It took so ti for Barbatos to gather the people he could be sure were on his side. Even then, he had to have a legitimate reason for the gathering.

Given the desire for the invasion faction, he put forth the idea to compare resources between each forest that could be used for the war. It allowed the gathering of various Sovereign Tiers as it had been happily accepted by the invasion faction.

The witch had tagged along but no one cared where she went so long as it was away from them.

Lind had expanded his ho to include a work area that would allow him to begin his plan in earnest.

He felt several presences gathering but was surprised at how small the number was. He had expected at least a dozen but only 7 showed up including Barbatos.

There were 6 beasts and 1 demon. He frowned but then realized how few Sovereign Tiers existed could be lower than he thought or Barbatos excluded the lower minor realms.

He sent a ssage to the dryad to fulfill his requests as he could at least get them gathered as well.

He then finished Forging the beams of dark wood to complete the ceiling vents and reinforce the structure. It would need to hide what he was going to do.

He erged into relative silence compared to normal. The chirps of birds and the twitter of smaller animals were absent due to the group in front of him. He saw the beasts were all in humanoid form but a single scent told him what was before him.

A qilin was there and was shaking just looking at him. The man had long hair nearly black as night. He was clearly a different variety from the ones in the Rubyfire Empire.

A quick analysis let him place him. His eyes were faintly aqua in color which would make him a Shimr Qilin. They were the weakest version due to being aligned with water elents over lightning.

It made them very weak to their relative races.

A very short woman actually made him smile as he recognized a stone dral. She was very compact and her robes looked like granite in its striations. A Granite Dral was powerful but the weight of that stone made it hard for them to grow normally.

It made them slower too but in exchange, their hits were harsh. Her hair was a tight pixie cut of grays and white with a dash of black.

Her eyes were dark pools but she had the most courage compared to the others, even Barbatos.

Surprisingly, the other 3 beasts were tigers like Barbatos but they were lower bloodlines.

A simple black and gold striped tiger was before him. It was the lowest bloodline but still had the agility and speed of his race. The man was not as robust as Barbatos but Lind noticed calluses on his hands for a weapon. A spear most likely.

The last 2 were twins. Pure white robes seed to spark at tis. Lighting Tigers were fast but had low battle ability. If they had cultivated their innate lightning ability, however, he could see them being effective in the right environnt.

The fact they were peak Sovereign Tiers and so young showed they had indeed mastered their elental attacks.

The demoness was odd to him. HIs senses let him see spirits gathering around her but there was also a dark cloud following her. A curse? Yet the spirits seed to enjoy talking to her.

His eyes glowed briefly and he felt a strong connection to the spirit world in her. He also saw karmic Qi slowly shifting from black to gold. A Penance Curse.

It forced the victim to act against their interests and in the service of others. Death was not the only punishnt of the Heavens and it seed the demoness was given a chance at redemption but it would possibly take the rest of her life to release the curse.

She would also not be able to advance one iota past her current cultivation realm so long as the curse was applied to her.

"Welco, please follow ." Barbatos looked nervously at the witch but he did not care. The group followed him inside and he quickly turned back to them. "We have no ti but did you bring the resources or items you want modified?"

The tigers frowned at him but a flare of his aura made them shiver. The short Granite Dral hopped forward.

"Here, Big Brother True Lord!" Her boisterous tone made it hard to keep the tension but he examined the wildly massive war axe.

It had a length that was better for Lind than her but the mont he took it, he felt resistance to his presence. A weapon spirit! It was dormant due to lack of Qi but it was still there.

[It is all right, I will make you better for her and awaken you.] The spirit seed riled but he did not care. As he had said, there was no ti.

The hearth lit up with erald flas as he would not hold back for these creations. The whole axe head barely fit but it was enough to warm the tal as he looked at the short woman.

His eyes glowed that left no secrets. She hid nothing as she knew he was going to help her grow stronger!

He smiled before all of them felt a wave of elental Qi that nearly buckled their knees! The sigils that appeared shortly after only filled them with shock as the axe was reduced in size until it beca 2!

