Inside a room full of darkness, where the silence threatened to consu everything, the light clinking of chains could be heard.
At the center of the room sat a woman with injuries all over her body, which had remained the sa over such a long period of ti.
No blood or flesh could be seen on her body, which consisted only of bones, skin, and her barely existing organs. One of her eyeballs was missing, while she had closed the remaining eye, as if she had been sleeping for a long ti.
Her breathing was slow and steady, her dried lips curved as if the corpse-like woman was smiling. This scene was enough to scare even a grown man.
This jade beauty was none other than Anna Blake, who was enjoying her long-awaited revenge, seeing Zeus being humiliated by Jayden.
Her entire body was bound by chains, making it impossible for her to move around much, but after spending such a long ti in this space, she was no longer bothered by any of it.
The space and ti of this place were completely separate from the outside world, so she had been staying in this corrosive darkness longer than the ti outside.
Her connection with Jayden made it a lot easier for her to stay there, and because of that connection, she was feeling ti at the sa speed as Jayden, even if her body stayed in that space.
Anna felt happy that Emma was safe and was now living such a happy life. After all, she was her sister’s daughter, and even before she was born, her life was bound to be full of hardships; not even Emma’s mother was able to escape that fate.
After Anna disappeared from the outside world, the world had almost forgotten her, and she had little idea of things happening outside.
Only through Jayden could she learn about different things, and that’s how she found out that the universal tournant was finally going to take place.
Anna was well aware that this tournant was going to bring extre changes to the entire universe and even to her. She wasn’t sure what kind of fate awaited her, but there was nothing that she could do.
While Anna was concentrating, she suddenly sensed so presence around her. She knew very well who these beings were.
She opened her eye, and a frown appeared on her forehead. These people were responsible for keeping her here and had even destroyed her family, but even she was not able to defeat them.
Those beings didn’t enter; it was just a reminder for Anna that the day of the tournant was approaching. Still, she could see the six shadows lingering on top of that space, their auras perfectly mixing with the space there.
She could still rember their appearances as if they had just fought the previous day, even though it had been so many years, and Anna hated them with all her being.
"What do you want now?" Anna spoke in her barely audible, rough, and dry voice. She felt her throat burning; it had been quite so ti since she last spoke.
No reply ca from the other side. These beings weren’t aware of her connection with Jayden, so Anna pretended to not know anything about the tournant, clearly showing her rage toward them.
"THE DATE OF THE TOURNANT HAS BEEN SET; YOU WILL BE OUT OF HERE VERY SOON. REJOICE, THE DAY YOU AWAITED IS CLOSE." Finally, one of the figures spoke, but there was arrogance and mockery in his voice.
Anna didn’t reply. She wanted to kill every single one of them, to give them the pain she and her family had been through, but right now it was just impossible.
The six of them lowered toward the floor, and their figures were finally visible. All of them looked exactly the sa, as their bodies didn’t possess any shape or have any kind of appearance.
They would look different in the eyes of different people, and to Anna, they all looked like six walking corpses, their bodies riddled with injuries, the images exactly what she wanted to make them go through.
"HAHA, IT IS GOOD TO KNOW THAT THIS SPAN OF TI DIDN’T DECREASE YOUR HATRED FOR US. IT WOULDN’T HAVE BEEN GOOD IF YOUR SOUL WAS SO EASILY BROKEN; THEN YOU WOULD HAVE BECO TRULY USELESS," another being spoke. Even their voices sounded exactly the sa since they didn’t possess any voice or use any language, but they could still converse with any living being in the entire universe.
"Believe , there will co a day when I am going to laugh over your dead bodies, and it won’t be very far away," Anna spoke, her voice sounding hoarse while her throat burned even more.
The laughs of the six people sounded in the room, but it slowly beca distant, and soon all of them disappeared from there.
Anna gritted her teeth until they almost broke. Seeing those six again reminded her of the ti when every single mber of her family was killed by them. They didn’t even spare the children, wiping out an entire family.
After a few minutes, she cald herself down and decided to tell Jayden about these people, since it was ti that he knew who were the ones controlling the strings in their universe behind the scenes.
"Sigh. The day of battle is slowly approaching, and I fear there will again be sacrifices made. The feeling of powerlessness is the worst; I can only observe it all and do nothing," Anna thought, sighing to herself.
Outside of the house where Jayden was staying on Mount Olympus, Apollo, along with soone else, was floating in the sky, keeping an eye on it.
Apollo originally planned to bring Athena with him to catch or even kill Jayden; after all, she is extrely strong and intelligent, and her strategies were second to none.
Your next chapter is on .Côm
But luck was not on his side since she had gone away to et soone and wouldn’t be back for the next few days, and many of his trusted people were either busy or useless for this situation.
So, left with no other choice, he planned to go and watch Jayden’s movents alone. He gave up on the idea of killing him for now, but soon he noticed that soone had actually followed him.
It was none other than his mother, Leto, who was worried about Apollo since he had been acting weird for quite so ti now and even got into that argunt where Zeus got angry.
Leto had always been protective of her children, and her tales were widespread already. Her love for Apollo and Artemis was stronger than any feeling, and she would stop at nothing to protect them.
So, seeing Apollo in that state, she understood that sothing was troubling her son and that it was not a small matter, so she decided to get involved too.
Today, she noticed him leaving again and then lingering over a certain house, so Leto could no longer hold back her curiosity and finally decided to ask him about it.
