Entering the canyon, Bubbles no longer feared death, facing only Undead Creatures. A large area of Light Blessing was sprinkled, enhancing the strength of their own people, while nearly clearing the area of Undead.
The two sisters charged into the group of Undead at the first opportunity, aiming for the tier-five Undead. Only after entering did they realize that there were more tier-five Undead Creatures in Black Fog Canyon than they had anticipated.
A glance revealed at least several hundred to a thousand, and there was no telling if that was all there was.
Moreover, the Undead Nests within began to constantly release waves of psychic blasts. Had they not all had the Spiritual Barrier skill, they might have been injured under these psychic assaults.
Even so, Du You could feel his Spiritual Barrier constantly trembling, and he knew he had to clear out these Nests quickly. If the Nests continued, he didn’t know how much longer he could hold on.
The two sisters were now fully unleashing their powers, telepathy fully activated, their thoughts reaching a high level of unity.
Whenever danger arose, Lin Yucha was the first to use Instantaneous Movent to whisk herself and her sister away. Lin Yushi, too, released her spatial coordinates several tis, sotis teleporting automatically.
The sisters didn’t even need a glance to easily know what the other intended to do, instantly comprehending each other’s plans.
Now was not the ti to conserve Magic Power. Lin Yushi used rapid-fire techniques, aid at all enemies. If any survived the barrage, it ant the enemy had so strength.
Lin Yucha kept releasing whirlpool arrows, her most powerful area-of-effect skill, enhanced by Divinity. Even tier-five Undead Creatures could not withstand a single baptism of the vortex.
Even so, the sisters occasionally needed to block enemy attacks. Lin Yucha’s Platform Floating Cloud shrunk like a shield, floating beside them, occasionally flitting over to block an attack for the two.
Lin Yucha herself also activated her Magic Power Veil, blocking several attacks. The attacks here were too frequent to completely dodge. Without dodging most of them, even the defense of the Magic Power Veil couldn’t have withstood the assaults from tier-five creatures.
Lin Yushi was covered with nurous feathers, the Drifting Feather, which could also deflect and redirect various ranged attacks.
Her own wings occasionally served as shields and could unleash spikes in counterattacks. Sadly, since the enemy was Undead, the spikes’ effect of intense pain was practically useless.
Upon entering, Du You first applied Dark Resurrection to himself, to ensure he could revive should he die. Then he activated Dark Absorption, since this skill used over a prolonged period consud little, yet could absorb enemy Magic Power.
Had it been a Magic Power Barrier, with Du You’s current strength, continually keeping it active would be sowhat costly; any reduction was beneficial. The dense attacks made complete defense impossible with just the automatic defense ability of a skill. Getting hit was no laughing matter.
Du You, a Magic-class caster, didn’t have strong physical resilience to rely on to block attacks.
Upon entering, he first released a large quantity of Dark Swamp. Although not highly effective, this skill could still sowhat impact the Undead. Even if just montarily binding a tier-five Undead was beneficial.
As Du You kept releasing a bulk of sli, the offensive force of these tier-five Undead Creatures was sowhat suppressed. Otherwise, resisting thus far would have been uncertain.
The abundance of tier-five enemies was no easy task. These Undead weren’t like the simple-minded Elves encountered previously; Du You couldn’t simply harvest a swath with a Dark Fla Arrow Array. The Undead Creatures had minor weaknesses; each one was an undying lunatic. Those who survived here weren’t lacking in combat experience, making the Dark Fla Arrow Array effective yet not clearly noticeable.
Fortunately, Du You wasn’t without options; the unleashed Resentful Souls Domain dealt substantial damage to these Undead Creatures. Occasionally, a tier-five Undead would have its soul torn apart, dying completely.
Du You also frequently used the Energy Gathering Magic Cannon. Without the need for gathering ti, a swing of his hand would suffice, the powerful Mother Nests easily dealt with in one hit.
Lin Yushi had her own thod of eliminating Mother Nests; a Space Arrow striking a Mother Nest followed by detonating a spatial coordinate. The torn spatial force would instantly reduce a tier-five Undead Nest to fragnts.
Although it sowhat drained her energy and the spatial coordinates needed ti to recover, as long as it wasn’t used too frequently, it wasn’t stressful for Lin Yushi. It was her most powerful single-target attack.
Occasionally, a few fireballs appeared in the sky; these were Destruction Flas wielded by Du You in between other tasks. Though not many, only able to release a few, and without a long gathering ti, each fireball still packed imnse power.
In this intense battle, Du You discovered he had grasped the technique of casting multiple spells simultaneously.
That was first releasing a Destruction Fla, then maintaining it while gathering fireballs, all while battling with other spells. Previously, this would have been impossible; Du You hadn’t even thought he could achieve this. Although he couldn’t maintain more than three fireballs, it was still a good start.
In many past battles, Destruction Flas were almost useless. But now, Du You found that when used skillfully, they could play a strong role in fierce battles.
In this tough battle, Du You and the sisters continuously consolidated their skills, adapting and solidifying their foundational strength.
Their already superb combat skills were honed to be simpler and more direct through this battle. It could be said that this fight alone might increase the combat abilities of Du You and the sisters by 10%.
This was purely a skill enhancent; their intrinsic physical strength hadn’t improved much.
Initially maladjusted, the trio gradually adapted to the battle environnt here. Advancing tirelessly, they wiped out more and more Mother Nests and tier-five Undead Creatures.
Under the trio’s tenacity, the battle waged on for a whole day, astonishing even the Vice Chancellor, as they hadn’t yet run out of Magic Power. Moreover, the trio had pushed halfway through Black Fog Canyon. Given enough ti, the three of them might be able to completely clear the canyon.
