""They really ran fast." Du You frowned, feeling a little annoyed. His attempt to eliminate the Sandpeople had not gone perfectly; he hadn’t killed all of them. At least a dozen Sandpeople had escaped because they were able to burrow underground.

He couldn’t do anything about it; after all, he didn’t have the power to dig through the earth. Seeing danger, these Sandpeople had easily drilled into the ground. Although he could see small sandbags moving above ground, they were too fast.

The key issue was that he couldn’t attack the Sandpeople who had burrowed underground directly. Killing so took a lot of ti and effort, and the rest of them would flee. It was indeed troubleso to deal with these Sandpeople.

Du You took out his simple map and sneered at the markings on it.

"Hmph, even if they run away, where can they go? There are only a few places they can hide."

The map indicated there were five Sandpeople villages nearby. The locations might change frequently, or they might stay the sa for several years. It was uncertain.

But the large areas indicated on the map were correct. If the Sandpeople were fleeing, they would surely head to these villages.

Sandpeople are different from humans. It was common for an individual Sandperson to join other villages if they were left alone.

So, Du You issued a command: "XiaoZi, keep searching. Find those villages for . Today, we will slaughter them one by one. We won’t let these bastards get away."

If there weren’t only five villages, Du You would’ve killed them without hesitating. However, if there were too many villages here, there would surely be powerful Quicksand soldiers, and he might not be able to defeat them. XiaoZi continued searching in the sky. Soon, even the Cursed Crow King made its appearance.

anwhile, Du You busied himself with gathering the sand orbs left behind by the Sandpeople, while recalling their responses.

"When threatened with fire, the Sandpeople react very quickly, but so had hidden, while others didn’t. It seems like those who didn’t hide did so not because of slow reactions, but because..."

Du You’s eyes brightened as he recalled so details. Those unfortunate Sandpeople who were stuck in his mucus didn’t hide underground. Perhaps, the mucus had isolated them from the earth. Or maybe the swamp environnt was so unique that it wasn’t an area they could burrow into.

The swamp he created didn’t hold water. Or rather it wasn’t ordinary water, but a special viscous mucus.

This kind of mucus could definitely agglorate the sand. If the Sandpeople could only burrow into the sand, then they certainly couldn’t hide. So, it seed he had to change his strategy.

In no ti, Du You found the second Sandpeople’s village.

This ti, Du You blatantly appeared and started causing a ruckus.

As expected, once they saw him, the Sandpeople started to scatter chaotically. However, a few of them looked like they wanted to run away. These must’ve been ones from the village that had just been destroyed.

But they wanted to leave and the others didn’t let them. Instead, they pushed these people to attack Du You.

"Ignorance is really a bliss." As Du You said this, he utilised the Mucus Curse again. However, this ti, he deliberately avoided the fire. He worried that the flas would frighten these creatures.

The mucus spread out, slowing down the Sandpeople. They couldn’t burrow underground, and their movents were greatly affected.

They struggled, so trying to break free, others trying to charge at Du You. However, since they were all stuck, they looked very chaotic, but the group itself didn’t beco disorganised.

Those who weren’t stuck tried to go around it and continue their attack.

"The effect isn’t bad. If the poison could take effect, it would be even better."

XiaoZi did not attack, the Heavenly Disaster Demonic Dogs were held back, only the curse of the Cursed Crow King was being cast.

Instead of starting a fire, Du You directly used the recently ford Holy Light Arrow Array. A white spell ca out of his fingers, entering into the void. Several light dots appeared in the void.

After absorbing a large amount of the surrounding light, multiple Holy Light Arrows ford in the air.

The process seed complex, but it occurred rapidly. No one could react to it in ti, let alone the Sandpeople who were stuck on the ground. With one spell, seventy arrows appeared at once.

Then, like a rain of arrows, they shot directly downward, turning the Sandpeople into hedgehogs. The magic resistance of these creatures was too low, making it difficult to resist the Holy Light Arrows.

Though they were fiercely tenacious, the Sandpeople were only a sub-species of humans. They had similar structures to humans and if they were seriously injured, they would die.

"Not bad, this is good. Let’s see what happens at full power." Du You cast seven spells simultaneously.

Visibly, his magical power dropped significantly, but the result was terrifying. Four hundred and ninety arrows appeared densely, making those with a phobia of crowded spaces feel their scalp tingle.

A large number of arrows descended from the sky. Standing alone, Du You looked like an entire army, creating a scene that was terrifying even to him. Under the arrow rain, not a single Sandperson escaped; all were slaughtered.

"The scene is spectacular, and the power is impressive, but it’s hard to control, and it consus too much magical power. It’s enough to use a single spell individually."

Du You pondered inwardly. If he encountered a strong defensive entity, then even many arrows would be useless. After all, this kind of attack was too dispersed. It seed he already had a new direction for developing his spells.

Regardless, he still had to continue slaughtering the Sandpeople’s villages. Du You set his mucus on fire to burn the Sandpeople and their villages.

As it turned out, the mucus could indeed prevent the Sandpeople from burrowing. As long as he controlled it well, the Sandpeople would be controlled from the onset and none would escape.

Then, using this strategy, Du You lured the Sandpeople out each ti, using the Mucus Swamp to block their escape, and then cleaning up with the Holy Light Arrow Array. One by one, the villages were slaughtered.

The whole process was devoid of obstacles, except for one Quicksand soldier who was level 9. The most powerful in the other Sandpeople’s villages were rely level 4, and there were only two of them.

After all, this wasn’t a frontline battlefield. Perhaps that level 9 Quicksand soldier had co from soplace else. After finishing off the villages, Du You turned off his recording emblem and began searching for his next target.