The spirit was safely split between them and the pair felt more profound as they glowed with erald sigils that fused to the tal. The silver axe blades also felt dangerous as he handed them back.

"Arken! You are awake!" The pair of axes shook with joy.

"It is limited but should last for at least 10 years inside a forest. Outside of it, I can only promise a year at full power." Shock filled the room. Only monts had passed but Lind had transford a peak Law Grade weapon to better fit the Granite Dral!

He then turned to the others who quickly moved to comply.

The striped tiger gave him a spear as expected but Lind saw it was barely holding together. The shaft was cracked and the spirit was long dead. The tal was also in such a poor state that he could not salvage it. Yet the tiger gave him 2 ores and a wood shaft to rge with the weapon.

Reviving it was impossible but using it as a base was enough to help him. Lind looked at the man and slowly nodded.

They all watched as the tals were ward as the shaft was worked on at the sa ti! The tals beca molten as the scent of pine filled the room. Barbatos and the twins looked at the striped tiger in confusion but he only looked earnestly at Lind.

The loud clang of a hamr on tal drew their eyes as Lind now created the shape of the spear point and a counter blade!

The shaft was then engraved with a weaving that fused the 2 tal pieces. There was no crossguard at either blade but the striped tiger looked excited as they all felt the potential of the blade. It was far more powerful than anything they felt before!

Lind was sweating and downed several elixirs to recover as he held the new spear in front of him. The shaft was a pale but powerful wood with good resilience and flexibility all on its own. His weavings just made it better as he Forged the blades. The main blade could call plasma to cut almost anything while the counter blade had speed at its core with a deflection effect that could be triggered.

"The spirit can be awakened in the future with good nurturing. Test the balance and let

know of any issues." The man wept as he took the spear and left the room. The Granite Dral suddenly had the sa idea to test her weapons and left.

The twins now were eager as they produced 2 unexpected weapons. A pair of flying blades ca from one that looked remarkably similar to a legendary warrior woman he knew while the other held out a set of sai.

The sai blades were rather simple but peak grade 7 weapons. The flying blades were like a frisbee with nothing in the middle but he noticed so broken formations on the inner circle.

He realized he was holding a Divine weapon! It was broken but the power was there. He smiled as he returned the ore to that twin.

"I won't need it for these." He started with the sai as the tigress had give him purple striped gold with fire iron that had heat all its own. He put the weapons into the hearth while the ores were separately reduced to a molten state.

He examined the tigress once more and nodded as he quickly Forged the 2 weapons. One sai ca out with a violet shade and golden flecks while the other felt warm to the touch. He then used a weaving to tie the 2 together as he had with the pair of axes.

His dantian was feeling drained once more but he smiled as he returned the weapons to her. They were now spirit weapons as well but she would need to nurture the spirit like the others.

After downing more elixirs, he turned to the flying blades. A smirk crossed his features as he began to engrave into the air and conjured his elental nodes to the very limit. He was going to test himself as he could tell sothing the owner could not.

Only the formations were broken. The physical base needed no Forging at all. His weavings beca more and more profound until the pressure made all of them break out in sweat.

He was reaching his limit when the traces finally touched the broken arrays. The instant the inscriptions were bridged, they began to repair all on their own! Yet Lind realized he was in danger!

He had to start downing elixirs as his elents were drained like a whirlpool had ford in the 2 weapons!

Pressure ca off of them as the pair of circular flying blades floated up on their own and 2 spirits briefly appeared and smiled at him before returning to their bodies.

They returned to their mistress on their own who wept in joy.

"Nur and Ran, welco back. My ancestors are gone but I humbly offer myself as your wielder." Her respect was clear and Lind nodded with approval as the blades humd and returned to her hips.

Barbatos looked up in joy but Lind smirked and pointed outside.

"Get

the rest. I said all Immortals. Leave the demoness with

and co back when the rest are here." The twins bowed swiftly and left smiling until only the pair remained alone.

The demoness then knelt reverently on one knee in front of him.

"Sovereign Frey, I offer my forest to you. I am yours to command." A twitch on his brow was all he revealed but Lind felt the spirits jumping around her in joy. He sighed and massaged his forehead.

Why could things not be simple?
