Lind, Gel, and the wolf began to head back.
The young aether child girl had chosen to stay with the Shadowfla Clan.
He had spent ti teaching her and just talking as well.
She asked often if she was making a mistake but he told her it was her choice.
The Honor Master also swore to help guide her.
Lind gave him several jade slips that would help with an aether child but they were only lessons.
It would be up to her how far she would go.
She looked teary eyed when they finally left but he promised to visit soon.
"Will she be all right?"
Gel suddenly asked and he needed no hint about her subject.
"No.
She will have a long road ahead and the seeds of an unknown number of heart demons will have to be addressed.
How far she goes will be up to her, luck, and honestly how much she lets others help.
I speak from experience that letting people in is not easy."
Gel looked at him in surprise.
He just shrugged and guided them to the new lair.
The wolf with them began to perk up as the forest gave way to a mountainous region with a strange atmosphere as they proceeded.
Gel saw that the stone was not normal.
It was laced with black patterns but also she felt the flow of air was odd as well.
It felt heavier to her.
"Is this the Chasm Range?"
Lind nodded as he stopped before what seed like an open stretch of ground.
The wolf did not stop and vanished only a few ters away!
"Did it die?!"
She knew the rumors about this particular area.
It had mountains but that was not the issue.
There was a natural illusion due to darkness and air blending from treasures to hide a dangerous reality of the range.
"The wolves are mostly darkness and air with a few Tri-elentals mixed in.
I assure you, they are in their ho here."
He used his own Qi of light to reveal the ground suddenly giving way to a yawning chasm.
It was not smooth at all but a craggy dive into unknown depths.
As the pair looked around, there were small and large chasms deep into the earth.
Lind saw all the wolves wandering the various depths where the feeling of darkness and air was strongest.
His Eyes saw the flow of Qi before confirming what he suspected.
"Umbra Stone, a lot of it."
At the lower levels, the stone was pure darkness and pulling in air due to the property of Umbra Stone.
It still had traces of earth Qi in it so gravity was a variable.
Air was condensed due to the streams coming from the chasms.
The 2 elents combined to create a false projection of a flat surface until the light of day reveals it, but Umbra Stone naturally gathered darkness Qi to keep the environnt dimr than normal.
The sheer mass of them made it spread across the entire range.
The Umbra Stone also was slowly spreading as the darkness Qi density was so high.
Lind scanned around but did not find who he was looking for until he looked up the mountain in front of them.
A cavern about a quarter of the way up had a silver wolf looking down at them.
He waved and Yue howled.
Air and darkness Qi moved to create a bridge for them to cross.
It was a simple affair but it worked for the pair to reach the mountain.
Once across the largest chasm, the bridge vanished behind them.
Orion was visible once they got to the cavern.
He looked bored out of his mind and still tied up.
He actually perked up when Lind and Gel showed up.
"Finally–"
Before he could continue, a ball of golden fur blurred by him to slam into Lind.
Lind smiled wide as the ball of fur beca a 3 tailed fox.
"Peak Gold Tier, eh?
Not bad Little Fluffy."
Lind pat the head of the fox as she rubbed her head against him.
"Little Fluffy, that is cheating by changing size!"
A young girl ca running with Hope in tow.
The smile on Hope was clear to both.
"It is all right, Lis, she is just happy to see
again.
You both surprise–"
Lind was in the middle of complinting them when he noticed Lis was fully fleshed out with a solid foundation.
She was not suffering like other humans!
A quick glance at Little Fluffy found the sa thing!
Compared to Yue's foundation, Little Fluffy was head and shoulders above in stability and quality!
How had they done that?!
"They are taking their ti and making a more solid path.
It helped a lot!"
Hope spoke up and he nearly stumbled as he felt Diamond Tier coming from her!
She had been nowhere near that when he left only a little over a week ago!
Hope's foundation and Qi felt perfectly stable and she also had no sign of degradation to her body or dantian.
All 3 had 1 thing in common and now Gel was added to that in a way.
They all learned from him!
"I thought you would notice.
I certainly did."
Yue clearly wanted to know how all 3 of these people were doing so well when the rest of the realm struggled to progress.
"I have to look into it myself.
Please sit with ."
They all moved to the area outside the cavern.
Lind took them through their paces and observed their cultivation.
The true size of Little Fluffy made it hard to call her little anymore but considering his true size was asured in kiloters made him clam up.
He noted that Hope continued to cultivate in ways that enlightened him on Celestial Qi.
She studied and then manipulated the world to master her understanding.
As soon as she grasped it, she advanced!
It was clear she still had to stabilize at each new realm but thanks to Lind's teachings, she was able to grasp things fairly quickly.
Lis was just normal quality cultivation but because he had left her lessons to read and comprehend all possible combinations of the 6 elents, she chose to study them all!
She was only a dual elental with earth and water, but she was able to master it quickly!
Little Fluffy had earth, light, and water.
She could also fly on her own!
Only one fox bloodline had such innate power, the Nine Tailed Fox!
"Barring an opportunity, I think 3 tails are as many as Little Fluffy can expect.
Her divine bloodline is why she is doing better in part but your teaching helped as well."
He nodded but it still floored him how well all of them were doing.
"Hope will be reaching the Sky Realm soon.
We should prepare for it."
Yue agreed and had already set aside an area but Lind made a more remote area the one they would use.
He was unsure what would co, but he was absolutely certain it would be massive.
"You did not want to claim the forr Empire lands for them?"
He shook his head.
"I am not pushing my luck there.
If the seed planted can help hold off the crumbling lands, all the better for us but a tribulation could burn up all that good going on there."
She nodded at his words.
"They are good friends already.
I think, even with that little fox, the human girl was lonely."
He nodded but then narrowed his eyes.
"Lis, how did you train your control so well?"
His words made the young girl freeze.
Her robes were not fine but the woolen cloth was not bad.
"Bark!"
Little Fluffy proudly thrust out her chest and wagged her 3 tails energetically.
Both Yue and Lind swiveled their heads to Lis as one.
Lis ducked behind Hope but he easily got behind her to pick her up.
"Raiding the villages?
Disrupting the citadel harvests?
Need I add the attacks on hunters?"
Each question made Lis flinch.
"I just wanted food at first but they attacked ."
Little Fluffy confird that so Lind let a bit go, but he was not so easily pacified.
"And after that?"
Lis flinched and looked down in a pout.
"They sent people after
and I refused to run!"
She was still looking down so she did not see Lind flash anger.
Little Fluffy gave more.
Lis and Little Fluffy had been hunted by the sa boys he first t back then!
It got worse and worse until Lis fought back.
After that, she beca proactive.
The citadel also sent hunters and thus beca valid targets.
He raised his hand and Lis closed her eyes in fear but a gentle pat surprised her as she looked up at him.
"We will see what you have learned and I will teach you better Arts.
Also, I will teach you better how to plan so you can avoid such issues in the future."
He then turned to Little Fluffy and let his aura flare.
Rather than fear, the fox wagged her tails even harder in happiness.
He sighed before inviting the fox to do battle with him.
He would see how each of them were doing in their current realms.
Their results were already stunning enough, but now he had to polish them to see how far they could go.
