Qianyu in a deep voice, "You should leave."
Bai Qianyu was surprised; she thought Wu Chengzu would care for her, take her to the hospital, or comfort her softly, but he unexpectedly asked her to leave.
"Zu..."
"Get out!" Wu Chengzu’s voice was filled with unconcealed violence.
Bai Qianyu was startled by this Wu Chengzu, hurriedly grabbed her bag, and left unwillingly.
Wu Chengzu knew Wu Jingjing’s personality; she had just recently run away from ho, and now it happened again. Wu Chengzu was about to call Chen Bei to send soone out to search when Bai Yiran’s call ca in.
At the KFC near the company, Bai Yiran helplessly propped her chin, watching Wu Jingjing munch on chicken wings.
She was just checking the team mbers’ return visit records in the office when she received a call from an unfamiliar number, which turned out to be Wu Jingjing.
Bai Yiran was speechless; this child was really sticking to her, wasn’t she? Why did she always encounter her every ti she ran away from ho?
"So, why did you run away from ho again?"
While munching on her chicken wings, Wu Jingjing said, "There’s a woman clinging to my dad at ho. I don’t like her!"
Wu Jingjing’s reply was concise, making Bai Yiran imdiately understand; she was just a daughter who didn’t like her father dating girlfriends.
"Don’t you want soone to take care of both your dad and you?"
"Not really." Wu Jingjing shook her head, "If it were you, I wouldn’t mind!"
This response from Wu Jingjing made Bai Yiran montarily stunned, "Haha, that probably isn’t possible, I’m already married, you know that."
Wu Jingjing’s gaze darkened, "Oh, I know." Then as if she rembered sothing, she said to Bai Yiran, "That woman clinging to my dad says she’s your biological sister, nad Bai sothing Yu."
"Bai Qianyu?"
"Yes! She’s really annoying! Sister Yi Ran, is she really your sister?"
Only then did Bai Yiran realize Wu Chengzu and Bai Qianyu were connected, "Half-sibling, but my relationship with her isn’t very good."
"I knew it, really makes lose my appetite even seeing her."
"Wu Jingjing!" Wu Chengzu’s deep voice suddenly sounded above her, his eyes staring at Wu Jingjing.
Wu Jingjing shrank her neck, looking to Bai Yiran for help, "Sister Yi Ran..."
Bai Yiran sighed helplessly, truly unable to stand this father-daughter duo. She glanced at Wu Chengzu, pointed to the empty chair beside her, "Mr. Wu, please sit down first."
Wu Chengzu obediently sat down, looking at Wu Jingjing, "Next ti you leave without notice again, I’ll break your leg!"
"Alright." Bai Yiran spoke, "Let her eat first, she hasn’t eaten all morning and must be starving."
Wu Jingjing stuck her tongue out at Wu Chengzu, happily taking a bite of the hamburger Bai Yiran bought her. At this mont, she felt incredibly happy, as though the three of them were a family. A stern father, a gentle mother, this scene she had longed for quite so ti.
Bai Qianyu returned from the hospital and passed by the KFC. She saw through the window the scene of Bai Yiran, Wu Chengzu, and Wu Jingjing sitting together. The sight of them like a family pierced Bai Qianyu deeply, at that mont she really felt like rushing in to tear off Bai Yiran’s face.
Ultimately, Bai Qianyu held back. Because of Wu Jingjing, Wu Chengzu was already upset with her; barging in now would only be counterproductive.
However, she couldn’t reconcile with it! Why was everyone around that shaless woman Bai Yiran? She was clearly already married to Leng Yichen, why couldn’t she settle down!
Bai Qianyu took out her phone and captured the harmonious scene of the three of them.
"Bai Yiran! This ti I’ll ensure your destruction!"
