Even though it might be a world of eighth-tier beings, the spatial passage remained indistinguishable from any other.
Following the passage, the three people erged familiarly, the binding forces on their bodies dissipating. However, before Du You could say anything, he suddenly felt sothing off about the surrounding atmosphere.
"Damn, this is a battlefield," Lin Yushi’s complexion changed, for she sensed a large number of powerful auras around them.
On one side was the Demon Legion, while on the other was the Undead Legion. The sudden appearance of the three people imdiately attracted the attention of all foes. Undead Creatures eyed the Living Beings with irrepressible hatred and longing. The Demons, however, sensed the Demon Hunting power on Lin Yucha and Lin Yushi, their natural enemies, who must be killed.
"Not good, let’s go," Lin Yucha shouted loudly, then opened up the Platform Floating Cloud, and the three leaped upon it and fled toward the distance. Behind them, a mass of Undead and Demons gave chase.
Even indifferent to the presence of each other, they were determined to catch these few individuals.
On this battlefield alone, there were several hundred fifth-tier entities. Of course, if it were only these fifth-tier Evil Creatures, as they were restrained by the two sisters, Du You and the others would not be afraid of them.
Yet this was only part of the front-line battlefield. Many other teams were nearby, likely having received the ssage to track them down by now. Even farther afield, Du You was sure that there were sixth-tier beings, and certainly not few in number.
Once these sixth-tier beings got there, they would be dood. These damned ones really dug a hole for them, throwing them directly onto the battlefield. Du You strongly suspected that those who had sold them the coordinates had reached a dead-end on the battlefield, fleeing from this place. As a result, no sooner had they arrived than they found themselves in this predicant.
The war between Undead and Demons was not one to rest after a single fight or pause after not much ti. Both types of monsters had extraordinary endurance; a battle could easily last for decades, and it was nothing new to them.
"Attack, or we won’t be able to leave," not having flown far, they were soon intercepted.
Behind them, waves of dark magic and Undead Magic Power were shot toward them. Lin Yushi could only stand at the back, unleashing Shock Arrow after Shock Arrow to shatter these attacks, protecting them.
Lin Yushi also took the chance to release lethal attacks toward those behind, taking down a few.
In front, Du You and Lin Yucha were breaking through. Lin Yucha’s Spiral Snipe and whirlpool arrow were alternately used to hunt down the Undead and Demons that ca to block their path, with Du You providing support.
If the enemies ahead were either too strong or nurous, Du You would blast a route clear with an Energy Gathering Magic Cannon.
If they were overwheld by attacks, Du You would also deploy a magic power shield or a Dark Absorption barrier for defense. The shrunk Platform Floating Cloud was like a fast-moving turtle in the air.
Indeed, a turtle with a robust defense but relatively fast speed. However, in such a situation, they had no ti to ponder too much – there were simply too many foes around them. If things continued like this, enemies of the fifth and fourth tier alone would be enough to encircle and slay them. Du You finally understood the frustration that the Sea King Turtle once felt.
"Over there, that’s an opening, and there are no powerhouses; we can escape from that side."
Suddenly, Du You perceived a weak point amidst the enemy. After all, both Undead and Demons were not adept at commanding military operations. They preferred to swarm and surround their enemies.
A thought struck Lin Yucha, and the Platform Floating Cloud swiftly changed direction, moving as smoothly as cloud and flowing water.
Behind them, the mass of Undead and Demons persisted in their relentless pursuit. Moreover, a strong aura was fast approaching from afar.
"Damn it, a sixth-tier powerhouse is coming," Du You clenched his teeth, his eyes resolute. He still had a Resurrection Doll on him; if a sixth-tier attack ca, he would take it. After all, facing a fatal attack, he would take the sisters with him to leave this world and return to Earth. If the sisters took the blow, it would an certain death.
His Dark Resurrection could only be used once a day; at best, he could only revive one. So no matter what, he had to stand in the way. Du You frowned, defending against his surroundings, all the while sensing that strong aura.
Sweat dripped from his forehead; it had been a long ti since he found himself in such peril.
The last ti he helped the vice chancellor draw enemies’ attention, the threat appeared only montarily, and the vice chancellor had severely injured the enemy before any fear could set in. But this ti, the unconstrained aura of the opponent consistently subjected Du You to imnse pressure.
"Not good, another sixth-tier powerhouse is coming. If they catch us, we’re dead."
Du You sensed a second powerful aura rushing at them. No, not two, but three, four, more and more. The treatnt of being hunted down by sixth-tier powerhouses was sothing that fifth-tier Destroyers hardly encountered.
Du You could only give a bitter smile, realizing he’d been thoroughly duped this ti. He decided that unless possessed of absolute power, he would have to let others explore such dangerous worlds first in the future, of course, assuming there was a future.
With so many sixth-tier masters appearing at the sa ti, Du You was confident he could escape, but he couldn’t ensure that the sisters would take a fatal hit before him. If he was too late, he might be the only one returning. The thought of this scenario filled Du You with waves of irritation. Things had been going too well for him lately, and he had lost all sense of crisis.
The escape through the opening was within sight, but the visages of those powerhouses had already appeared within the rear view. Lin Yushi bit her teeth, standing resolutely in front of Du You without a thought of dodging.
But just then, an unexpected change occurred. In the sky, a bizarre spherical Demon with a large mouth and a single eye suddenly opened its maw and devoured a sixth-tier Undead beside it.
That stirred up a hornet’s nest; seeing this, the other high-ranking Undead turned around and attacked the Demon instead of pursuing further. Skeleton bones flew through the air amidst imnse fluctuations, the shockwaves perceptible even from a great distance.
Other Demons ceased their pursuit in response to one of their kind being attacked, and then the two factions engaged in a fierce battle in the air. Influenced by them, the rest of the surrounding Undead Creatures abandoned their pursuit of Du You and the others to join the lee. Whether Undead or Demon, there was a strict hierarchy; the lower-tiers had to obey the highers without question.
