An ultimate technique is a move that only demigods can use. It can unleash power so terrifying that even gods find it extrely difficult to fight back against.

It has another na: a life-for-a-life technique, because using an ultimate technique requires sacrificing yourself to gain power far beyond your normal limits.

Simply put, this move is super strong, but once you use it, you’re dead. If the strength gap isn’t too big, then our side all dies, and the enemy side all dies too.

Take the move Rias is about to use as an example: it needs the combination of Raphael’s fourth technique. In terms of power, if you take Elio out of the formation, then the other two would be having a funeral soon.

The reason they’re going in a group of three isn’t random. Going with three, they can still co back heavily wounded, but going with two ans they can only die together with Rias and Raphael.

Rias takes a deep breath. Clearly, her body is pale and on the verge of death, but in this mont, the energy she’s releasing is far more terrifying than before.

The blue energy escaping from her becos more and more brilliant. It’s not scattering around wildly but stays close to her body, causing her body—and simultaneously every cell inside it—to also transform into a form of energy.

In this mont, she’s like a small star, radiating light so dazzling it directly rivals the sun without a hint of inferiority.

The amulet floating above her palm rises into the air, frantically absorbing all this terrifying energy. Rias’s body, which has now practically turned into energy, is also completely absorbed by the amulet, down to the last bit of energy.

Once all the energy has been absorbed, a crack begins to appear on the amulet. The crack spreads at an extrely fast speed, and in just the blink of an eye, the amulet shatters, releasing a horrifying source of energy.

Ultimate Technique – Grand Magic Array: Ultimate Replication!

A massive magic circle with a radius of up to forty thousand ters seals off the entire surrounding area in the blink of an eye. Its intimidation is far more terrifying than the fusion technique of Glacior and Ignivar.

Raphael didn’t miss the chance and imdiately used Celestial Sword to chop down a large tree trunk. Then, using almost all of his remaining energy, he launched the sword straight into the sky.

The sword tore through the void, creating a gate, and dove inside, reappearing at the center of the grand magic array.

Fourth Technique – Heavenfall Blade!

The energy stored in Raphael’s body was nearly bottod out. The small amount left was just enough for him to barely float along the river, not enough to use another technique.

The ultimate technique and the technique combined to create an unimaginable effect. Massive sword blades erged from the void from a position about five thousand ters up in the air. Each sword was comparable in size to a major architectural structure.

Another comparison that’s easier to picture: one such sword falling onto a battlefield would be enough to kill several thousand people.

That magnificent sight broadened the horizons of all three, because despite living this long, this was the first ti they’d witnessed an ultimate technique firsthand.

The reason it’s hard to witness an ultimate technique isn’t anything special. After all, who’s got nothing better to do than use an ultimate technique and then die?

"I think you guys should get serious. In this situation, I can’t guarantee you’ll survive either."

Seeing this magnificent sight, Elio couldn’t afford to take it lightly anymore. Earlier, he had indeed underestimated the ultimate technique a bit. He knew ultimate techniques were strong but had never seen one in action, so he’d misjudged it.

"Tsk, I’m not stupid enough to be careless in a situation like this. This whole place is sealed off, so there’s no ti to run."

Glacior couldn’t help clicking his tongue at the sight. The past month had been brutal, but never to this extent.

"The gift Rias left behind is really sothing. If we’re not careful, we might just receive her gift and go straight to heaven to hang out with her."

Even though the situation was serious, Ignivar still had the energy to joke around. He was sure he wouldn’t die this ti, but he probably wasn’t coming back in one piece.

There was still a bit of ti, and Elio’s gaze turned toward Raphael, who was fleeing. Letting him go easily was obviously not an option, so he decided to ’gift’ Raphael his fourth technique as a return gift for the ’present’ about to drop on his head.

Fourth Technique – Eternal Fla!

Elio gathered power at his fingertip, forming a tiny spark that looked like it wouldn’t do much damage. He would flick it toward Raphael’s chest. If this hit, Raphael’s chance of death would be around ninety percent.

That might sound low, but this was the most Elio could do to help. If he didn’t do this, no one would believe Raphael was dead when he filed his report. If that insanely lucky bastard suddenly decided to go look for Raphael, then he’d be out of luck.

Just after flicking the fla, Elio didn’t bother to watch it. He was sure it would hit because the fla’s speed was extrely fast and his aim had never failed. But he didn’t know that right after being launched, before it could fly far, sothing unexpected happened...

"I need to change my perspective. The current view is getting boring."

Michael figured no one else could touch the magic lamp, so he flew straight ahead, accidentally bumping into Elio’s fla and knocking it off course.

It all happened too fast. Inside the magic lamp, there was no issue, but Michael’s view shook slightly.

The fla’s original target was the chest, but due to the collision, it hit the waist instead. Because of that, Raphael’s survival rate shot up to fifty percent.

"System, I think I just hit sothing, right? Didn’t you say the magic lamp was untouchable?"

This was just his guess because he saw his view shake a little. He wasn’t sure about it, so he asked the system to confirm.
