The light ball opened to reveal mostly clear crystal coins alongside a greatsword.
Goblin’s Greatsword, Sharpness 2, common Goblin weapon (common)
"Not bad at all, definitely stronger than the dagger, although still useless." Du You felt his Brave Warrior’s long sword was indeed more efficient.
Production of this kind of equipnt was indeed quite low. He decided to store it for now.
While storing the white crystal coins, Du You suddenly noticed sothing amiss with his bag, "What the hell, where did my coins go? How did it lessen?" That’s when Du You realised sothing was missing from his bag.
Ever since he has been running away and hiding to organize his newly acquired knowledge, he hadn’t paid much attention to his backpack. After his fights with the goblins, he finally noticed sothing amiss with his bag.
Upon careful inspection, Du You finally found the reason on the panel’s record.
"How co nobody ever ntioned this? And there’s no record of it either."
Finally, Du You discovered the reason. As he perford the dark shaping to form the Cursed Crow King, he unintentionally burnt more than a hundred white crystal coins.
The white crystal coins served as an energy source which aided him in successfully manufacturing the Cursed Crow King in a short span of ti. Otherwise, the process would be long and the quality would not be as good.
"Looks like I should prepare plenty of white crystal coins when creating new summoned creatures in the future." Du You thought to himself.
Never mind, these things can be addressed later. For now, he had no clue where to find the Dark Elent Stone. This was not an item that can be stumbled upon casually. In the future, he would have to locate more mining sites.
After wiping out a tribe, Du You was able to return directly to Goblin’s graveyard.
This ti his visit was not ant to trouble Goblin Skeletons, but to retrieve the chain he had left there earlier. Because it was quite heavy and obstructed his battle, Du You had left it behind.
However, since the chain was a common equipnt item, he couldn’t leave it behind. Therefore, Du You returned to the hollow and wrapped the chain around himself.
"It is quite heavy." Du You was sowhat helpless, but there was no other way. As the sky gradually darkened, he and Xiaozi left the Goblin’s graveyard and found a safe place nearby to rest.
He felt particularly tired that day. When he awoke, it was the sixth day already.
"The goblin tribes are practically worthless to us now, how about we leave this forest and explore a bit?" Du You said to himself. Since Xiaozi couldn’t talk, it could only respond with actions.
"So that’s settled. We will head North." Du You pointed in the northern direction.
Because the chain he carried was too heavy, Du You had no choice but to walk instead of riding Xiaozi. Fortunately, he was swift and thus marched north, bypassing Goblin tribes and eliminating small teams along the way.
The rewards along the way were satisfactory. For the next two days, Du You spent most of his ti on the road.
He traveled while reflecting on his actions ever since he ca to this world.
Many tis, he had taken too many risks. If he had been more cautious at first, he might have faced less danger.
Du You knew that he was a bit too adventurous, and when he thought about it, he felt a little scared.
"I’m too impulsive, although, without being impulsive, I wouldn’t have been able to complete the job transfer task." Du You was very satisfied with his job transfer. As a result of the successful transfer, he obtained the occupation of Dark Shaper.
He no longer needed confirmation on how powerful this occupation was. His ability to create the Summoned Creatures he needed directly, and the high star level of the Summoned Creatures, demonstrated the strength of this occupation.
The only drawback was the difficulty in locating the Dark Elent Stone, but these issues could be addressed later.
He hadn’t thought about his other occupation yet. He would research it once he was back ho. As for re-doing a self-appointnt, Du You did not have the confidence for it.
Being able to find clues to the hidden occupation was a stroke of luck. Most so-called hidden occupations were actually held privately by certain families or organizations. They were not really rare occupations per se, rely had a relatively lower number of practitioners.
Only what he discovered could be truly deed rare. "I wonder how many other Dark Shapers there are. If there are many, the competition for the Dark Elent Stone would be fierce."
Du You was a bit worried, but at this point, there was nothing he could do, his job transfer had been successful.
Two days passed in the blink of an eye, and Du You noticed that the goblin tribes in his vicinity were fewer, he was heading in the correct direction. There were increasingly more wild animals as well. However even after two days, Du You had not exited the forest, although it wasn’t as dense anymore.
"Dammit, I could have left the Goblin Forest and had a look at the outside world had I been granted half a day more. Now, I can only return." Du You lanted.
He opened the panel and elected to submit the Kill Goblin mission.
This was a main quest with no rewards. After submission, Du You turned into a beam of light and disappeared. At the sa ti, Xiaozi also returned to Du You’s summoning space instead of appearing beside him.
The light flickered, the scenery before Du You’s eyes changed. He was still at ho, in the sa place.
Wait a mont, the light isn’t right, Du You noticed sothing amiss. When he had left, it was the middle of the night, and it would still be dark outside. But now, the sky was turning white.
He turned to look at the alarm clock that was previously set. "Wait a minute, what’s up with the ti? Doesn’t one minute in the real world correspond to one day in the Derived World? I was gone for seven days, so that should have been seven minutes. How co it’s already seven hours?" Du You looked at the ti on the clock. He had indeed been gone for seven hours.
This was different from his understanding. "I need to research this. Yes, my wristwatch. It can connect to the Magic Network and will reveal all the knowledge I am qualified to know."
Finally, Du You rembered his wristwatch. Now that he was not lacking any white crystal coins, he took out a white crystal coin and put it in the wristwatch. Then, the wristwatch’s program was opened for the first ti.
