Lind spent another week cultivating before he began his experints. While he was able to produce greater power, he also found several annoying limitations.
Due to the fact his elental nodes were closer to being Dao, he had a smaller pool of elental Qi to use. Even his remarkable capacity ant nothing if he could not use it!
His Laws, on the other hand, beca almost a joke. He could use them with ease and those he had not spent much ti on were now child's play to improve. The Laws he focused on were related to elixirs and Forging.
His weaving had long outstripped the Immortal Realm but the other 2 were falling behind due to not spending ti improving them.
While he could devote ti to push the limits, the foundation of them was now lacking compared to before he entered the Inheritance.
It took a week just getting all the Laws to the peak before he had a breakthrough in his productions across the board. It was so damned easy!
What was not so easy was his ingredients. While he had the ability, he did not have the materials to reach the peak. Haro suddenly let him know more of the ring was available.
As if answering his prayers, he found materials that were not only at the peak of the Immortal Realm but a few he knew for a fact were grade 8!
He did not ss with those as he wanted to master the Immortal Realm. Skipping ahead would not help him.
Another week of pushing himself resulted in new items.
A row of elixirs shining with golden flecks were arranged neatly in front of him. Peak Law Grade!
He was only a Radiant Tier but he could now make peak Law Grade like it was nothing!
The azure elixirs were Restorative Elixirs that replenished Qi and stamina in equal asure. It would normally take 3 pills to make the sa effect! The crimson elixirs were the Recovery Elixirs of old but now they had a third effect aside from healing the body and restoring Qi. They also healed the soul!
He was shocked! The higher quality elixirs added more effects!
There was a row of virulent green vials but they were not poisonous. They were demonic Augntation Elixirs. They literally improved the flow of Qi by a major Tier while protecting the ridians and dantian from damage! He had never pulled off such an elixir before!
The various elixirs exhausted the supply of ingredients he had so far as herbs went. He had natural, demonic, and Celestial elixirs.
The last set was the most stunning. He had been so limited but now golden, cerulean, and viridian vials swirled with Celestial Qi in front of him.
Rather than restore or repair, they actually improved cognition, manipulation, or so other aspects of a Celestial. It helped them cultivate more than anything!
The last vial, the only singular vial, however left him in awe.
Soul Refinent Elixir!
He had broken down the Laws of his essence for several herbs but the beast core was the key. It had sparkled with stars to his senses and when he cracked it open, he found an essence unlike any he had found before.
It let him combine the aspects of Laws to make sothing he had never heard of. The Soul Refinent Elixir was a ga changer! He could let a 6 elental refine their soul with that elixir alone!
The insights he had imprinted on the jade slips would help those that could grasp them but the elixir enacted the changes directly!
He put them all in his ring and looked at the next area.
He had Forged new weapons and artifacts. He had made a simple broadsword but it shimred with power just laying where it was. Unlike before, he did not make spirit tools directly but those that could beco spirit tools in ti.
The difference between the 2 beca more clear to him as he had advanced. Spirit tools had their use but were limited by their creator at the ti they were made. It would take reworking them to exceed their functions.
Protean had been constantly upgraded to the point he could grow on his own, but the other tools he made would reach a ceiling that only a fortuitous encounter could allow them to grow.
A potential spirit tool, on the other hand, could improve all on its own! It was entirely possible the items in front of him could beco grade 8 or more later depending on who claid them.
Peak Law grade was more like a transitional phase than a set limit. It was the limit of the Immortal Realm but that was only a starting line.
He now understood how true experts wanted items that could grow with them over ti. It made life far simpler than having to replace hard won items at every major realm.
He put them all away for the future as he consolidated his gains. His dantian humd with power and his body felt like it had finally fully recovered.
He had one final thing he wanted to test, but he needed to be at his peak.
The last week of the month he was given he began to make schematics for sothing new. He had struggled making sky ships and starships that did not require complex support weavings and Forging to work.
He wanted sothing simpler. For that, he had to start with the power source. With his new insights he had beco ambitious.
The major problem was the power core. He had always had to create almost gargantuan cores that required support which made the ships far bigger than what they could actually carry.
While he knew advanced submarines and other ships had similar issues, he always knew he wanted more for his creations.
He had used harmonic crystals to solve his starship power problems previously but now he tried a new idea. Law grade Forging let him try sothing unprecedented.
Rather than cheat with his harmony, he wanted to make a power source that he could build on in the future.
He found materials like Starfused Iron, Core Purple Gold, and others were all peak grade 8 tals but he also had access to Law Crystals! It was still expensive to use but he broke them down to make what he wanted.
A Shadow Crystal and Veined Fire Crystal were his first targets as he actually broke them down to separate the various aspects that made up the Laws of each crystal.
In the 4th layer, Law Crystals were far more common and those 2 were the most common of them. The only other one would be so version of tal laws but he did not need them for power.
The Shadow Crystal let him use so variants of gravity Laws as well as phasing Laws. The Veined Fire Crystal let him use Laws of displacent and a few others as well. He played with the combinations until a new Law Crystal ford.
He could actually make Law Crystals! Unlike a Law Core that worked with a Law Array, the Law Crystal could conform to his needs all on its own!
Peak Law grade was no joke!
The Law Crystal floated all on its own. It was sothing new! He realized he did not have a na for the Law Crystal in front of him! He was not done yet, either.
He let his fingers glow with erald light as he Forged a cage around the Law Crystal. It accepted the alloys and he now had a Law Crystal in a dark tal cage floating freely and outputting an aura on par with a Sovereign Tier!
He smiled but making it was only the beginning. He then quickly made mock connections and controls. They were normal but he ran into problems at that point. The panels exploded the instant he hooked them up and he realized he had a new problem.
Too much power!
He modified the connections and found he had to change the underlying construction entirely. He had to put in tals like Golden Sink Steel to absorb part of the power before it got to the controls.
It could then be distributed to his weavings! He tested it and it took the rest of the week but his new power core worked! He then analyzed the drain on the Law Crystal and it hardly affected it!
He focused on studying his creation before he finally felt the concept he had synthesized in his mind.
"Law of Power." He laughed at the simplicity of its na but it was more than just energy. It defied gravity, generated energy, and desired to be free.
"That is impressive." The voice made him jump as he found the Divine Soul looking on. How long had they been there?
"It solves a problem I had when I beca an Immortal. I think I can downgrade it for the lower layers too but that will be a project for the future." The soul seed to want to know more but then moved on.
"It is ti for your last trial. Spirits help you, it is the most difficult. Understand that even I at my peak failed to grasp all of what you are about to face. I took this trial from another Divine Realm rather than leave it as a Ruin." Lind swallowed nervously as he nodded.
He got back to his peak and the room vanished around him.
