Gradually, the won finished vomiting and finally cald their minds. With constant adaptation to the environnt here, everyone’s ntality was much more stable than before. It seed that a battlefield was just that - a place of chaos and conflict.
Though many of them had only recently begun their training and were only at level one, it was still a great achievent to be able to contribute to the battle.
But Shaliya and the others were just too weak, with very little magic power. After fighting for a while, their magic power was almost depleted. "Alright, you guys can go. Staying here won’t make much of a difference," Du You announced.
Shaliya nodded. This ti, their main goal was to adapt and allow the others to experience the cruelty of this world.
Without understanding the harshness of this world, how could they possibly survive in it? They used to have their own families and duchy to protect them. Now, they could only rely on themselves, and on Du You.
Once the others had left, Shaliya stayed though, even without magic power, she remained by Du You’s side.
The sight before her made Shaliya uncomfortable, but still, she kept her eyes wide open to take it all in.
Du You didn’t bother to care about her, he just kept on attacking. His formidable power and seemingly inexhaustible magic power also shocked Shaliya.
She had never seen such a powerful mage in her duchy.
"Oh, the second wave is here." Suddenly, Du You noticed a figure appearing in the distance.
When this wave arrived, however, Du You’s expression changed, as he felt several threatening auras from the opposing side. Those were not ordinary people but Sandn who had reached the second tier.
They were primarily Quicksand Soldiers and Priests, but after reaching the second tier, they were no longer that easy to deal with. Even Du You began to feel a headache coming on.
"The second wave is already this tough. The third wave might be even more dangerous. No wonder the others have to reach the level of Colonists to qualify to establish a territory. This siege is truly perilous.

Lin Yucha precisely targeted those at higher levels, striving to eliminate one with each arrow. At this mont, there was no ti to conserve magic power, they hastily used all kinds of potions.

Now, Xiaozi was not as relaxed as before. In this wave, a nurous Sand Sculptures appeared in the sky. Xiaozi had to constantly deal with them. Though there were no second-tier ones among the Sand Sculptures, their number was simply too large.
There were more than fifty of them, and it would take Xiaozi so ti to eliminate these fearless Sand Sculptures.

With his incessant murdering, eventually, a mighty presence from the rear appeared. The leader of the second wave, a sixteen-level Quicksand Priest, was slowly approaching. The surrounding sand swirled to form a large cloud of mist.
"There he is, take him out," Du You announced.
Lin Yucha had been preparing for this, purposely letting the Quicksand Priest co closer. Then, a deadly poisonous concoction was thrown, piercing through the weak spot of the Priest’s defense and hitting him.
The strong poison spread. The Sandman’s resistance to poison was indeed strong, but against a tier-two potent poison, he was still affected. Following that, nine Thunder Light Orbs were dropped consecutively by Xiaozi, who had just finished dealing with the Sand Sculptures.
Finally, the leader of the second wave had been eliminated. The rest were no longer so troubleso. But what set Du You on edge was that while his magic power was still in good shape, Lin Yucha and Lin Yushi had already used up nearly half of theirs.
The third wave would be clearly more dangerous, a fact that left Du You sowhat uncertain.
"You should go, we have one final wave to face. If we can stand our ground, then we can secure our footing here. If it turns out we can’t, I will take you and run," Du You told Shaliya. As the manager of this territory, he didn’t want to lie to her.
Shaliya’s face turned a little pale, but she shook her head and said, "No, I want to stay and watch. I am the deputy lord of Mountain Town. Even if there’s danger, I want to see it with my own eyes."
This woman was really stubborn, Du You thought. "Alright then. But be careful and stay close to ," he said, while continuing to clear out the Sandn in front of him.
