Ming Kai is actually a man with good qualities in all aspects. He’s handso, well-built, and has an impressive educational and family background. Setting everything else aside, he’s indeed a suitable marriage candidate.

Since he’s already downstairs, Bai Yiran had to et him; it would be impolite to simply send him away.

After tidying up her things, just as the elevator arrived, Bai Yiran stepped inside with small steps.

"Wait!" As the elevator doors were about to close, Bai Qianyu ca running from behind, swiftly entered the elevator, and her expression turned a bit stiff upon seeing Bai Yiran inside.

Bai Qianyu’s phone rang, and her previously stiff expression instantly softened with affection upon seeing the caller ID, even her voice exuded tenderness when answering the call, "Missing ? Oh, I’ve already left work... So annoying..."

Besides the two of them, there were other colleagues in the elevator. Bai Qianyu, talking on the phone so indifferently, coupled with the poor signal inside the elevator, caused her voice to beco loud, inevitably making it a bit botherso for others.

Bai Yiran glanced at Bai Qianyu, knowing she was showing off. She recently started dating a guy who was the heir of a certain corporation and seed to treat Bai Qianyu very well. Consequently, she had been distracted at work lately, even ssing up several simple tasks.

Yao Zhiqing, out of fondness for Bai Qianyu as her forr student, didn’t make a fuss, but it often ended up with Bai Yiran cleaning up the ss, which really annoyed her.

Bai Yiran stepped out and saw Ming Kai leaning against his car, arms crossed, waiting there. Upon seeing Bai Yiran, Ming Kai waved at her.

"Get in." Ming Kai had already opened the car door for her as Bai Yiran approached.

"I’m really eting my sister tonight." Bai Yiran didn’t want to prolong things; there was simply no possibility between them.

"Get in first, I’ll take you there." Ming Kai glanced at his watch, "At this ti, it’s not easy to find a taxi, right?"

Alright, Ming Kai’s reason successfully convinced Bai Yiran. During the evening rush hour in this city, getting a taxi was practically as difficult as reaching the sky.

Bai Yiran obediently got into the car as Ming Kai closed the door for her, then rounded the front of the car to sit in the driver’s seat.

Bai Qianyu ca out just in ti to see Bai Yiran getting into a man’s car, feeling indignant. This was the difference between her and Bai Yiran; one was picked up by the man, the other had to take the initiative to et him.

Inside the car, Bai Yiran looked out the window, the traffic was terrible.

Not long after getting in, Bai Yiran’s phone rang. She thought it was Cheng Shishi, but upon checking the caller ID, discovered it was Leng Yichen.

She hung up the phone imdiately, not wanting to hear his voice.

Leng Yichen called again, and Bai Yiran hung up once more.

Again and again, Leng Yichen kept calling as if challenging her. Bai Yiran simply turned off her phone to avoid getting a headache.

Ming Kai casually turned on the car stereo, playing a soft English song. "Why not answer your phone?"

"Hmm?" Ming Kai suddenly spoke, and Bai Yiran, lost in thought, didn’t hear him clearly, "What did you say?"

Ming Kai smiled helplessly but changed the subject, "Last night, my parents asked about our eting."

"Mm, and then?"

He looked at Bai Yiran, today he seed completely different from yesterday, the indifferent face was gone, and he maintained a smile at least up to this point.

"And I think it’s good."

"Good?" Bai Yiran looked at Ming Kai, thinking yesterday they had made things clear, they were both forced into it, and the eting was just a matter of formality.

"Yes." Ming Kai looked at Bai Yiran with a doctor’s unique focus, "Bai Yiran, I want to continue developing our relationship."
