"Master, we will always be by your side," the two sisters whispered, hoping to lt Du You’s heart with their presence.
After who knows how long, when the capital of Gu Country had been totally burned down to a shell, Du You ca back to his senses. With a wave of his hand, he led the two sisters onward, striking south toward the borders of the empire.
Gu Country wasn’t as large as Liang Country, and the nation wasn’t as powerful. The greatest strength of Gu Country was its chanism Skill, but this had limitations, and Du You countered almost all of them.
Advancing through the country was easy, hardly causing any trouble. By the ti Du You reached the southern barrier, shattering it completely, Gu Country was finally in a state of ruin.
"The Emperor of Gu Country is still out there, but our forces are too few to find him. We’ll leave that to you," Du You stated.
"Don’t worry, Lord Du You, we’ll handle this," the military leaders of Wu Country responded eagerly. This was an unexpected opportunity for them, one that Du You clearly didn’t want.
Indeed, with Du You’s strength and contributions, his reputation was secure. Moreover, they were aware of so of the empire’s internal maneuvers. No one wanted to leave this fierce wizard unmanaged.
