Suddenly attacked, Du You was surprised but still able to react quickly.
Lin Yushi effortlessly fired a Shock Arrow at the incoming fireball below. The arrow hit the fireball, and the huge impact shattered it into sparks, which eventually dispersed into nothingness.
"Pretty impressive, but do you really think just a few of you can stand against us? Over the years, we haven’t been idle."
Luyali roared loudly, raising both hands high, and then nurous Demons ca running out from all around. Not to ntion the fourth and fifth tier Demons, but there were quite a few of the sixth tier. The aura that burst forth instantly was clearly perceivable by Du You with his powerful perception ability. There were well over a thousand Demons.
If all these sixth tier Demons were killed, his experience needed for the next level up would be secured.
However, the sheer number of over a thousand sixth tier Demons still gave Du You quite a shock. Originally, Du You thought the opponents would ally with the local natives and rely on the natives’ strength to protect themselves, but it turned out they were using their own power.
Thousands of them, how long would they have been summoning to accumulate such force? It seems every powerful Professional has their unique aspects, Du You thought secretly.
"Wait, this ability wasn’t originally Luyali’s. It seems he gained this capability after tapping into the power of the Demons. Look, the transford appearance they have now isn’t exactly Hell Demons, but the Demons he summoned are all Hell Demons. No, there are so that are not, but they have a very special aura, they must be modified ones."
Upon careful observation, this was indeed the case. This guy actually summoned a group of Demons from Hell. Not sure what thod was used for control but sohow these Demons all obeyed him.
And this guy’s own strength wasn’t very formidable, only at the mid-sixth tier. Among the summoned Demons, there were about a hundred mid-sixth tier, the rest were early-sixth tier.
The large number of fifth tier Demons around are giving Du You a headache. It was just like the ti he used fifth tier soldiers to surround and kill a sixth-tier. Although fifth tier poses no significant threat to him, there is still danger. If allowed to accumulate, the threat will grow and eventually beco the last straw that breaks him.
At this mont, another person ca out from the huge White Bone building nearby.
"What’s happening, why the attack? Is this an enemy? I didn’t expect soone to find us this quickly."
Needless to say, this was Malosa, his younger brother. Malosa no longer looked the sa; his whole appearance was skin over bones, resembling a living skeleton.
Yet his aura was a mix of death and demonic energies. It seems he intends to transform himself into a special type of Undead Demon, but it looks like he isn’t finished yet, much slower than his brother.
Seeing Du You, Malosa gestured with his hand and a massive number of Undead soared into the sky. These Undead, although weaker than Demons, were more nurous in fifth tier.
If not for Luyali’s large-scale summoning of sixth tier Demons, perhaps the fight would have been less intense than his own brother.
"These are two powerful individuals. No wonder they dared to betray. But I’m stronger," Du You sneered, without hesitation summoning a multitude of Magic Arrays. The Magic Arrays unfolded in the air, enveloping the area below.
Multiple fireballs gathered together, and a terrifying power began to spread. Du You did not take long to concentrate, just five seconds, because if he didn’t act, those sixth-tier Demons would reach him. But even with just five seconds, these fireballs were not sothing ordinary sixth tiers could withstand.
The enhancents to Du You’s various abilities, plus the skill itself being extrely fearso, resulted in an explosion of power that truly instilled fear. Seeing these fireballs, Luyali scoffed,
"Hmph, don’t you know that Demons fear nothing more than darkness and fla? Oh no, this power..."
He had just shown his disdain when Luyali’s expression suddenly changed because the fireballs fell from the Magic Array. Once outside the spatial barrier, that power erupted completely, and Luyali realized sothing was wrong.
That pure dark power was sothing he had never seen before. Moreover, this power was terrifying, and it seed to have a restraining effect on him, definitely not an Earth-added power but from the individual himself.
Sensing sothing was off, Luyali abandoned attacking the fireballs and dodged imdiately. At the sa ti, other Demons, Undead, and other traitors from Earth also fled imdiately.
The fireballs landed, destroying heaven and earth, a fiery explosion, completely cleansing the entire battlefield.
Du You, however, was astonished at his own results: "Truly worthy of a forr Professional, the capabilities are extraordinary."
No wonder he was surprised; out of thousands of Demons, directly killed were about two hundred, more than a tenth. These sixth tier Demons were not weak, so had fast speed and high defenses.
What really surprised Du You were the forty-six Professionals, except for the two leaders, the rest were fifth tier, but only two of these fifth-tier Professionals died in that initial attack.
Even though they were weaker, they were still able to evade his wide-area attack, which was quite unexpected. Even considering his attack had a wide coverage and large gaps, such a result was still shocking.
But Du You’s goal was achieved, as he intended to clear those fifth tier beings.
After those fireballs, looking at the scene, over seventy percent of fifth-tier skeletons and Demons were dead. The remaining ones, although nurous, all were injured, many losing their combat effectiveness, the threat from the fifth-tier level was gone.
The base below was now a pile of ruins, casualties heavy among those below fifth tier, hardly any survived. The kind of fireballs that could strike at sixth tier were not sothing these beings could withstand. The ground had three divots hamred into it, revealing three underground structures below. One was used for living, the other two were for storing goods.
"Damn it, how dare you destroy what we have accumulated for so many years," Luyali raged.
With so remaining sanity, Malosa asked first: "Who is this person? How co we never heard of him before?" Such a powerful figure, such potential, they should have known about him earlier.
