With the kraken's permission, Lind returned to the cavern and looked at it with new eyes. They had talked for over a month but he had told Lind that the baby was far from being born.

A nascent kraken was not born in the mortal realm but nurtured to the Immortal Realm before taking their first breath!

Further, the kraken lifecycle was harsh. Once born, the child would be lacking in intelligence and only be a ball of instinct. How such a race ca to be scread of interference from so outside force.

The impregnation was fairly standard but once the female kraken felt the pull on her energies, she began to shift her form and created a surface cradle. The Qi, Laws, Daos, and all forms of energy were fed into the nurturing spire ford from her tentacles.

The reason Lind could not pierce more than the surface level was because she was a Master Tier!

She was in a kind of slumber as well. She was focused on protecting and nurturing her child. Children were also damned rare in their race.

Their lifespans made even the blackshelled tortoise look like a child! The leviathans did not live as long but their power and strength did not fall short.

The leviathan lifecycle sounded a bit more normal but apparently they had a kind of dormant state when they went into seclusion.

Both races faced tribulations but their young shared a trait that was too similar to be a coincidence.

The young were born in the Immortal Realm!

Both races paid a harsh price for it but in the case of the leviathans, the mother and child would face a kind of trial during pregnancy in each major realm.

The krakens, however, did not. They simply were born with no sentience nor any innate skills. Even the race mory was locked until they faced their first tribulation. It was so unnatural that Lind knew it had to be only confirmation that the krakens had once been sothing else and turned against their will.

He would likely never know but it left him with the result that the baby was on the way.

Lastly, it did not take a genius to know that so other cultivator, like his current situation, had been allowed to leave the island either not knowing what it was or simply got back and spread the new information.

The result was, greed and curiosity drove others to co back. They were powerful beasts and if the krakens were hiding sothing, it was worth getting! Lind also knew that raising a best from birth was a far better way to get high quality resources without risk.

Still, given the size of the beasts, he suspected they did not do well in captivity.

He also had to wonder at the kind of power needed to contain them since the Wild Sea was not regularly raided by Divine Realm cultivators.

Lind also had a dark speculation that the vitality of the red stone was enough to help make a pill or elixir that added longevity to a cultivator. It was the worst purpose to put it too, but he had no doubt it was one of the many reasons they risked trying to get it.

As to what happened to the mother if they succeeded, the kraken did not answer him outright but the look on his face told volus.

The process of nurturing such a powerful child to the Immortal Realm was taxing even for a Master Tier. If the process was violently interrupted, the backlash would be severe.

Compared to an attack from their ho turf beneath the waves, the mother could still respond with aura alone and at the Master Tier, that was more than enough!

Lind also suspected the 2 beast races had no desire to cross each other during spawning. It was sothing of an unspoken rule in so beast races that they would actually defend prey in the midst of nurturing eggs or younglings for a ti to keep the balance.

Hunting to extinction was dangerous for predators and the more intelligent beasts knew that. He was also sure neither leviathan nor krakens needed to eat each other all that much as cultivators happily tossed themselves into danger and there were other races living in the Void Ocean.

All that information aside, Lind knew he would not gather any further information from trying to scan the red stone or the mountain around it. Both surfaces were far beyond his ability to pierce.

He could, however, analyze the flow of energy and see if he could complent it. The main thrust was obviously on the bottom of the red stone but he dared not ss with that.

If he even touched it, Lind would not even know how he died. A Master Tier direct link was suicidal no matter how he looked at it.

The flowing lines of power he could perceive around him were his best bet. It was clear they were so kind of natural array to harness the local resources in the atmosphere to flow into the child.

The side effect caused the manifestation of both beast and plants as the vitality was off the charts.

It also explained why they were so limited and capped at the Crystal Tier.

The formation was focused inward and anything above a certain threshold was taken away. The beasts and plants literally could not advance!

His own cultivation was safe as he was a Divine Realm and his energy far exceeded what was safe for the baby.

The other Immortals likely had protections on their robes when they arrived with the invasion parties.

It was fascinating but Lind frowned as he really could not improve it. Unlike humans, demons, and other races, beasts' natural arrays did not suffer from the flawed elental theories.

Not many would realize that without a direct comparison and given the nature of the current one, that was unlikely to ever happen. Still, Lind took it down as it could help him later.

What he could do was enhance what it was pulling in.

He sat down in a lotus position and began to slowly float over the red stone. The instant he was above it, he felt a powerful aura lock onto him.

It was not the kraken he was used to but he did not flinch. He did nothing, in fact, as he simply observed the patterns from the best position he could.

Once he had gathered enough information he moved away. He had no desire to die!

A cold sweat covered his body but he smiled too. He could do sothing!

The major issue was the mother had to safely convert and break down the higher quality Qi, Laws, and so forth to nurture her child safely to the Immortal Realm.

It was efficient but very slow! The dark plant at the base finally made sense, a natural buffer!

He added that to his notes now that he understood it.

He began to shimr with erald light as fine threads spread out but he was not engraving. It was his Art of Defiance!

He adapted it to alter the array around him. At first, he felt a spike in the previous aura but then it slowly faded as a kind of fascination flowed from her.

The once vibrant blue lines of power shifted to erald.

He was not adding his harmonic Qi at all or his Dao as that would lead to unknown complications he was more than aware of. Yet, his Art could speed up the process with no harm to the child.

The world outside the mountain picked up a breeze as flows of energy thickened and the Master Tier kraken poked his eyes up once more. The square shaped irises of his eyes narrowed not in suspicion but joy!

The phenona was what ca before birth!

The day ca and went but the storm of energy only kept increasing! Lind learned more as he continued and eventually was shocked when the array was changed internally! The mother had understood what he was doing and reciprocated his efforts!

The fact she grasped it so quickly humbled him as it showed he should not be arrogant. Still, both their efforts combined brought changes to the red stone.

It began to glow with power and he felt it then. The power of Heaven and Earth as a major realm was crossed.

No tribulation ca but it was endured and consud into the child. An Immortal aura was coming from it!

Lind slowly backed off his Art and the red stone physically. He did not know what was about to happen but he doubted he would get a chance again to see it.

The flow of energy peaked even after he stopped but it was fine. The baby was ready.

The island began to shake yet Lind noticed the plants and beasts were dying. They withered away before dispersing into Qi.

They were born from the mother and now they returned to her. He wished he could save them but he did not have the ans and falling into the Void Ocean as an Immortal was a death sentence.

A loud crack drew him back as the red stone now had a massive crack along its top and smaller ones showing on the sides. A flash of white was seen inside before a screech was heard and the stone shattered.

He easily withstood it as a relatively small mass of white appeared in the cavern. It had short and stubby tentacles sprawling around while the main body rolled along the floor.

It kept screeching but Lind rely smiled. It was not adorable by any standard humans would accept but to Lind, a baby was a baby.

He let it roll but the cavern began to shake. He looked towards the beach and quickly picked up the baby.

It latched on to him and tried to bite him! He only laughed as he quickly flew to the beach and set the baby down. It happily sank in and the Master Tier Kraken was there to receive it.

Not a mont later the mountain shattered the island apart!
