So far, Michael felt like everything here was pretty much done. He originally ca to get a god’s power inheritance but didn’t think he’d learn quite a few extra things while talking with Cook God.

Now he just needed to receive the power and he could go back right away, but eating a bit more first was fine. Eating the at of an extinct ’rare animal’ was an experience money couldn’t buy.

"No more. You should only try one piece. This stuff is rare, and I’m about to die, so I gotta eat my fill."

Cook God dropped so shocking words that left Michael dumbfounded. Then, right in front of Michael’s dazed eyes, he started gobbling it down happily.

Michael saw that the dragon at in front of him was enough for him to eat nonstop for a whole month, not like it was almost gone. This was clearly him ssing with him on purpose and had nothing to do with how much dragon at there was.

"What’s your deal? If you’ve got so problem with , just say it. Don’t use this to piss off."

He couldn’t help but curse at a god’s stingy, miserly behavior. In this space, Michael was sure Cook God could have as much dragon as he wanted, so there was no way it was in short supply.

"What do you know? Being a good chef ans making the eater never forget it. Tell , don’t you already have that taste burned into your mory? I purposely gave you the best part."

Cook God seriously explained his super hard-to-understand action. According to him, the feeling itself was more important than eating a lot or a little.

???

Did a chef with this kind of ’peak’ thinking really exist in this world? Knowing his own food was delicious, he gave the custor one bite and then cut them off so they’d never forget it.

"Damn it, do you know doing that makes everything else I eat taste worse? Now I feel like no matter what I eat, the flavor’s just not as good."

Michael couldn’t help but curse imdiately. After just one bite, he felt like his pickiness had reached a whole new level.

Now, everything he’d ever eaten, no matter how good the flavor, was miles behind dragon at. If he was eating just to fill his stomach, that was one thing. But now if Michael went to a restaurant to enjoy a al, he wouldn’t even find it tasty anymore.

"That’s exactly the effect I wanted. No matter what you eat, you’ll rember today’s flavor. As long as you don’t forget that taste, I’ll forever be the number one chef in your heart. Since you live forever and won’t die, you’ll never forget it."

Cook God said confidently, as if no matter how many years passed, Michael would never find anything that amazing to replace it.

"Hmph, I don’t believe that. Nine-star energy monsters on this continent aren’t just dragons. Anyway, they’re all made of energy, so I don’t see why others would be inferior. Plus, there are even demigod energy monsters. Higher rank definitely ans better quality at."

Even though Michael had never eaten even the lowest-grade energy monster at, let alone nine-star, he still thought his reasoning was solid.

Higher rank, more energy. This at was ford from energy, so higher quality energy would definitely taste better.

"Not bad thinking, but too bad it’s wrong. Other energy monsters have a cultivation process to get stronger, pretty similar to humans, but dragons are different. Dragons are born already at the core level of nine-star, and after growing up for a while, they reach the peak of nine-star."

Pausing for a mont, Cook God started recalling if there were any energy monsters with a better flavor than dragon at.

"Cultivate a little more and they easily beco demigods. You could say dragons were the ’darlings’ of this world before humanity appeared.

I’ve eaten countless energy monsters, but the dragon’s number one spot still hasn’t been shaken. Even if other species reach demigod rank, eating them isn’t as good as a dragon that was just born not long ago."

Hearing Cook God ramble on, Michael understood that there was no way he was getting another piece today.

Then he suddenly rembered what he’d said about there still being one dragon left on the continent when he died. So it wasn’t like Michael had no chance to eat dragon at again.

"You said before there was still one dragon. So where is it? And is it still alive or not?"

"I can’t know the current information, but I do know that dragon is the tastiest dragon on this continent."

Cook God shook his head and gave a definite answer that made Michael pause.

The tastiest dragon on the continent... That concept really made soone like Michael, who hadn’t had his fill of dragon at, feel like there was still hope in the future.

More importantly, if he ate that dragon, then Cook God’s spot in his head for making the best dish would be replaced by himself.

"Where is it? What are its traits? Just tell so I can go find it when I’m strong enough."

Michael asked a bit impatiently. He didn’t mind accidentally earning the title of ’Number One Chef on the Continent’ for himself.

"I don’t know exactly where, but it’s definitely in what humans call the Ancient Forest. In other words, the center of the energy monsters’ activity range. That dragon’s trait is that it’s white, much prettier than this one, and also much stronger. What’s more, it’s called Dragon God."

Cook God said it in a normal tone, but his words carried so ’mischievous’ intent. To kill Dragon God, a god would have to be sacrificed. If that god was Michael, then he wouldn’t have a chance to eat it anyway.

"Huh??? Do you hear what you just said? You want to kill a god? That’s way too high an opinion of ."

Though he didn’t know Dragon God, Michael still rembered clearly what Cook God had said: All gods have equal power.

A god from the sa era as Cook God was obviously countless tis stronger than Michael currently was.
