Far from the 6 empires and their isolated world, a war waged eternally.

It was not a war of ideals, but of survival.

For billions of years the war knew no change save the slow loss of territory to the enemy, the Fiends.

A little over 75 years ago, things changed.

An ant from a mortal world broke the cultivation truths.

He challenged what was accepted and defied all fate to rise unrelentingly.

He touched on things few ever considered and revived an entire profession most frowned on.

His greatest achievent, however, was as savior of an entire segnt of cultivators.

Unlike many that ca before, he did not hide his revelations but forcibly spread them to all.

He refused to be selfish and beca the founder of a sect that shook the mortal and Heaven Realms.

He also beca the mortal enemy of the Fiends.

While many had invoked their ire, he beca enemy number one very quickly.

He ripped a mortal realm away from Fiend control and decimated their forces with power that terrified them to the present day.

If he was still trapped in a mortal realm, they would relax, but not only was he not trapped, the other 6 elentals ca too!

He broke the rules of cultivation once more and ascended into the Heaven Realm!

He also left behind a legacy for others to follow and they did vigorously!

In less than a decade the Fiend war front was pushed back by the terrifying power of 6 elentals and their harmonies.

They were not as effective as his, but as a whole, anyone in the sa Tier suffered defeat.

They were all Moon Tiers instantly!

The Moebius Sect was far from the battle front but many volunteers went to fight because of a single fact.

Lind Frey was missing.

A massive city was floating above a broken land of ruins.

It easily surpassed the size of any island of the Floating Isles and had grown massively even before Lind Frey ascended.

The services provided from the sect were unparalleled as the foundation laid by Lind Frey was deeper than any could conceive, but most were only barely getting into grade 6.

There was still a massive number at Heaven grade 5 that floored most powers.

Such financial strength left other powers in awe but at the heart of it was the sect.

As before, it was a concentric circle of ever rising towers and labs.

At the tallest tower with the endless loop of the Moebius Strip emblazoned on it, a woman with prismatic hair snapped open her shimring eyes in frustration.

"Where are you, Lind?"

Ethry had once felt him ever so briefly and weakly.

He was very far away but sothing was blocking him!

She was sure of it now!

The sensation was not false as it had reconnected again and a single thought ca through.

[Alive!]

Shoti had wept on Qing's shoulder with Annabelle also openly weeping.

Cyntilla had been stoic but all could tell she was just as touched.

Kora and Lysanna had cheered while Tal and Fey practically demanded where he was.

It was 15 years later but Ethry never felt it again.

She was truly frustrated as the things that could block their bond were very few.

The others had begun to quietly put out feelers for anything unusual but otherwise began to research what could block a soul bond.

There were a few likely candidates in an Inheritance or Ruin but why would Lind be in one of those willingly?

Further, his bond had been blocked off the instant he arrived so whatever he was in was persistent.

"Still nothing?"

A young girl quietly asked from the side and Ethry pulled her into a hug.

Illyria blad herself after all the years had passed.

Afterall, it was her ascension that caught Lind off guard.

Kexin had been clear in her ssage that he had been shocked when it happened but they knew he lived.

If he lived, that man would not stop.

"Do not give up on him.

He has been declared dead many tis but always survived.

More than that, he would never ever bla you for what he was trying to achieve.

He simply needed a final push and you happened to give it."

Ethry knew Lind would not want the daughter of Divine Guardian to wallow, but unless he returned, there was little they could do.

She was heartbroken that Lind was in danger because of her.

"Lady Ethry, another envoy has arrived."

A disciple of the sect opened the door and Ethry frowned.

It was getting tedious dealing with those people.

"Lysanna is busy?"

The disciple nodded and Ethry huffed.

Kora was out with Tal hunting so they were unlikely to return anyti soon.

It had been universally agreed that Cyntilla and Shoti should not negotiate with anyone, ever.

Qing and Annabelle were fine but their duties were just as demanding.

Ethry had duties as well but she had been excused to try and reconnect with Lind to at least get a direction but nothing happened.

"Very well, I will see them in the eting room 7."

It was sufficiently nice but if they complained she was not beyond flaring her claws at them.

She felt like venting that way.

She contacted her Master and Mira ca quickly to take care of Ilyria.

Like Tal and Fey before her, the little girl had practically been adopted as a grandchild by Mira.

The woman was a saint but she also had told Ethry Lind would be keeping his promise when he got back no matter what.

Even she, a Divine Dragon, broke out in a cold sweat when Mira talked like that.

Mothers were scary.

Ethry quickly made her way to the eting room and had tea set up for her guests.

It was not long before a small group was led in.

If they were given respect before, they lost it the mont the 2 n leered at her body.

The third mber made Ethry frown deeply.

She felt the quiver of Qi that only a slave collar would give off.

"I think you all should leave before I kill you where you stand."

Ethry stood up to leave but the n blocked the door.

She sensed they were only Star Tiers.

They dared stand in her way, a peak Moon Tier?!

She was one step away from Sun Tier but was polishing her foundation as the leap to Sun Tier, even for her, was not easy.

"But Lady Ethry, we ca to make a bargain on behalf of our organization.

Surely, you needed assistance in a city as big as this?"

Many groups ca calling to take a piece of the pie that Moebius Sect had beco.

There were, however, harsh lines not to be crossed.

Lind's feelings on slavery were clear.

"Reya."

Ethry spoke one na and the aura of a Sun Tier flattened the 2 n.

The fanatics of Lind were still loyal to them.

So progress in llowing them had worked over the centuries but any threat brought out the vicious side quite quickly.

The red haired woman seed to appear from thin air, which was not entirely impossible as her grasp of space manipulation was stunning.

"Leave, or die."

Reya's cold voice made her beauty all the more stark to the now panicked n.

"B-but we brought a gift!"

The other young man pointed at the still hooded slave.

Ethry sneered but then froze.

Her nose slled sothing familiar.

It was impossible!

She whipped the hood back to reveal a demoness with her eyes gone!

The scarred tissue was long healed but clearly had been inflicted by sothing vicious.

Physical recovery was possible when ascending to the Sky Realm or Heaven Realm.

That damage was nothing compared to the similar features in her lavender skin.

Reya, normally unaffected, was shocked.

Her mouth hung open with no way to speak.

"WHERE DID YOU FIND HER?!"

Reya scread but the n were nearly turned into paste before Ethry stopped her.

Her reptilian eyes scared them more.

"S-she was at an auction and we recognized her features from the many images of–"

Ehtry blew flas out and wiped the n from existence.

"I can't find Lind, but it seems the spirits are still listening."

Ethry snapped the collar off the woman and she finally was able to speak.

"Did you say Lind?

Lind Frey?"

A smile crossed her face but only revealed more scars.

Ethry quickly summoned several people.

"Yes, I am his wife, Ethry.

Little Sister to Cyntilla."

Mira ca into the room at Ethry's words and blanched when she saw the demoness.

Ilyria was behind her but was shocked out of her lethargy for a change.

"By the spirits, who did this to you?!"

Mira's voice was cold and Ethry turned to Reya.

"Trace back everything.

We are going to kill them all!"

Her voice beca guttural as scales spread on her body.

The demoness was the spitting image of Cynitlla but had black streaked with white hair instead!

It was her mother they had been searching high and low for centuries!

She had been enslaved and maid!

The Moebius Sect went to war once more and shook the world.
