There were no reinforcents available right now. The situation on the small path shouldn’t pose any problem, but it couldn’t offer help to his current predicant for the ti being. Fighting on the middle height was very risky, and it might even be necessary for him to extend help instead.
So now, the only person he could rely on was himself. Without any hesitation, Du You released a Destruction Fla into the air while a swarm of dark beetles rushed towards the enemy.
What annoyed Du You was the fact that his fireball had just ford when several energy cannons fired into the air, brutally shattering his fireball. Though so fragnts of the fla fell and ford a Destruction Evil Dog, the quantity was too small to pose any threat.
"Damn, even people from the Blood-colored Empire utilise pure energy cannons now."
Originally, Du You thought that they would manufacture weapons by combining flesh and machines, mainly using that kind of red energy corrosion cannon. But unexpectedly, they also had a pure chanical unit.
It seems like he had underestimated the Blood-colored Empire, and the intelligence he got wasn’t entirely accurate.
The beetles were practically useless against these kinds of things. They rushed onto the tal armor but they simply couldn’t bite it, and the dark power couldn’t corrode it either. Even if there were beetles blocking the energy cannon, one shot from the enemy and all the beetles would evaporate. A bunch of beetles that completely filled a cannon barrel hardly weakened the energy cannon at all.
Left with no other choice, Du You had to hide, for he didn’t want to confront these things head-on.
"As I suspected, his beetles are useless if it’s not a creature of flesh and blood." The commander smirked smugly, yet a glimr of worry flashed in his eyes.
Those beetles targeted flesh, and their empire specialized in combining flesh with machines. Despite being a major cost-saving thod, it was restrained by this guy’s ability.
He hoped that such a skill couldn’t be taught on a large scale; otherwise, their empire would certainly fall into a disadvantageous position in the future.
Du You had no idea what the commander was thinking. All he knew was that the terrestrial chas were advancing toward him. When they got close enough, a group of chs stepped into the Dark Swamp, and their legs sank significantly into the ground.
"Humph, trying to attack our chas by using a swamp, what a...What the hell is going on?"
The people in the command center suddenly widened their eyes. The chas hadn’t sunk completely, and since their legs were long, they could keep moving forward. However, as they moved, they realized that the parts of their legs that entered the swamp had suffered serious corrosion.
Before long, a cha couldn’t withstand the corrosion anymore and fell after its leg broke. The Dark Swamp then started corroding the shell of the cha, and it wouldn’t take long for the swamp to corrode the shell completely.
"Damn it, attack and destroy those swamps."
The order was given. The chas at the rear stopped advancing and aid their energy cannons at the ground in front of them. Cannons fired, shattering the ground. The resulting energy conflict destroyed and dispersed chunk after chunk of the swamp.
"The effects aren’t as good as imagined, but at least it significantly depleted their energy."
Du You murmured to himself with a grave expression. Such energy consumption indeed could weaken the enemy’s endurance, but it still wasn’t enough. If he let them keep advancing, they could maintain most of their combat power.
"Fortunately, I still have a trump card. Let’s see if you can continue moving forward."
The Hellfire Thunder wasn’t linked together; if they tried to blast the Hellfire Thunder using this thod, the energy they carried might not be sufficient. Also, Du You himself wasn’t just sitting around doing nothing.
When those chas walked into the canyon, Du You, who was hidden on the side, took action.
For instance, unexpectedly popping his head out and launching a Dark Fla Arrow Array. The array might not work against a tier-3 cha, but for a tier-2 cha, these dark arrows could wipe out quite a few under their concentrated assault.
The remaining chas that weren’t obliterated were all damaged, appearing utterly wretched.
Heavenly Disaster Demonic Dogs finally made their move. These dogs wouldn’t trigger the landmines on the ground, and they just walked over before crushing the chas with their paws, turning them into scrap tal pieces.
But the enemy also spotted this giant creature, and they began to focus their fire on the Heavenly Disaster Demonic Dogs. In just two short seconds, the dog was killed, but the black light spots gathered again, and another dog appeared.
"Fire, I refuse to believe that this thing can’t be killed, and what’s that?"
Just as the chas were preparing to fire again, they suddenly saw a giant gorilla appearing amidst their ranks. This creature was also dealing damage one punch at a ti, and surprisingly, it had stord into the midst of the tier-3 chas and started a ruckus where they couldn’t focus their fire.
The next mont, the Heavenly Disaster Demonic Dog was killed again, and now they had to wait for it to resurrect.
"Having a large body size doesn’t co without drawbacks; it can’t withstand all these energy cannons." Du You looked at the sky. All three birds of his were entangled with the enemy’s warplanes. Otherwise, a paralysis aura could significantly weaken the enemy’s power.
Xiaozi could only use its Paralysis Aura to deal with those aircrafts in the sky now.
On the ground, sand started rising, gradually blurring the enemy’s sight. Soon, these chas switched to other detection thods, but it beca even more difficult for them to determine Du You’s exact location.
A boom suddenly echoed, and a fire thunder exploded, blasting a cha into shards.
"There are high-explosive landmines from the enemy, imdiately scan."
"Cannot detect, it’s not a high-explosive landmine, according to the energy spectrum it should be so sort of energy weapon."
"Could it be another skill of his? Seems to be a black fla." Soone suggested such a possibility.
The commander waved his hand grandly: "I don’t care what it is, advance! Must capture him! If we could research sothing from him, it would be a great contribution for all of you."
Regardless of the enemy’s alert, Du You was also frowning. Because a tier-3 cha in the back had advanced over and triggered a tier-3 mine, but the ch only got its leg blown off as a result.
Even though this still counts as destroying one of the enemy’s combat units, Du You still couldn’t rejoice about this effect. His Hellfire Thunder was at level 30, any average level 30 Professional getting hit by it would either result in a severe injury if not death.
But for the first ti, Du You discovered that his fire thunder specifically targets living things. Its direct destructive power against chanical things was way weaker, apart from the initial explosion that dealt a serious blow to the enemy, the ensuing fire didn’t pose much of a threat. One should know, if it were a biological entity getting hit by this, the fla could turn it into a dried corpse.
"I didn’t expect my Hellfire Thunder to have such a weakness, who knows if it could be redied when my level increases?" De You shook his head. He would consider things like this later, now he had to figure out how to pass this stage first.
