"She must have acted like that because of you. Anyway, Richard and Sydney’s father had made a promise to get their children married if they were of the opposite gender, and the promises made among us dragons hold a lot of weight.
So unless either one or both of you refused to marry, you would have needed to fulfill that promise. Sydney at first opposed even the thought of marrying you, but after she ca here she was really happy, even though her coming here was a very risky thing.
Then both of you got married and beca husband and wife, but after you ran away from the orphanage, she had to return back ho, after which-" While she was speaking, Jayden suddenly interrupted her and spoke:
"Wait, wait, wait, when did the two of us ever get married? And I was so young at that ti too. I think you must be mistaken since I have never seen her again after that ti."
A confused expression appeared on the female dragon’s face as she questioned: "But I heard you two k- kissed each other, haven’t you?"

"Then you would be considered married, according to the dragon’s rules," she spoke.
"What kind of bullshit is that? So if I kiss you now, would we also be considered married?" he asked, staring at her.
"Yes, I think so. But don’t even think of that since I am already married. Hmph, even if I am too beautiful, I can just marry soone else in front of my husband," the woman spoke while shaking her head.
"Boy, don’t try to take my wife or we might have so problems," the male dragon finally spoke, with his eyes narrowed in anger as if he really might attack Jayden.
Imdiately, Hecate stepped forward and stood in front of the male dragon with her aura pressing down on him. With her eyes fixed on him, she spoke: "Jayden, don’t worry about this reptile. I’ll take care of him so you can kiss that woman."
"Oh no, they are fighting for . A handso and an average-looking dragon are fighting for . D-don’t even think of kissing ," the female dragon spoke.
"I won’t let you take my wife," the male dragon said as he got ready for the battle.
"Jayden, go ahead and kiss her. I’ll take care of everything," Hecate spoke.
"..." Jayden rubbed his forehead, wondering why the situation was escalating in a strange direction. Taking in a long breath, he shouted:
"Stop all three of you! I was just trying to prove a point. I am not actually going to kiss this woman. She isn’t even my type."
"Yeah, I guessed so. You could never have an interest in a woman like her," Hecate said as she relaxed and stood back with a smile.
"What?!! Why won’t you want ? Just what is wrong with ? Why don’t you want to kiss ?" the female dragon spoke. Then she looked at the male dragon and spoke: "Sweetie, he refused to kiss ."
"How dare you refuse to kiss my wife," the male dragon shouted with even more anger.
"..." Jayden just looked at the pair of wife and husband, wondering if dragons are just muscle-headed. Releasing a sigh, he spoke in a tired tone:
"Just relax for a bit, all of you. The main point was... Why would it be considered marriage just because she kissed once?"
But before the others could speak, Anna answered in his head: "Dragons are one of the most prideful creatures. The birth rate among them is very low, and they consider things like sex very sacred.
They won’t kiss or even hold each other’s hands before marriage. So, considering that she was your fiancée, you are as good as married in that sense."
"Oh! So you are planning to abandon your first wife after taking advantage of her. I didn’t expect sothing like that from the son of our previous dragon king. Sigh, I guess if you take control of our kingdom as the king, we might go down the wrong path under your rule," the woman spoke.
’It’s a good thing that I ended up in that coliseum which was filled with Zeus’s prisoners. If I had not gone there, then according to my original plan, I would have killed most of the dragons and absorbed their energies to increase my strength,’ Jayden thought.
"Okay, let’s forget about that for now. Tell if Sydney is in any kind of danger or a place where I might be able to find her," Jayden said, throwing everything out of his head. All that was left was the happiness of knowing that Sydney was alive and that he could et her again.
"No, she is not in any danger as of yet, but we don’t know where she could currently be. But please keep this thing with you at all tis. If you do so, then I am sure you will be able to et her again soon," she spoke, then she passed a small wooden tab to him. There was nothing written or printed on it.
It didn’t even have any kind of aura. It seed just like a normal wooden piece, but Jayden took it and placed it in his space ring. Even though he imdiately wanted to see Sydney, it seed he would have to wait a little longer.
"That’s all we ca to tell for now. We might et again in the future, and you shouldn’t try to find Sydney for now since you won’t be able to find her. Anyway, we will be leaving now." Then both of them turned around and began to walk away, but after arriving at the door of the hall, they stopped.
The female dragon turned around and looked at Jayden. Then she asked: "I am asking you for the last ti, do you really not want to kiss ?"
"Yes, I don’t. Thank you," Jayden said with a nod.

"Hmph, your loss then." After saying that, both of them disappeared, and Jayden stood there. His family party was finally completely over with so many things happening one after another.
"Let’s just go back ho. Emi has already fallen asleep," Sophie spoke. She was holding the sleeping Emma in her arms.
"Yes, let’s go." All of them walked out of the hall. Since they were in no mood to drive ho, Jayden ordered so drivers to bring all their cars back ho and then he teleported everyone back into their ho.
"No matter how much of an expensive place we go to, ho is definitely the most relaxing place. But why do I feel I have forgotten sothing?" Jayden spoke.
