But then he saw the chocolate. The boy, who didn't even know that he had died and had just been resurrected, slowly sat up with his sister's help. Then he hesitantly took the chocolate from Jayden's hand and began to eat it under Nira's encouraging words.
Just like before, Nara also underwent a big transformation after he finished the chocolate. His eyes were filled with astonishnt and joy. He no longer felt that hunger.
"T- Thank you." The pair of siblings cried as they hugged each other and thanked Jayden, bowing deeply. This was definitely the best day of their life so far.
"It's—" Jayden was about to reply when he sensed several presences approaching, releasing intense killing intent toward him and the siblings, who were obviously unaware of it as it didn't reach them.
"Just stay here. I have to deal with a few things." Jayden smiled as he patted the heads of both the kids, then he stood up and turned.
By now, more than a hundred guards had arrived there after hearing the news of soone helping the people of the black zone. It was the biggest cri in their universe. Everyone hid as they looked at Jayden and the two kids with pity—the three of them were about to die.
"T- They are…" Nira and Nara had also noticed these people by now. They were so scared that they shivered and hid behind Jayden, worried that all of them were about to die. That is what happens to anyone who helps these people.
Jayden's face remained calm even if he felt anger rise in him. He stood in front of the two kids and walked toward the approaching guards.
Today, blood will pour from the sky and land will be replaced by corpses.
"Who gave you the permission to provide food to these things?" one of the guards in the lead shouted. They were all carrying different weapons.
Only the few at the front were going to act, and more than a hundred were there just to put pressure on anyone. Since who could defend against these guards? All of them—people— don't have any ability to fight.
Anyone who had the possibility of getting strong was killed prematurely by the emperor. He didn't want what he did to happen to him, so he didn't allow anyone to grow strong in any way.
"Do I need soone's permission?" Jayden smiled faintly as he stopped in front of the guards. The long street was filled with guards, and more and more kept coming.
The people of the black zone were scared out of their wits, and all they could do was hide. This was why they were so afraid of the emperor and his people.
"Hahaha! This one's got a tongue. Which house in the golden area are you from? Because of you, these two kids and your house will be killed, and then all the corpses will be hung in front of everyone until you rot away." The sa guard laughed and said. His words almost made Nira and Nara pass out.
"Well, what are you waiting for then? Go ahead and attack." Jayden spoke in a calm tone, making the guard confused.
After he observed Jayden carefully, he felt that he didn't belong to their planet. He had never seen anyone like him. He looked too strange— was he an alien? A monster?
"Are you from another planet? Tell anything, or if the emperor were to punish you himself, then you would beg even to die. This is your last warning," the guard said, now acting a bit more cautious as he raised his weapon and got ready.
"Cut the crap. Will your emperor co here if I kill you all?" Jayden asked as he took off the conical hat from his head, now properly revealing his face.
"W-What do you an?" The guard was shocked at first, but then a bad feeling filled him, so he roared: "Attack!! Kill him!! He is a sinner, all of you charge forward!"
All the guards were stunned for a mont. Weren't they here just to make up for the numbers? Why would so many people need to attack just to kill one insignificant person? But they had to move after receiving the order.
In the next mont, more than a hundred of these creatures rushed forward, ready to cut Jayden down into pieces.
While the latter stood there calmly, as the guards were about to get close to him, he simply threw the hat forward. It flew across the space from between all the guards. It seed as if it was moving very slowly. All the guards looked at the hat that flew past their sides in an instant.
Before they even knew it, the hat was back in Jayden's hand, and blood was dripping from the edges.
The guards froze as they wondered what had happened, but then suddenly the world began to spin. All the guards beca confused, but then they saw the headless bodies around them.
THUD THUD THUD THUD THUD
More than a hundred heads fell down to the ground at the sa ti. Then the bodies fell; except for the guard at the front, all of them had died in just a mont after getting decapitated.
"W-What?!!" The only guard fell to his knees in horror as he looked back when the shouts suddenly quieted down. All he saw were corpses and blood. Everyone was stunned and horrified.
Only the two kids behind Jayden couldn't see this scene— it was as if a dark wall had appeared in front of them— but they now felt calm.
"Hey, call all of your guards, all of your people, right now!!" Jayden ordered, and the shivering guard nodded before pulling a stick.
He broke it and then shot a signal into the sky. He was so terrified that he ended up spoiling his clothes as a putrid sll filled the area.
Now that his task was done, the guard disappeared into a spatial crack along with the sll, never to be seen again.
"Don't worry and just stay here. I will take care of everything." Jayden smiled and spoke to the two children, who nodded hastily. Then he flew into the sky and waited.
Within ten minutes, thousands upon thousands of guards began to swarm up the whole place; it seed as if the entire army had been summoned there. That dirty guard had released the highest order signal, which would imdiately gather all the army under the emperor.
The conical hat from Jayden's hand had already disappeared. What replaced it was a small knife which was black in color and seed to be made of space itself. He waited a little longer for the entire army to gather.
Nearly ten minutes later, Jayden was surrounded by the guards from all around. The number was clearly more than fifty thousand, and soon it would even reach up to a lakh. Jayden could also feel the emperor Decay gazing at him from his house, but he still didn't make a move yet. It seed he wanted to test out Jayden's strength.
This emperor was too cautious and seed afraid of the unknown.
