Haro was barely aware of the world anymore. Normally, he existed as his natural form of a ring and served his current master but sothing horrific happened when Lind beca a Radiant Tier.
It was completely unplanned and extrely dangerous but he realized Lind did not even try to live! He had given up! Haro knew his master very well and knew his righteous streak was dangerous.
It was fine to have a bottom-line and react to it appropriately, but after becoming a Heaven Realm, Lind had faced the Fiends directly.
He grasped the true threat of the Great One but even Haro could see Heaven and Earth were guiding him. He would hardly be the first to stumble into a Fate as their Dao Path was established.
Heaven was fair but always sought that fairness in its own way. The Great One had shattered that, clearly, so it seed a response had caused people like Lind to be reborn at an insane level.
Reincarnators were not unheard of but the frequency had been very high whereas so records indicated it was far less common long ago.
Haro had served 2 other masters and only knew of the Fiends as they were. Lind's revelations had opened his eyes to the true level of the cri the Great One had done.
Thus, he knew that while his Master was forlorn about the cost of his survival, it was the fact that Heaven clearly acted to make such an impossible salvation possible.
Partially consud souls should not have any ability to make a decision to walk let alone defend a living cultivator from a blast.
Haro made a choice and took 2 of the black lightning bolts as Lind seed to be in the midst of resolving his heart demon. It was a minor one but in the midst of a tribulation, it was a death sentence.
As his tool spirit, it was his choice to protect his master. Heaven had punished him by stripping Lind of his True Lord status!
Haro had known it was possible but it was the only way to buy ti!
He hoped to explain but his existence hung by a thread.
Ti beca a fog for him at that point. So flashes of mountains covered in clouds with no landmasses. He knew they had ascended to the 3rd layer.
Sothing was wrong though.
Lind was alone. Why was he alone? What was going on?! Haro wanted to know but he could not exert himself at all. The bond between him and Lind was shattered so he could not recover!
Suddenly, sothing familiar and dangerous touched his spirit. His sluggish vision cleared to reveal a stone room with a leather couch and dark wooden desk ca into view as a little Heaven Realm fox was cowering next to Lind's prone body.
Haro felt his spirit partially recover as the aura of an aether fox was very good for him! They were close to spirits in general but the white and gold fur told him she was likely a descendent of the Divine Nine Tail!
Weak though it was, it was enough to reinvigorate him to grasp what was happening.
"Please no, please no, please no–" She was whimpering but the thing coming through the walls would not care. Haro looked at the wall behind the desk as the air distorted.
Normal vision could not see them but he could! How were they here?! They should not be here at all!
What was wrong with Lind?! He quickly touched his soul and frowned. The erald fla normally blazing at the heart of him was barely flickering. It was about to snuff out!
[Mas–Lind! You are going to die! You need to wake up!] The mont he tried to call him master, Haro felt pain lance his spirit. The bond was shattered by his own actions and Lind lost his status.
The only reason he could stay was he was dying.
[Lind, your family will lose you! Get up!] The man did not stir and the distortion was getting closer as the poor little fox began to turn pale. Ti was running out!
[Lanbao will not be avenged! The Great One will win! Lind, wake up!] Haro was getting weaker now too. He had no defense against them in his current state.
He quickly looked through the ring storage and desperately hoped he could remove sothing.
He found what he needed and a vial barely left the ring before it shattered on the ground. Golden Qi flowed up as 6 elents encircled Lind and the fox girl as vapors.
Haro barely held on as the distortion pulled back. A smirk crossed his taphorical face at that mont.
Yet, the elixir could not last forever. The mist was fading but finally a change happened. The 6 elents in Lind's dantian that matched the Celestial Qi released re-ignited the harmonic fla!
Lind's eyes snapped open as his hands glowed with power and weaving occurred at extre speeds but purely of Celestial Qi!
The sigils were low grade 7 but the profound aura was devastating to the distortion in the air.
"BREAK!" His shout was far louder than normal as the weaving swept outward like a shockwave. An inhuman screech filled the room before echoes ca from the open door. There were more of them!
Lind was breathing heavily as if he had pushed himself to the limits but Haro could believe he had. Of the 3 elental sets, the Celestial Qi is the most limited.
It took far more strength to get the sa result.
Lind looked down at his ring in shock but Haro had exhausted himself. He was about to fade back into the murky depths when a soothing balm washed over him. It did not repair him but it did allow him to stay conscious.
[What was that?] Haro was not sure how to explain. It was part of the restricted knowledge but the fact they were there would normally allow an exception. Unfortunately, things were not as they were.
[I cannot answer that question, Lind Frey. I am sorry but I cost you your status due to my selfish actions.] He did not hide the truth and shock went over the tanned face of Lind.
[I thought–I thought it was my choice–] Haro frowned ntally but he had little ti to indulge in their usual conversation.
[Lind, I am dying due to my own desire to help you. I know you did not want to live at that ti because of what happened to those souls. I agree with you.] More shock and a gentle look ca over Lind's face.
A desperation was in his erald eyes Haro had never seen before but the world was fading fast.
[It has been an honor and you can regain your status. It was lost because you did not face the tribulation but I did not obey an order either. You still have the vitality so there is a chance. Grasp it! For , please regain what you lost!] Haro scread out as darkness closed in and the world fell away.
Was he about to die? His long life did not co back to him but his first mory did.
An old woman with leathery skin was smiling down at him as he was removed from the mold he was in. The searing furnace was made from materials other refiners would sell their souls for.
{Another success! The dragons gave
a challenge with these Divine Spirit Rings! Welco to the world, little one. I will call you Haro.} Her eyes were very pale but her hair was neatly tied back up into a tight bun.
She set him next to several other rings and knew they were his brothers and sisters. They were all plain black but they were profound storage artifacts!
{Ah, last one done! You are all good little kids and it will be ti to go out into the world soon. I hope you live long lives and have good masters.} Her gnarled fingers gently caressed them all and the nascent Haro felt touched.
His creator was so kind!
Haro relished the mory and barely felt the pain as his spirit cracked entirely. The end had co.
He was about to fade into oblivion when a thunderous sound filled the ring. Erald lightning danced along the inside and ensnared his existence.
[I swore to do nothing but for my own strength yet you saved my life twice and expected
to be that cold?! As if I am that ungrateful?!] Lind's voice reached him in such a decrepit state?
A sinuous dragon appeared inside the ring and held Haro together. He felt touched but the words only caused him to smirk.
Roundabout way to say he would not let Haro die.
Profound sigils appeared with all 18 elents and his harmony infused. The sigils and traces connected with materials inside the ring. The massive pile of resources Lind had filled it with over the millennia were snuffed out entirely!
Just what was he doing?!
Slowly, ever so slowly, the cracks healed as the weaving fused with Haro. The flow of Qi returned and Haro felt pain return in full! Still, he endured as the process sped up until he was recovered enough to hibernate to fully recover.
The sensation of being called filled him but he resisted to look at Lind.
[Thank you, forr Master. I believe in you.] It was the last thing he could say before the familiar sensation of being summoned pulled him away. Lind tried to call out but nothing got through.
Haro fell into a deep sleep and wondered how long before he was chosen again. He hoped to learn of Lind's fate at that ti but only ti would tell if Fate was that kind.
