The smile remained on her face for several seconds but when nothing happened even after so long an expression of confusion appeared on her face, she tried again yet nothing changed Hecate was just looking back at Veena wondering what she intended to do.
' Why is not it working? ' Veena thought while she kept trying to activate the trap, she had planned to use this trap to destroy all of Hecate's protective barrier and even injure her to a greater extent with an extrely powerful explosion she had worked quite hard to set it all up.
*TAP* *TAP* *TAP* *TAP*
All this ti the sound of Jayden tapping his feet kept ringing, and Veena was getting annoyed by it she looked at him and spoke: " Stop doing that, it's annoying."

But Jayden continued and stopped only when all of the light spots had disappeared from the ground, he looked around and did not find anything else like that, and then he looked at Veena who was obviously very angry and annoyed.
" Anyway there is no need to delay this any longer, we are leaving. " Hecate spoke as she took Jayden's arm and was about to stand up.
Veena inhaled a long breath and cald her mind then she spoke: " Hoo I don't know what happened earlier but it's good that I had set up more than one trap, I'm going to enjoy your suffering. " Veena said as a big smile appeared on her face.
" What do you an by th- COUGH COUGH " While speaking Hecate coughed out violently and threw out so blood, all of a sudden she felt her heart being twisted in pain and then the pain began to move all over her body.
" COUGH W- What have you done? Haa haa Did you really add poison to the food, don't you know what the COUGH COUGH the g- gesture of eating food on such occasions signifies? Do you think your m- mother would allow such a thing? "
Hecate asked as she clutched her belly, an expression of pain appeared on her face.
" Hehe, That's why I have not inford my mother about any of it it and planned the eting especially when she was away from here because of so other work, but don't worry you won't die just from this poison though soon you would be begging to die. " Veena spoke as she looked at Hecate with a cruel expression.
No matter what kind of cri soone had committed, it is against the rules of the witch queen to do sothing like this to the food they had eaten, it is a taboo amongst all the witches and yet Veena had done it behind her mother's back.
" Oh wait a mont I have another surprise for you, you already must have noticed it but these n are not from here so let clear your doubt, they are all Dragons from the Strom family, and after I'm done with you they will be taking you away. "
Veena spoke as she pointed towards the n sitting beside her, while all the dragons looked at Hecate with interest and lust, after all not all dragons are noble.
Veena had gone and broken all the rules set up by the witch queen, the rules that even Hecate had followed by coming to this eting despite being a criminal in the eyes of the rest of the witches.
Yet Veena paid no respect to the words of her mother she set up deadly traps, she poisoned the food which is almost like a sacred food for them and she even called people from other races at this occasion, Veena was no longer caring about the consequences she just wanted to deal with Hecate without letting her mother know.
While Veena was enjoying her victory her gaze moved from Hecate to Jayden and suddenly she felt her heart gripping with a feeling of dread, for the first ti after he had changed there was an emotion on his face and it was rage, uncontrolled rage all directed towards Veena.
His crystal like red eyes which seed extrely beautiful just a mont ago now looked as if a devil was staring at her, Veena couldn't understand why she was getting this strange feeling from Jayden who seed like a weak person just monts ago.
" I- It can't be, he is a dragon too? " One of the dragons from the Strom family spoke, all nine of the n were weaker than Garett but with their combined strength they could have easily killed even Garett.
" He is a dragon? " Veena mumbled, yet it didn't explain why she was feeling like that, she couldn't believe that he was stronger than her.
While Jayden who was just relaxing on his chair and looking around suddenly felt that sothing was wrong with Hecate's body and by the ti he was about to speak she was already coughing blood.
He could sense that she was in pain Jayden got the feeling that she might actually die even though she was not going to, and from deep inside his brain a pain that had been suppressed after he had transford began to pour out bringing endless anger with it, he knew that it must be the witch with tiny breasts who had hard his wife.
Jayden felt fear of losing soone again yet he couldn't rember who he had lost, which only added to his anger rising to great heights, he stared at Veena as his killing intent increased with each passing mont and he just wanted to obliterate her.
While Hecate's gaze went towards Rios who was sitting there with a relaxed expression after sensing a pair of gazes on himself, he just turned his face in a different direction Hecate couldn't believe that even he had betrayed her despite them knowing each other for such a long ti.
' Even if I die today I'm going to bring this man - whore down into hell, now I just need to send Jayden back. ' Hecate thoughts and then she tried to activate the teleportation barrier around his body but despite trying several tis she failed.
' There is no way that Veena could stop this kind of teleportation, then why am I not able to send him away? Shit, it is turning worse with each mont, what should I do now? '
Hecate thought but the pain inside her body was making her mind and vision foggy, and within seconds she could no longer feel any energy in her body.
" No matter what you do is f- futile now, just give up now. " Veena spoke, while looking at Hecate and then she suddenly launched an attack towards Jayden sneakily, she was sure that he would be critically injured after taking this attack from so close if not dead.
*BOOOOOOOM*
The attack hit Jayden directly and threw him back along with his chair, the attack was strong enough that it even pushed Hecate away who was already feeling too weak.
Jayden could have dodged it easily if his state of mind was normal but right now he did not rember anything not even his skills or fighting techniques so despite being able to see the attack approach him slowly Jayden didn't get exactly what he should do.
