As the Third Prince made his way from one place to another, he would et with the local nobility at each location, simultaneously lobbying for them to deploy so military support. Of course, on the surface, the Third Prince always made so gains.
Huoli, watching the soldiers in front of them, a flash of anger swept through his eyes. "Your Highness Third Prince, these people are too much."
"It doesn’t matter, it’s all within expectations, and it’s normal for them to behave this way. Right now, we’re rely stalling for ti." The reinforcents provided were so subpar they couldn’t even be called second-rate.
Despite their gleaming appearance, looking at them, it was clear they had barely trained for a few days, and they were all commoners. There were few among them who could even reach the first tier, let alone handle logistical tasks.
Then there were their weapons, seemingly well polished but realistically just trashed goods. Special thods had been used to make the inferior weapons and armor look like new, top-tier equipnt, yet they were rely for show and even worse than so decorative ceremonial swords used by the nobles.
Once they advanced with the troops, their inadequacies beca imdiately apparent. They moved sloppily, and their formation was completely disorganized. After covering so distance, they even discovered that so people had gone missing from the ranks.
Whether these people had deserted or simply gotten lost, it was always one problem after another.
And because of these people, their movent was incredibly slow, sluggishly making their way through.
"Still no response from the south?" The Third Prince suddenly inquired.
"No, it seems Shenghai Kingdom no longer wishes to cooperate with us." Their sent letters had remained unanswered, but according to the terms initially agreed upon in the contract, their part was completed.
"Heh, they’re wise to make such a choice, but unfortunately, against absolute power, even their cleverness is futile. I hope we can locate that person soon; it would justify all the ti I’ve wasted."
The Third Prince had traveled all this way primarily to divert attention, but it also served as a great opportunity to enhance his reputation. The real deadly strike had, in fact, already been dispatched.
At this mont, on the outskirts of Holy Fox City, the heart of the Holy Fox Kingdom, a shadow silently erged.
"There, that palace, after a long inquiry, it has been confird that their saintess resides there. Heh, there are quite a few fifth tier masters here, and none are weak. If they trap with their fervent efforts, who knows, they might even manage to keep here. Regrettably, killing one person won’t take much ti."
This person was none other than Caesar Elder who had quietly arrived here clad in black, with glimpses of bright armor and white beard and hair subtly visible beneath.
Without revealing any hint of his presence, as a sixth tier master fully concealing his aura was undetectable to those of the fifth tier; and without any formidable structures in Holy Fox City, his presence went unnoticed.
After covertly observing Holy Fox City and failing to locate the saintess elsewhere, Caesar was certain she must be inside the palace. The soldiers around the palace were vigilantly on guard, an attitude that convinced him an important figure was undoubtedly inside—who could only be one individual.
Suddenly, Caesar dashed straight towards the palace, his entire being erupting in white light. He released a powerful aura and drew his longsword, slashing fiercely at the structure before him.
A massive sound erupted as a fierce white light split the palace into two halves.
Coldly observing the interior, Caesar was about to strike again when his expression suddenly changed due to a similarly powerful aura rushing towards him.
His longsword spontaneously shifted to his side, blocking an incoming weapon akin to a harpoon. After a muffled grunt, Caesar was sent flying backward, his clothes tearing away to reveal the golden armor beneath.
In the spot previously occupied by Caesar now stood a Warrior in blue armor—no less than the Azure Knight appointed by Du You to protect Elsa, radiating blue Dou Qi and a threat even greater than Caesar’s.
"Holy Fox Kingdom still harbors humans; who sent you?" Caesar quickly pondered which of the central powerful empires might be responsible but couldn’t figure it out.
Among the central nations, none seed to specialize in water attribute. Yet assumptions weren’t reliable; who knew what kind of people those nations harbored. Regrettably, his opponent showed no inclination to respond.
Suddenly, another even stronger aura surged and struck unexpectedly. As a sixth tier master, it was brazenly shaless to ambush so blatantly. This ti the power was greater, and just after Caesar blocked it, his longsword was fiercely smashed onto his own chest, sending him sprawling and spewing blood.
Another figure in blue armor, dressed similarly but with slight differences, appeared before him. Clearly, it was this individual who had ambushed him.
"Late sixth tier, how is that possible!" Masters of late sixth tier were few in the world, typically only found in the central great empires and not in abundance; how could one be present here?
Unfortunately, no one replied to him. Then, two mid-sixth tier and one late sixth tier individuals surrounded Caesar, attacking relentlessly without concern. Each one was no less capable than him, but together they overwheld him quickly. A swirl of blue Dou Qi started to rotate around him like a whirlpool, enclosing Caesar within.
In the next mont, three harpoons, carrying terrifying force, pierced through Caesar’s body: one in the arm, one in the thigh, and another in the chest. The imnse power exploded within, instantly tearing apart everything inside him.
Along with his soul, everything was crushed into dust. Caesar, in agony, looked at those around him, his face filled with despair. How could the Empire have provoked such individuals? With them here, the Empire was in grave danger.
Until the end, he remained unclear about where these people had co from. Why, in such a minor place as the Holy Fox Kingdom, were there three individuals no weaker than him, and one even of the late sixth tier?
Unfortunately, he had no strength left, incapable of sending this information back to the Divine Fla Empire. In the end, Caesar closed his eyes.
