Lind was currently kneeling on his floor in his room. Qing, Lysanna, and Annabelle were scolding him for the past 3 days!

After they settled things in Rasker and Lind set up a few defenses for them, he cut through space once more and ca back to his room to find all his wives waiting for them.

Shoti was amused, Kora waved, Ethry raced to her son to check him over, and the rest stared at him like he was a dead man.

While Hei was carted off by Ethry and the rest to smiles and happy tidings, Lind was made to repent.

The gist of it was, the head of the clan left, without any notice or instruction for an unknown amount of ti and took his son with him. Worst case scenarios had gone through all their heads and they had been planning to put the city on lockdown!

Cold sweat covered his back as he rightly accepted all the punishnt of words they had. They also were not happy about his thods.

Traveling directly through space was a prerogative of Immortals but it had limits. Short distance was universally known.

If you lived anywhere long enough, every blade of grass was known to you. The sa principle applied for areas within the aura of an Immortal. Anywhere they could reach, they could travel instantly.

It cost enormous amounts of Qi the farther one went with 1 exception. If the Laws of Space comprehended complented traveling, then the cost was decreased dramatically. Even so, the commonly accepted limit was only a hundred thousand kiloters for Immortals to reach.

Lind proved that was idiotic and dangerous to assu. The 6 elentals were all giant reservoirs of Qi that blew previous limits out of the water but no one actually knew how far they could go and still be viable as fighters.

Lind, on the other hand, had figured out a little trick he told no one. He could create a kind of resonance point for his harmony. So long as it lasted, he could go anywhere!

His traversing across half the Celestial Fields in an instant could start a war if discovered but he did it anyway!

As Lysanna was winding up her practical tirade, the other group ca back all smiles.

"Hei is engaged to Kyren! She said yes and he wants to be married as soon as possible!" Ethry was glowing! Unlike other dragons, she did not care one whit what race her children married. So long as they were happy, she was happy.

Besides, Lind's and her bloodlines were both divine so Hei was a pureblood Divine dragon. All his imdiate descendants had the possibility of becoming true dragons easily.

That took the pressure off of Lind but he dared not breathe or he might draw their attention back. He smiled at his son but that was all.

His earlier thought ca back to him.

It had been over 6000 years since he founded the Frey Clan. The day to day was going smoothly without his intervention and any issues inside or out were addressed perfectly.

He was mostly focusing on himself as he wished but he also realized he was not needed anymore.

The Clan had fully matured. It had its protectors and allies but it also had to grow on its own. He now understood why Immortals had to pull back from their sects and clans as ti passed.

They would only stunt the growth of the new generations trying to keep control. They could be there to protect it, but the next generation had to choose the direction.

It was a ridiculously short ti compared to most other powers but Lind was not conventional anyway. Actually, when he thought about it, the foundation went all the way back to the first Moebius Sect.

Many had followed him all the way up and the core mbers that survived and rose up could all be trusted.

A warm smile spread and his wives froze for a bit in confusion as they felt like sothing had just happened that was critically important but could not place it.

There was still a long list of things to do but as he thought of his legacy, he pondered on his Inheritance. He was a Shard Tier Immortal and more than qualified to make one.

It was actually sothing other powers were bringing up with their elders and ancestors alike. So were at their final cultivation and it was ti to pass things on but Lind was planning on ascending.

Delenn had confird she could not move up on her own but she also stated it was more like a feeling of mud he was all too familiar with.

It ant there was indeed another Fiend facility doing sothing on the next layer of the Celestial Fields. Much like the Floating Isles, it was a large number of floating continents with seas of crystal between them.

It sounded wonderful to see but he wondered what it was like after a million years being cut off from below and above.

He would ascend when he was ready and take Delenn with him. That was the plan so far anyway.

Other Shard Tiers had been pushing themselves but their progress was abysmal. Even those that had been at the peak of low Shard Tier already had hardly made any progress. They had been too focused on the war and never considered ascending.

Lind was terrifying in how he had not only caught up but would soon pass by them!

He had also done so in a stunningly short ti! Most Immortals were nearly 4 to 5 thousand years old before barely crossing the major realms. It made their life span and potential as an Immortal far less.

The millions of Immortals from the Law Binding had also had that issue as many had been Heaven Realms for almost the majority of their lives.

Still, their foundations were far better than many others.

Many could easily make it to Shard Tier from what Lind had learned but that would be the end of the road for almost 90% of them.

The jump from one tier to the next was that much harder as an Immortal and even Delenn had confird that his current speed was insane.

He watched the small segnt of his family and realized he had so decision to put forth but first and foremost, he had a wedding to plan again!

It was that thought that finally betrayed him as Ethry, Cyntilla, and Shoti locked onto him!

"Ah Hell." He was made to do so penance for his brash actions and excluded from all plans regarding Hei's wedding. Still, he smiled wide.

A joyous event was never a bad thing.

????????

"What do you an, destroyed?" A corpulent man was sitting on a throne in a darkened hall. It was not nightti, but the middle of the day but the hall was always dark. The spartan hall also had heavily ard soldiers lining the walls with spears, swords, and several artifacts ready to attack at any ti.

The large man was wearing practical robes but anyone that thought he was simple or cheap would not live to regret it. The robes looked cheap but were extrely powerful.

Peak mid grade 7 Darkhol Robes could reflect 3 attacks from a Shard Tier Immortal.

Their design was necessary due to the materials.

His sweaty face was frowning as a scrawny man withered under his gaze. The throne groaned as he stood up from it and lood over the man.

"F-forgive , Majesty, but the Golden God Alchemy Sect elders were wiped out by 1 man. A dragon at the Shard Tier from what I understand." The large man suddenly swiped his hand upward.

A flare of white was all that happened but the scrawny man vanished in a cloud of blood.

"I want a real report in 2 days or more people will join him in Hell. I also want that doddering old fool in my dungeons by nightfall or I will behead the generals personally!" Although it seed he would be quite slow to move due to his weight, the large man nimbly left the hall and moved upstairs to his personal chambers.

There was no other entrance to them.

"IDIOTS! GREEDY CHILDREN! I warned them! I told them not to pull their usual tactics!" The man took a silver circlet from his balding head and set it down before taking several breaths to calm down.

He then moved to a simple stone desk and picked up a jade slip that had cost him 7 low Immortal grade stones! He was one of the very few powers in his region to have such a mine and no one could break his monopoly on it.

He reviewed again the costly intelligence brought to him decades ago.

[Report on Celestial Fields:]

[Tenuous Alliance seems to exist on the other side of the realm but teleportation connections exist to cross most cardinal directions. Extrely powerful factions that rival our Kingdom of Skulls exist. Key issues will be the Heavenly Maidens Sect. They contravene Royal Edict #13 to keep all won in servitude. Demons and beasts also coexist and are not enslaved as is proper.]

The report went on like that in seemingly impossible ways but the last bit is what made the King of Skulls restrain his subordinate powers from being open about their intentions.

[Unable to obtain accurate intelligence on the Frey Clan but possess a level of power that can bring all other powers to heel. Supposedly have so being called a True Lord that is mandated by the Heavens. Point of view is common knowledge and will oppose our Heaven blessed expansion.]

"It was too soon and now they know about us. I will skin you alive, you old fool." The King tossed the jade slip onto his simple bed and sat at his desk as he drew up new plans. The exposure due to the Golden God Alchemy Sect left them open.

War was coming.
