Du You nodded after looking over the various plans, "Okay, I agree. However, even if the academy manages to advance its territory to the seventh tier first, I won’t withdraw from the Star Ring Great World."
"Of course," the other replied. "This world is set against a starry sky backdrop, which is simply too vast. Even with a seventh-tier territory, it’s impossible to occupy the entire world. In principle, we fully agree to the addition of other territories."
"There shouldn’t be any problem then." Du You signed the anded contract.
"There is another matter," the other continued. "So of the hidden worlds of our academy can now be opened to you. These worlds have always been exclusive to our internal organizations, many backed by seventh-tier powerhouses. They were never open to students before, but with your current strength, it’s no problem. Here’s the list, you can choose for yourself."
Du You took the list, and his pupils constricted—there were too many seventh-tier territories belonging to the academy. There were over a dozen just for him, let alone the unknown total. The old power’s strength was indeed formidable.
The academy was doing this both to pull him to their side, continuing to tie him to their battleship so he wouldn’t leave once he found the academy useless. On the other hand, it was also a display of strength.
Well, it didn’t matter what the academy thought, as long as it was of no harm to him.
Next, the two of them discussed so matters regarding the seventh tier. These were almost impossible to find on the Magic Network, typically passed down by word of mouth among the upper class. Du You really wouldn’t know these rules if not told.
Now inford, he would avoid making mistakes in the future. These were rules set by alliances of powerhouses of the seventh tier and above—violators would face their joint retaliation. There were precedents of seventh-tiers who erred and paid with their lives. The world of Professionals was indeed very cruel; any seeming peace was the result of powerful forces operating behind the scenes.
After concluding these matters, Du You took his leave, heading to the Asia Alliance headquarters with the two sisters.
This was the Capital, and the Alliance’s headquarters was located here. It was just that Du You never had the credentials to visit before. He was now entering the heart of the Capital, the direct administrative center of the Asia Alliance.
The families that owned properties near this area were all top-tier powers, stronger even than those of Xi Qianxue and Li ngyao, with at least a seventh-tier powerhouse to qualify.
After presenting his identity proof and reporting his purpose, the guard finally let him enter.
"The security here is exceptionally strict," Lin Yushi remarked.
Du You nodded, "Indeed, it’s beyond expectation." It was his first ti realizing that the center of the Capital, while looking ordinary, was more heavily guarded than anywhere else.
Even the patrolling guards here were at least fourth-tier Professionals. And the hidden technological weapons made Du You’s skin crawl, contemplating the threat they posed even to sixth-tier powerhouses.
Sixth-tiers were indeed the pinnacle of combat power on Earth, but only within established territories. Du You would never believe there weren’t forces on Earth capable of handling them.
"So this is the headquarters, looks quite ordinary." The building in front of them had no distinctive features—just an ordinary building, albeit made of high-end materials. Without intricate carvings or high-tech vibes, it was simply modest to the extre, totally different from what they had imagined.
"Regardless of its looks, the mountain does not need to be high to be famous; its reputation cos with the immortal residing in it. What matters is that this is the center of the Asia Alliance. Let’s quickly get our paperwork done; this place is too oppressive," Du You said impatiently.
The closer to the center, the more oppressive Du You found the atmosphere. It was as if many powerhouses stronger than himself were gathered, making him feel as insignificant as a shrimp.
His confidence from his recent breakthrough rapidly vanished, leaving no trace of arrogance. At the sa ti though, Du You’s resolve was ignited: one day, he would surpass these people and beco stronger than them all.
"You’re here for identity verification, right? Please follow ," a woman at the entrance said, her features delicate. Her white hair and the concealed horns among it betrayed her non-human nature. Alien-employed workers were common in so stores, so it was likely that the Asia Alliance pioneered this trend.
Du You could not recognize the alien’s status, but he sensed that she was also of the sixth tier, and considerably stronger than him.
Capturing sixth-tiers as slaves for reception duties was sothing only top-tier powers could afford to do.
Soon, Du You and the others were led into a room with two more people who looked about his age. But as a Professional, Du You knew that true age couldn’t be judged by appearance.
One man looked so ordinary he could get lost in a crowd. The other, a woman, was strikingly beautiful, though her features seed sowhat off, clearly adjusted during her advancent. With his rising level, Du You’s perception of such modifications grew more acute.
However, they didn’t seem to care, focusing only on surface appearances, real or fake—it didn’t matter to many.
None spoke, simply sizing each other up. The man’s aura was subdued, possibly a thief or similar profession. The woman’s profession was less apparent, though it seed related to fire.
After a little while with no new arrivals, soone finally ca to manage their process.
"There are quite a few today. Alright, co and test. First, register your nas and identities. Don’t attempt to deceive, or you will regret it," the newcor sternly warned them.
The pressure from the newcor made Du You’s skin crawl—another sixth-tier, and one in the latter stages, perhaps even at the peak.
It seed that once inside here, sixth-tier powerhouses beca common, found everywhere. In the center of the Asia Alliance, those below the sixth tier were actually the rarity.
Certainly, this area was just a secluded zone; outsiders were not allowed into the core region, even if they were of the sixth tier. But Asia Alliance had many of its own.
It didn’t take long for everyone to register their information into a special machine.
