As the mission was submitted, Du You's body began to disintegrate into points of light. This was not him disappearing, but rather the process of Law Formalization beginning. The first step to entering the Derived World requires changing oneself into a spiritual particle state.
Only in this way can one enter other worlds. This is the foundation of Law Formalization.
Eons ago, humans first entered the Other World without having completed Law Formalization, they suffered trendously. In that age without Law Formalization, very few of those who entered the Derived World managed to make it back alive.
As his vision beca increasingly blurry, he finally made it. If the slaying of a giant toad wasn't considered a success, Du You didn't know what else could be.
What Du You didn't expect was that when his vision restored, he wasn't inside the World Boat. Instead, he saw a vast expanse before him, with multicolored lights shimring in the sky.
"Where am I? Has sothing happened at school? That's impossible. Our school is very secure, I've never heard of monster or alien beast attacks. Where did the school's buildings and everyone else go?"
Du You, slightly confused about the situation, looked curiously at the sky.
In the sky, there were many flying beasts, oh no, there were also things that weren't birds floating around. They were of various sizes, scattered everywhere. On the ground, all that could be seen were small creatures.
These creatures, too, were multicolored, like creatures made of elents, but they all took the form of small animals or insects. Seeing Du You, they dispersed, as if they saw sothing they disliked. Their slow speed made it quite an annoying sight.
Du You almost couldn't resist intervening and helping them. At that mont, a panel appeared before his eyes.
Mission: Touch, touch any of the Elent Creatures, and complete Law Formalization.
"What? Law Formalization again? What does that an? Could it be that Law Formalization must be perford twice?"
Du You was utterly baffled. He himself didn't know what was going on. In reality, at that mont, on the World Boat that Du You was using, the surrounding spiritual particles spinning at high speed suddenly paused in a strange manner.
Then, the light ring continued to rotate, with nobody noticing the change. Inside the World Boat, Du You's body began to radiate light, the light of Law Formalization starting up.
However, Du You was still in the Derived World, but not the one he was in before.
"I've never heard of anyone being able to go through Law Formalization twice. If there wasn't so kind of mishap I wasn't aware of, then there's only one explanation—my soul, which hasn't completely rged."
It reminded Du You of the soul in his Sea of Consciousness, which hadn't fully rged, with only half of the rging process done. His soul currently resembled a two-headed monster. Perhaps he'd been treated as two separate people by the World Boat . He didn't know whether this was good or bad. But since he was at this point, he had to continue on.
"Regardless, I've already gone all out. Even if I fail this ti, it shouldn't matter."
Du You scrutinized the mission carefully and observed his surroundings. "This kind of touch mission is quite rare. Usually, whatever is touched first, it just forcibly accepts, giving no chance for regret. This is completely different from the hunting mission. His practice and vision were simply insufficient. For now, he had no choice but to follow the flow.
"The best creatures here aren't many in number, and to get the best ones, I'd have to fly in the sky. Even having a bow and arrow wouldn't be enough. No wonder the majority of people give up on this type of world. It's way too hard to beco an Awakener."
To achieve this, one would probably need to jump several ters to even be able to touch those relatively decent Elent Creatures.
It's unknown if this place is of the Elental Class or Magic-class or perhaps so type of Summoning Class?
"Hold on, I seem to have forgotten sothing." Du You suddenly brightened up. He rembered sothing. He had just completed a mission where he beat down an almost impossible to slay giant toad.
He didn't know how much potential Du You had, but he did pick up a universal basic skill.
"Great, a universal basic skill. I wonder if it can be used here. If it's possible, maybe I can do sothing. Like, having my Summoned Beast to help capture a suitable creature."
Gazing at places several to dozens ters high up in the sky where the various creatures were flitting about, Du You seed to see hope.
Du You had a premonition that if he gave up this ti, he'd undoubtedly regret it. He wouldn't get a second chance to undergo Law Formalization again. Therefore, he had to seize this opportunity. Even if he had another chance in the future, once his soul completely rges, would this opportunity still exist? The answer was probably negative.

Du You shouted loudly, then glancing around nervously. "Good, good, no one saw my silly expression." Du You muttered to himself.
