Having bid farewell to those Swamp Dwarves, Du You and the two sisters flew in that direction through the air.
"Master, do you really believe what those Swamp Dwarves said? I always feel like they might not be telling the truth." On the way, Lin Yushi voiced her uncertainty to Du You.
"Whether they told the truth or lied, all that matters is that we can pinpoint the location of the Dark Vine Demon Emperor. If we can’t find it, we’ll just have to go back and make them tell the truth," replied Du You.
Lin Yucha also nodded in agreent: "Under absolute strength, they will act in a way that is most beneficial to their situation. Besides, this location might not necessarily be fake; I think at most they simply hid so things from us."
This world is no longer the world it used to be; it is a world devoured by the Earth’s will. Relative to the natives here, it is these Professionals who are now the favorites. This doesn’t an that the Professionals beco stronger in this place, nor that the strength of others is diminished.
Instead, the people of the original world are sowhat augnted in their own world due to the boost of the world’s power.
Now the Earth’s will would not give them such an augntation. The natives, who were already weaker than the Professionals, are now even weaker. Unfortunately, becoming a Professional isn’t such an easy task for them; this isn’t Earth, after all.
"This is the place, shall we give it a try?" From a distance, Lin Yucha pointed ahead and suggested.
"There are no Magical Beasts or animals nearby, which indicates there might be so danger here. If it’s the Dark Vine Demon Emperor, then that would explain things." Lin Yucha observed everything around her with her sharp vision.
Du You nodded: "We should back off first, then capture a few animals to experint with."
With their strength, capturing a few animals was very easy. The captured animals were thrown from a distance. A special force protected them, ensuring that the animals wouldn’t die from the impact.
Yet, as soon as these animals and lower-tier Magical Beasts landed, they imdiately began running in panic. It seed not because of the capture by Du You and the others, but rather because there was a significant threat in this location.
Regrettably, just as they started to move, the ground changed. Vines hidden underground and in the ponds stretched out like tentacles of a monster, moving very fast without any attempt at concealnt.
In an instant, all the animals and lower-tier Magical Beasts were entangled.
The dark vines demonstrated trendous constricting power, instantly twisting the entangled creatures into weird shapes with all their bones broken. However, instead of directly absorbing them, the vines extended their roots, dragging the dead animals underground as if wanting to absorb them slowly in this manner.
This indicated that these vines were not capable of directly devouring and digesting living beings.
"That’s right, it’s exactly as the data showed, it is the Dark Vine Demon Emperor indeed."

On the contrary, plants with so intelligence and combat instinct were what Du You valued. Even without his assistance, the Dark Vine Demon Emperor evolved into a Summoned Beast would still be able to exercise formidable combat power. Just like Du You’s current Summoned Beasts, he hardly controlled them himself, letting them fight on their own.

Then, a sea of gold and black was created. Scores of Demon Extermination Spirits and Demonic Fla Skeletons ford teams and headed over there. Demon Extermination Spirits had a certain restraining effect on the Dark Attribute Dark Vine Demon Emperor. Besides, since they had no bones or organs, even if they got entangled, there was no worry about dying; they could keep struggling.
As for Demonic Fla Skeletons, the flas on their bodies naturally possessed trendous lethal power. Dark vines of not-so-high tiers would gradually wither into ashes if burned for an extended ti.
The trouble was that once they fell into a pool of water, it took a while for the Demonic Fla Skeletons to struggle out.
The potency of the Soul Devouring Demon Fla would be reduced to the extre in water, making it vulnerable to being strangled by underwater vines.
Even so, along the way, skeletons and Demon Extermination Spirits continuously cut through vines, then pulled these things out following the vines. At the center of every vine core was a giant spherical nucleus, wrapped in nurous roots.
This sphere was also the toughest part, and once it was shattered, a large swath of dark vines would gradually lose vitality. Otherwise, the severed vines would heal in a very short ti and continue to grow.

Just as Du You was thinking this, their mass slaughter finally drew the attention of high-tier dark vines.
